Nie wiem, dlaczego we współczesnym świecie coraz trudniej znaleźć rzemieślników, którzy wykonują potrzebne funkcje. Zwykle jadąc do Polski, zabieramy z sobą sitko i nóź od maszynki do mielenia mięsa, żeby je naostrzyć u znajomego ślusarza w naszym rodzinnym mieście. Wcześniej pytałem o taką usługę w kilku punktach usługowych w Belgii, ale nikt nie potrafił nam pomóc. Ostatnio, kiedy byliśmy w Polsce, zapomnieliśmy zabrać ze sobą sitka i noża do ostrzenia. W związku z tym, że nóż już był bardzo tępy, a do Polski wybieramy się dopiero za pół roku, to postanowiłem jeszcze raz poszukać kogoś, kto będzie świadczył taką usługę w Belgi. Znalazłem kowala, który jeździ od rynku do rynku i ostrzy noże, nożyczki itp. W związku z tym pojechaliśmy wczoraj znów do Soignies, gdzie był rynek, żeby go znaleźć. Udało się, sitko i nóż są znów ostre. Szkoda, że takich ludzi jest coraz mniej, nie wiem, dlaczego łatwiej jest coś wyrzucić i kupić nowe, niż to naprawić.

When we go to Poland, we usually take a colander and a mincing knife with us to have them sharpened by a metalworker friend in our home town. I had already asked about this service at several service stations in Belgium, but no one could help me. The last time we were in Poland, we forgot to take the strainer and sharpening knife with us. As the knife was already very dull and we are only going to Poland in six months' time, I decided to look for someone in Belgium who could provide this service. I found a blacksmith who goes from market to market and sharpens knives, scissors, etc. So yesterday we went back to Soignies, where the market was on Tuesday, to find him. It worked, the colander and the knife are sharp again. It's a pity there are fewer and fewer people like that, I don't know why it's easier to throw something away and buy a new one than to fix it.
Po południu znów potruchtałem. Wyszła fajna dycha. Po drodze mało brakowało, a wpadłbym pod samochód, dobrze, że kobieta jechała wolno, a ja w ostatniej chwili zorientowałem się i zdążyłem odskoczyć na bok. Nie planowałem, że to będzie dziesięć kilometrów, ale pogoda była idealna, a ja czułem się doskonale, dlatego dodawałem kolejne kilometry do swojej trasy. Kiedy już byłem na drodze prowadzącej w stronę domu, to zorientowałem się, że zabraknie mi kilkaset metrów do pełnej dychy. Zmieniłem nieznacznie trasę, nie przejmując się, że zamiast po płaskim, będę musiał pokonać jeszcze niewielki pagórek.
[ENG] I went jogging again in the afternoon. It turned out to be a nice day. On the way I almost fell under a car, luckily a woman was driving slowly and I noticed at the last moment and managed to jump out of the way. I hadn't planned to run ten kilometres, but the weather was perfect and I felt great, so I added more kilometres to my route. Once I was on the road back home, I realised I was a few hundred metres short of the full ten kilometres. I changed my route slightly, not caring that instead of being on the flat, I would have to climb a small hill.
