RE: Modern Day (Western) Shaman's, Lining Their Pockets

in Rant, Complain, Talk12 days ago (edited)

I come from a family lineage where most of my relatives, including my immediate family, have the ability to walk between worlds. My folks can see, can hear, can feel, can commune and have spiritual union with their personal guardian (most often some Chinese Diety, since we're Chinese.

Ever since i was young, by the age of 3 i was already travelling the world of Asia with my Father, who in his 30s during the mid 80s, already set himself on path of an Urban Shaman.

Most of my family gained their notoriety during 1960s-70s HK (we're from the New Territory sides, a newer island man-made outside of the tradittional OG plot of land that is old Hong Kong). I remember Grandpa had his fingers in the Black-Society/Triads. He killed a white cop during the British takeover right in his home....slapped him on the back of the head (my Grandpa was a maser of a Gungfu called Choi Lei Fat...fcking lethal) so hard the police man in his green shorts hit the glass coffee table and died instantly. I remember meeting my Grandfather for the first and last time on his death bed, and he kept on saying to us "The FUCKING policeman is looking at me from the doorway, tell him to leave!

Back then everyone learnt what we call "神功" (can be translated as "Shen Gung" Mandarin or "San Gung" in Cantonese, meaning "Divine Intervention/Results/Mastery), especially the triads who lived their life by the sword and stupid blood money.

I would watch my Father for 15 years whenever he pulled out a yellow slip of paper, tailor printed by a guy in the "business" from London. These are Talisman writting papers...bright yellow as yellow and white makes the espiritos malos scared shitless. Don't bring out the red talisman paper! That's when one needs to time out a spirit...RED CARD FOR YOU!!!!

Do you like old films? Here's one from 1987 Hong Kong, a very popular movie series called Mr Vampire

As i grew older, my Father tried to groom me in the ways of the Yijing/Iching, of Liu Ren (the Chinese folk magicks my Father was gifted this lifettime), also Da Liu Ren (one of the oldest most accurate divination method, using the entire Cosmos as a mathematical bases). These ancient arts were used in Wars, in setitng up military expidiitons, in cleansing entire regions from spirits, right down to the personal....things like astral warfare, spirit union, talisman warfare, remote alter warfare (with enchanted weapons, scapegoat dolls/paper clones to trap someone's soul in with a strand of hair, finger nails, sweat, a breath, or even blood....i prefer someone's mobile number...i dont need all that crap lol). But due to what i have seen and experienced personally, i decided to forgo that path as i have seen what it does tto someone.

We mortals should not mess with the other side. It's not for us to mess with. Unless you were specifically sought out, or you randomly encountered a Master (often times you will find these Masters being the main chef of restaurants, or they were the porters of temple complexes doing really shite jobs and being harrassed by lay folk all day long, or you may find them in a district called Temple Street, filled with triads, prostitutes, outdoor eateries under those Hong Kong styled Shang-Hai influenced paper umbrellas), then one should pursue it.

It was this upbringing that lead me to sleight of hand with playing cards....and it took me a further 10 years to break away from the spiritual realm.

When i am out and about i also feel things. My skin would prickle and jump, like getting attacked by D.E.W tech. Only difference is you will start to feel the spirit's intention, much like a Mother feels the child inside her belly.

Thank you very much for calling this subject out. We are in the bad times and as the Buddha said in the Shurangama Sutra, near the end i believe, that "Evil Sages/teachers preaching the Dharma will be as many as the river ganges sand during the dark times). Then in the last chapters the Buddha concretely opens up with tthe 50 categories of internal demons that enter into people's via possession, according to which aspect of the 50 they find an opening in. As i peruse the last chapters of the Sutra, everything concretely laid out very visually, i can see the 50 categories of these demons everywhere now.

I am afraid of course, for i am human. But you and i represent the Force of Good against the Forces of Evil. At least i am not alone.

Thanks Ashlynn!

Great comment @jin-out - there appear to have been times that we have walked similar paths. I have had lots of experience with the supernatural - and came away from it all with an understanding that is shared by yourself - that some things are best left alone. Likewise, there are methodologies and tricks (sleights of mind) that I have picked up along the way that I would never tell another living soul. I often discern the presence of intrusive entities and have no hesitation in agreeing that the demonic is very real.

The only thing I practice now is aligning my heart, intent, and action with the divine providence of the great spirit. What I can say is that there are nefarious entities and individuals who are awaiting a time of absolute chaos. With that in mind, one gift I do have is the ability to read the essence of a person - from that perspective, I see you have a good heart. I note you are in Birmingham - if by chance the shit does properly hit the fan in the coming years and you need to escape the big smoke, I'm out in the sticks in the southwest. I am no fan of technology (hence often not that communicative lol) so you won't find me on any messenger apps - but if I'm still in the country and you message - I will be checking in and out of here at the right time, providing the electricity is still flowing lol. Catch you later dude.

