Lately I've been taking so many things about my life a lot seriously than I normally do and that's all thanks to some goals that I've set for myself to achieve this year. I was a bit worried that I won't be able to achieve these goals at all but from the look of things, I think I might be able to do even better than I actually thought.
The goal is to take more care of my health, my physical fitness and my body generally. My resting routine is going quite well and I've been seeing some really good improvement in my over all well being. My plan is to rest for at least an hour or two during the day and then 5-6 hours in the night. I've been doing well in this regards and I've been seeing some good improvement in my activeness to things.
Today was a bit stressful for me because I had to do some hair care routine. Since I'm carrying a natural hair, it can be quite an headache so it takes so much time for me to loosen it and then wash it. I couldn't get a really good picture but this is how my hair looks right now after washing it (I just did a quick twisting so it doesn't shrink too much), maybe I'd take a better shot when I want to make a new hairstyle.
I started my day with my daily workout and so far I've been keeping my streak and trust me when I say it hasn't been easy. Waking up to do an exercise has never been my thing, I always saw it as too hard and not necessary since I'm not fat and I don't fall sick often but that has changed now because exercising is for everyone I'm making it a daily routine.
My eating habits still needs to be worked on and I think this will be the second hard thing to do because the people around me are not helping matters at all. I can't blame them completely, because I'm actually the one who needs to decide how to fix my eating habit. For now, I try to get at least two square meals which sometimes I even end up eating late at night.
Well, I'm doing fine so far and since the year is still fresh, I'm looking forward to improving on my daily routine to achieving a healthy lifestyle. There are other things that I wish to also engage in to give me a good health like loving more, forgiving more, caring more and smiling more. I just want to live a life that creates impact on others positively because I know that will in turn give me peace of mind.
When I have peace of mind I'd be able to focus more on taking good care of my health. So what are your intentional routines towards achieving a healthy lifestyle for this year? Do you have plans and if you do, are you keeping up with it? I know how hard it can be but then I'm very sure we can do it and remember, what doesn't kill you only makes you stronger!

On the eating thing, have you tried talking to the others to explain why you need their help ? Even if they don't change, maybe if they understand why you need to change things they can at least help you to get there 😀

It nice to set up your goals for the year. It makes everything in order. Even though sometimes it can be tiring I make sure I achieve them. My goals are set from academic down to body goals. This is year will be a good one.
