Most times, people talk about morning routines, and they go on and on and on. The truth is that having morning routine is good, but having a solid nightly routine is just fantastic. Actually the potential of your nightly routine cannot be overemphasized. As a businessman or an entrepreneur, after the hectic day's work, you should have a nightly routine, when you think about all that you were able to accomplish during the day. And things you need to work on.
What majority of human beings don't realize is that you spend a lot of time sleeping. A lot of people sleep for up to 8 hours every night. If you do the maths, we've all got 24hours in a day, you sleep for 8hours out of it. That means that you've slept for 1/3 of the day. Which is same as saying that you've slept for 33% of the day. If you keep this up all your life, that simply means that you've slept for 33% of your entire lifetime. That's quite huge.
Knowing this fact, and how a lot of your lifetime is used to sleep, wouldn't you want to take advantage of those sleeping hours to continue to work on your most important goals? I'm sure you'll want that. That's why nightly routines are very important, to take charge of those sleeping hours, and use them to improve yourself. Most people spend their night time watching movies and going on social media, as they sleep off. This is not really the way you want to go.
When you fall asleep, your mind keeps on working on the things you were doing right before you fell asleep, it keeps on processing those thoughts. Now, imagine that you watched your favorite movie, and all through your hours of sleep, your mind is working on something that will probably not add so much value to you, in relation to your big goals. You have to use the hours before bedtime to get your mind working on your big goals and big ideas.

There are ways that you can follow to have your subconscious mind, working on your biggest goals at night while you sleep. First, you should review your day in the night. It's only right that as an entrepreneur, you spend some time in the night to think about all that you did in the day, and how you can make improvements. Second, contrary to what most people say that you should plan your day in the morning, you actually should plan your next day at night.
If you don't plan your next day at night, the next morning, you wake up a bit confused, not knowing what exactly to do. That seems a bit late already to be planning. In the morning you should be executing plans you made in the night. Lastly, journalling, most times you carry many things on your mind and it makes it difficult to think clearly, you should write down things that you want to get off your mind at night. So you can plan your life better.
Thanks for reading!
Every hour has its eagerness and certainly planning is important, as is resting. I don't understand if what you are saying is that we should take the work home, in that case I would not agree with you because it is necessary to share with the family and release stress, now if what you are saying is that we should take a moment to plan what we will do a new day, then I agree that we should face each day with something prepared. @tipu curate 2

That's what I'm saying. I'm not saying that you should take the work home. It's important to spend quality time with family. Later in the night, just before going to bed, it's important to take a moment to review your day, plan the next day, and write down some things on your mind. Nice comment. Thanks for coming around!
Greetings friend. I think it is appropriate to establish a routine before going to sleep, especially planning the next day, waiting to plan what to do in the day just after getting up makes us start later with the activities, since we have nothing prepared for the early hours of the morning.
Precisely the point. Without a plan already made at night, you tend to wake up the next morning not knowing what to do first. And when you begin planning the day at that time, you end up getting into action and execution of your plan late. Thanks for coming around!
Hi @humor0404, working at night is a complex issue, in my case I have had to deal these last weeks with developing work late at night, I think it is not healthy regardless if you see your income increase, remember that health is the most important thing. Now if in my sleeping hours I can conceive my most important objectives that is probably a good investment.
I'm not saying that you should be working late into the night. And even that, depends on the circumstance you're in. What I'm saying is that it's important to take out some perhaps little time to review your day, plan your next day, and write down some things on your mind. This shouldn't take a long time to do. And then you go to bed. Thanks for coming around!
I agree, that your day should be planned ahead. A little distance allows us to be more objective about our capabilities. In the morning we will find reasons to procrastinate and avoid being productive, if we have no plan to stick to.
Also we get our best ideas in the evening. Right before going to sleep.
Very correct. If you don't plan your next day in the night, the next morning you'll wake up not knowing what exactly to start doing. Planning at that moment seems quite late, as you're supposed to be in action executing the plans you made in the night.
I'm not quite sure about that, as different people get their best ideas at different times of the day. Some people get their best ideas when taking a walk, some when having a shower and so on. So it's quite different for different people. Thanks for coming around!
Thanks for pointing this out. I'm part of the majority focused only on morning routine but seeing this I begin to realise what's glaring at my face but I failed to acknowledge. The Next day and how productive it will be actually begins the night before. A bad dream can actually mess up the vibe of the whole day.
I like your veracity. Planning your next day at night is very important, as it will tend to increase your productivity the next day. Thanks for coming around!
Interesting read. Thanks
I'm glad you found the read interesting. Thanks for coming around friend!
