That’s good I’m sure you’ll get in the top 50 if you keep it up. Somehow I manage to get in the top 20 lol.
It’s crazy but one of the accounts I commented on as my little standard introduction for people who are new, the guy ended up buying 100k hive because I was a nice first face to him and offered help and guidance! If that’s not a use case for how important it is to help people out I don’t know what is lol. I know it’s also a very rare case but like you said you never know who’s watching or on the other side of that. They could be someone with money to spend like him!
It’s a shame that some of the bigger accounts don’t bother. I found that to be the case when I was starting out. Going around to them and talking on their posts but I wasn’t in their circle of votes so they didn’t bother with me. Shame really.
That's an interesting story, and a good example of how a person can be affected just with a simple comment, a little encouragement and support. It's good to see that you are doing these things. There are small groups of larger accounts working to promote smaller users, but there are also concepts and groups that present themselves as doing it but are there only for their own gain. It's the way of hive, and the world. Greed. Unfortunately newer users sometimes get caught up and move forward with the wrong idea.
It's frustrating that most large accounts don't engage with the smaller much. They get busy though, doing back end stuff, but I think that could be a bit of an excuse too. Many are simply investors but wouldn't an investor want to value add to their investment? I would think so.
Anyway, each to their own. I know very clearly what will help drive my account forward, and hive in general, as do you, so let's do that and work towards setting a good example.