I find the scene in Tolkien's RETURN OF THE KING, where Aragorn is lookin into the Palantir (the scene is much more intense in the books)...he makes himself known by The Enemy and The Enemy in turn has a connection with him. That's how it is with the supernatural.

I often tell people to stop toying with gems and stones, as spirits love hiding in those. Whenever i go into hippy type shops i get a massive headache, one because of the concentration of unfocused energies radiating off these fcked up Feng shui set ups, and two cuz them spirits in those gems are living it up. In the recent years i have seen freedom fighters that i've personally known market themselves as healers....true healers do not make themselves known especially in a dark time like this....they work silently, helping any and all out of sight, out of mind.

I call these prophets for profit.

I know you do not like any messenger apps, but i would wholesomely recommend you and @trucklife-family look into SimpleX chat. A very secure messenger app that requires no kyc at all. No email, no phone number. If you do decide to make an account, please send me a email via [email protected] with your userlink. I am more inclined in talkin about my plans for extricating the system, which i have been working on for the last few years, over there rather in open public.

But thanks for reaching out. I do miss the South. I have not visited the south in a while. That's where true England is. I am lookin to do some wild camping this year, so may let you know whats happening.

Cause and effect is the thing to align with, and if we can live on goodwill as my friend @valued-customer always reminds me, then where is the cause of fear? If it's our time to go, it's our time to go. If it is true that we not survive this dark tide, so be it. I submit myself to karma, knowing that i can track the progress of my karmatic trajectory with the arts of Bazi and Yijing, yet knowing full well that the path laid out to me must be traversed.

Ain't goin out like a punk never!

Yes, Tolkien knew his shit - in their entirety, the Lord of the Rings series is filled with occultic and Saturnian symbolism and imagery. Also interesting how the concept/word Palantir has found its way into the military-industrial complex and the networks surrounding Trump - as I wrote a few years back.

I couldn't agree more - I apply an analogy with natural medicine - many of which offer some amazing health benefits. Likewise, certain medicines can cause negative interactions when they're taken together - hence if you don't know your shit, you can make yourself ill. In terms of healing etc etc I tend to think that if you need to tell me what you are - then you probably aren't. I will have a look into SimpleX - just as time goes on I'm retreating into a more simple back to basics way of life - and slowly leaving technology behind. But I can certainly get where you're coming from.

I'm often camped out under the stars on Dartmoor - so yeah maybe give us a shout sometime. I'm planning a long distance hike (camping and staying in remote bothies) at some point this year - so looking forward to that.

"A reed before the wind lives on, while mighty oaks do fall" - Indeed, to a certain degree you have to bend with the storm - but not to such much that you get bent out of shape. Likewise, I am in control and take responsibility for my emotions - and will not allow them to be manipulated by malevolent external influences. Every day is a gift - and I refuse to live one minute in fear - maybe the odd fleeting seconds lol. What will be will be - none of us are perfect, but as you allude to - it's the intent that matters. Catch you later dude.

If you were interested in learning the Yi, please check this channel out

Harman is very good with the Yi. He especially specialises in the Zhou dynasty method of divination using the Yi, rather than the post Han-Dynasty Confucian influenced style that saw the bronze age text as a book of wisdom (originally it was compiled by age old Diviners for Royal use, and the original bronze age text is very Machiavellian).

I like the Zhou era form of divination, as it does not rely on man-made languages to consult the oracle nor interpret. Rather, most of our ancient ancestors thought in image-speak, they were very attuned to the signs and omens of the 10,000 things. That's why they were so connected with the spirit realm and higher realms. Nowadays because of language, our minds have closed off from The Source...too in our heads...

Thanks for this as well.
Loving the conversation that has taken place between you and @perceptualflaws, both of you sharing your wisdom on here xxx

I will be checking out that movie you left here for me, I'm quite curious about it and thank you again for sharing your personal experience, which really is so valuable to me xxxI really appreciate your input @jin-out, especially as you have first hand experience, mine is all from observation and my inner knowing. I can tell usually quite quickly if someone is authentic or not, or just in the game for personal gain. I think I have always been good at picking up on someone's energy I put that down to spending most of my childhood in nature, ,where connection can not be faked.

Ash, i highly suggest learning the Yi and lookin into Harman's work, on his Yitube youtube channel.

I am currently throwing away most western yijing interpretations. Though recently i have picked up (upon recommendation by Harman) Richard Rutt's Zhou Yi book. I am also looking into Stephen Field's "Duke of Zhou Changes".

Coupled with your Tarot, and the life you live, and the desire to spread Light. You and Yi must find each other.

Come over to blurt.blog and bring da ladies over too please!!!
