First Day of Spring, Recovery, and a Special Little Helper
Today was a recovery day – after yesterday’s intense workout, I’m definitely feeling those sore muscles! My glutes are on fire, my body knows it worked hard, and my wristband was so soaked it could compete with a dishcloth. I’ve clocked in 14,486 steps so far, and I might get a few more in before the day ends, but no extra training today. Rest is part of the process too!
But it wasn’t just about physical rest – today was also really special because my daughter Sara came to work with me. She’s always said she wants to work in a preschool someday, so this was the perfect chance to see what it’s really like behind the scenes.
And since today was the first official day of spring, we took the kids to the park for an outdoor educational activity with a forest ranger. It was beautiful – sunshine, fresh air, and children soaking up knowledge like little sponges. After we returned, we had lunch and spent the rest of the day in the garden, enjoying the warmth and letting the kids run wild.
The best part? Sara met my coworker’s daughter and they instantly clicked. They ran around, talked and laughed like they’d known each other for years.
It was a day full of sunshine, good energy, and beautiful connections. Time spent together – not just any time, but the kind that mixes passion, experience, and love.
These are the kinds of days that stay in your heart for a long time.
Pierwszy dzień wiosny, regeneracja i wyjątkowa pomocniczka.
Dziś był dzień regeneracji – po wczorajszym intensywnym treningu aż miło poczuć zakwasy! Tyłek piecze, mięśnie czują, że dostały w kość, a frotka na nadgarstek wczoraj mogłaby konkurować z mokrą ścierką. Na liczniku 14 486 kroków i pewnie jeszcze coś dobiję, ale dziś odpuszczam dodatkowy trening. Trzeba kiedyś dać ciału odpocząć, żeby jutro znów mieć siłę działać!
Ale nie tylko ciało dziś odpoczywało – to był też wyjątkowy dzień, bo do pracy poszła ze mną moja córka Sara. Zawsze mówi, że chce kiedyś pracować w przedszkolu, więc miała okazję zobaczyć z bliska, jak wygląda codzienność wśród maluchów.
A że dziś pierwszy dzień kalendarzowej wiosny, to zabraliśmy dzieci do parku na zajęcia z leśnikiem. Było pięknie – słońce, świeże powietrze i dzieciaki chłonące wiedzę jak gąbki. Po powrocie szybki obiad, a resztę dnia spędziliśmy w ogrodzie, korzystając z pogody.
Najfajniejsze było to, że Sara poznała córkę mojej koleżanki z pracy i od razu złapały wspólny język. Biegały razem, rozmawiały i śmiały się tak, jakby znały się od lat.
To był dzień pełen słońca, dobrej energii i pięknych relacji. Czas spędzony razem, i to nie byle jaki – bo łączący pasje, doświadczenie i miłość.
Takie dni zostają w sercu na długo.

Imagine how those kids must have felt to play around with each other. As for your daughter, it's like she too is social. She's my type. I can easily make friends and mingle as if we've known for years. My regards to her.
