During the Cold Season of StreetArt in Montreal, it's the perfect time to edit and sort photos taken during the vacations. I've just opened the directory of photos taken during my trip to France in June 2024 between Lyon and Sète. We'll start with the beautiful Mediterranean town of Sète, with a love-filled mural done by Sunra.

Sunra
Sunra painted this mural "I hid under this thick smoke my revolted heart ” (J'ai caché sous cette épaisse fumée mon coeur revolté) in 2017. He's an artist who began his career in 2011 with the Arab Spring. He wanted to spread love with these stencils filled with hearts. He's inspired by the work of Banksy and Basquiat.

I just saw the little rat holding a heart. He looks like the Ratatouille cartoon... Very cute / FR : Je viens de voir le petit rat tenant fermement un coeur. Il ressemble au dessin animé Ratatouille... Très cute* 😀
Depose
A little further on in downtown Sète, there's this superb 2020 work by Depose on the metal curtain of the restaurant L'Arrivage. I'd already mentioned this Sète-based artist, active since 1991, in a few posts during my first visit to the town in 2023, see StreetArt #580.
Un peu plus loin au centre de ville de Sète, il y a ce superbe travail de 2020 réalisé parDepose sur le rideau métallique du restaurant L'Arrivage. J'avais déjà parlé de cet artiste basé à Sète actif depuis 1991 dans quelques posts lors de mon premier séjour dans la ville, voir StreetArt #580.
I'd like to end this post with a few nice stickers I came across while strolling around the beautiful town of Sète. / FR Je termine ce post avec quelques autocollants sympathiques croisés lors de balade dans la magnifique ville de Sète.
