For example, like all those self-help messages that rather than helping, what they achieve is to sell themselves as a superfluous fiction to numb the real evils, or all the plague of self-diagnosis of the networks...

Hey, this is another comment but this one is off-topic.

I am testing to see if I can fix a bug in our next release.

Thank you for using D.Buzz!

Oh, so you're the founder of DBuzz. I have to say that I really like this platform despite I can't find so much Spanish-speakers users. Btw, I'm cuban and from here I need to use a VPN service, will this be corrected at some point? Because it's very tedious.

Posted via D.Buzz

Yes, this is something I'm interested in fixing in DBuzz v4.0.

You are the 2nd person to mention this, @manuphotos brought this to my attention too.

P.S. The #Spanish speaking population is one of the next Communities I'd like to focus on.

Yes, we both are cubans, so we're facing the same troubles. But I'm glad to hear about your intentions to modify those things thinking about users like us. Count on my support for whatever you need. I think you mentioned something about testing earlier...

Thank you so much @genrigp.

Yes, I'm interested in fixing all the remaining issues for D.Buzz (through our developers) and keeping our product as a source for good and self-development in a world that needs more of this.

We are about a week away from releasing a new Beta version.

Great. I'm excited to see the news updates and I wish I could use DBuzz for my ideas like I used to use Twitter without the obstacle of having to use a VPN service.

I think this is true, not just in the sector of psychology, but in every educational sector.

Most of the information provided to the world consists of falsehood, with few experts.

There are also different branches of psychology, which aspect of psychology interests you most?

Posted via D.Buzz

It's true, but I feel that Psychology has been prostituted more. I think it was Skinner who said something similar, but human behavior is the most common and closest thing we have, and that's why we all think we know so much about it.

I'm very interested in Clinical Psychology

It's true, but I feel that Psychology has been prostituted more.

Aside from self-help "gurus" spreading false info & their followers believing it helps (despite objective evidence).

Posted via D.BuzzWould you say the study of psychology has been "prostituted" to benefit #BigPharma medicine?

Good question, and in fact it is a visible effect observed in the evolution of the DSM. All this overdiagnosis from social networks is nothing more than an effect of it. Nowadays, the best way to hide is to exaggerate.

Posted via D.Buzz

Yes, & I think 2 questions can further clarify what makes the DSM interesting.

  1. The DSM offers a list of symptoms, does it offer a clear layout of what a healthy mind is?

  2. If started to tell you each coordinate on earth where I was not, how long would it take to find me?

    Posted via D.Buzz

Sorry for the delay in responding.

Indeed, the DSM does not talk about what a healthy mind is, it is simply a diagnostic and statistical manual. It is just to categorize -once again- people, even though the reality is that each one expresses symptoms in a very particular way.

Clinical Psychology is very interesting.

I'm also interested in psychology & clinical psychology.

Understanding discontentment, the cause of discontentment, the solution & way of practice leading to the elimination of discontentment, is my main topic of interest.

Posted via D.Buzz

I take the opportunity to tell you that, although I don't have posts focused exclusively on the clinical field, I have some that touch on those topics from a more social perspective, and that they are even in English, in case you're interested in taking a look at them.

Posted via D.Buzz

From the perspective of those books & experts.

  1. What is discontentment?
  2. What is the cause of discontentment?
  3. How to eliminate discontentment?
  4. How can a person practice in order to move toward the elimination of discontentment?

These are quite broad issues that should be grounded a little. Dissatisfaction is simply when a person experiences it as such, regardless of the situation or the causes, because it is totally valid to feel discomfort in the face of whatever it is that causes it.
