Vi personas abandonar sus perros porque no podían comprarles perrarina, se formaron jaurías en los botaderos de basura, la vecina del frente se le murieron flacos por no tener que darles, muchos gatos fueron arrojados en la calle, un día vi una pecera con peces mordisqueados, el hambre los volvió caníbales o despertaron su naturaleza interior, murieron irremediablemente, los que tenían pájaros los liberaron, los que criaban conejos los sacrificaron para comer.

Vi muchas peceras en venta de garaje, perreras, correas, jaulas y juguetes de mascotas, ¡Aclaró! Esto sucedió en el año 2016, fue un tiempo muy difícil para nosotros los venezolanos, hoy en día no es que vivamos en el paraíso, pero la comida existe en los anaqueles, costosa pero abundante, en aquel entonces no era así, vi muchas personas como los judíos en los campos de concentración, flacos y macilentos.
Yo baje 35 kilos, lo que había para comer era auyama, yuca, sardina y frijol, podías tener dinero, pero simplemente no tenías acceso a comprar los artículos de primera necesidad, no sé quién es responsable de todo este desbarajuste, pero quedó registrado en nuestra historia, la cual se contará a las generaciones futuras, para que no vuelva a repetirse.
En vista de que presencie y viví este amargo capítulo, en la actualidad he sido muy precavido para tener una mascota, evalué y medite las opciones que mis niñas tenían, yo estoy sin empleo, lo que generó apenas nos alcanza, por lo tanto escogimos un morrocoy, nos lo regalaron, lo bautizaron como Tippi, la niña de 5 años fue la que razono y escogió el nombre.

Tuvo un perrito y murió, ya que yo no sabía que se debían desparasitar, también tuvo dos loritos y su mamá los piso (a ambos) cuando salió corriendo, pues se le quemaba la comida, lloro mucho mi hija de 4 añitos en aquel entonces, la consolé diciéndole que ellos se volvieron estrellitas y pasó varias noches contemplando el cielo.
