RE: Legendary Love ❤️ Efsane Aşk 🌸 My Monthly Author Challenge Has Begun! #5

in The Ink Well2 years ago

This is a beautiful story, @ipexito. Your opening paragraph is stunning. It draws us in and makes us want to keep reading. And the details are exquisite.

Here's a tip for you. Consider adding conflict to your stories. Conflict is an essential element of a good story. It provides the friction needed to make the reader want to find out how everything will turn out. The resolution of the conflict creates the "story arc." See the linked resources in our catalog of fiction writing tips for more information on these concepts.

For example, what if giant storm clouds appeared in the middle of the ceremony and lightning began to strike off in the distance? The reader would fret that everything would be ruined if the storm clouds produced torrential rain. But perhaps a breeze would blow through and eventually the clouds would move off and the sky would clear again just in time for the minister to pronounce them husband and wife. Just an idea! (And then your story would be perfect for this month's fiction contest in The Ink Well, in which the writing prompt is "storm."!)

Finally, we just have to ask: Are you really married to @arduilcelebren? 😀

I'm so glad you liked my story. Thanks for the tips and links, I will read it. You are right, it never occurred to me to add conflict because I was writing with a bit of excitement, it would attract the reader more. I will take this into account in my next posts.😊🌸

In reality, @arduilcelebren and I are engaged and will get married next year. This story actually reflects my dreams a little bit🤗. I wrote about our future wedding and @arduilcelebren liked it very much.

That is wonderful, @ipexito! I'm so happy for you both. May your wedding be as blissful and perfect as your story!

Thank you very much @jayna , I hope it will be so beautiful and joyful🌸🌸

I was wondering if this was your wedding story. I am so glad you have it in your mind because if you wish for it with all your might and visualize it in your mind it will all come true. I think the conflict part of the story was missing. You know, the spice, that someone unexpectedly shows up at the wedding, someone who sneaks in and wants to eat and drink for free, hehehe.
Very nice ;-)

Yes, as I mentioned, since I didn't write an adventure story, I didn't think of adding conflict, I just wrote my dream and in my dream, it was perfect and smooth.
Thank you for reading @jadams2k18
