I love songs basically that has guitar in it but these two seems to be different. I have been this listening to passenger really often for some days and it is still having a unique feel. I basically love listening to the lyrics.
I first heard about helplessly in 2017 and learnt how to play the song on my guitar because I wanted to sing it for a girl I liked back then (even though I don't have a great voice). But learning the song made me love it.
I think I have done a guitar cover of the song before. I will come back to paste the video link to that cover here 🙂

I have a degree in classical piano and yes, I sing a lot. But not as much as I want or should. My daughter is on Hive @ploimrt but has struggled to find her posting groove. She hasn't given up but hey, she's 16 and she does things in spurts and starts, when she feels like it. I'm hopeful to see her back posting soon. But the more I push her, the less she's likely to do it. 🤣

A degree in classical piano, oh how I wish I didn't have sausage fingers & the co-ordination of a drunken tortoise, I envy you that gift ((a gift that likely took thousands of hours!!!)) Singing loud, openly and often should be a universal rule for life for all, it is so damn good for the soul.

Like most "gifts" it really just comes from practice & desire combined, and the commitment of time.
It is what it is about Miss 16 and Hive - I occassionally remark to her that it would be cool to buy a new car for cash when her other friends are swimming in car finnance and dead end jobs.... I think that thought is burbling and I'm just letting it rest for now. I will share with her this morning that I have just hit 11,000 HP and climbing - and explain to her what that will be worth in USD and Thai baht when Hive hits $5, $8.17 (where it was when I first heard of steem) and $10+.
Singing is exurberance - or sadness, or beauty - made physical. And yes, a daily joy.
It's been an amazing weekend so far and we're headed out to hear some live music this afternoon.

Congratulations on that wonderful goal of 11,000, I am well aware it has been well earned, you are an inspiration as far as engagement and activity go, strange that we don't cross paths all that often even though I often catch riverflows, Aishlyn and miniSH from the NatMed community, the blockchain can be funny that way.
We started a mere month apart ($8.17 prompted me to check as I remember it well lol )but you have made so much more use of your time here than I, although I don't dwell on what has passed too much only on the goals I have set myself here.
Massive best wishes for the next stage of your journey, may that momentum carry you forward at speed but more importantly, may it be filled with fun, friends and fulfillment :)
ENGAGEtokens.Yeah I totally understand. My 17 years old younger sister @pejupops is like that. In fact, I'm tired of giving her reasons to be active. I went as far as making a deal with her by paying for her phone bills every month only if she can be active. Upon everything, she didn't fulfill her part of the deal 😅.
I'm patiently waiting for her data subscription to finish and she should finish watching all the movies she has watched on her phone. Then I will remind her of our deal she did not fulfill.
I guess everything is because they are still young and maybe doesn't know the value of doing plus getting noticed on Hive is not an easy thing. Takes serious work 😢.
Oh man, I reckon everyone here knows people like that... My own Daughters are the same... They could be here, they should be here, being here would help them to grow as people but nope!

Those lines are nice, although the whole song is pretty good, I can see why you'd like to sing it to that girl you liked. I actually don't think it matters that you may not be a good singer, it's about the thought...Although these days that may not be the case I guess - I'm a bit old fashioned.
