I am the real Chris and I don't need to get verified. Sometimes I am Ben or Rupert during Tuesdays. I don't care who makes verification just care whether I'm voting a faker or legit owner of the content. But you gotta take my word for it that I am Chris on the weekends and David on the weekdays as I didn't want to obligate myself to get verified.

I think you can communicate more directly and clear than that, but I understand your sarcasm.

  • Once there is an automated opt-in verification system, that problem will be solved.

Each "Blue Check" mark, could be referenced to the Web2 Profile that was used to verify.

For users that decide not to opt in, the ideal scenario is they get less chances of being curated due to the lack of a check mark? Yeah, in an ideal world that would work until some rogue curator with stake just randomly gives out fat votes. There are users like that and don't really give a damn whether they are upvoting stolen content.

I saw that vid, just don't see it getting traction yet on the broader Hive where rogue curation on stolen content is still a thing. Great to have tools like for any platform.
