Oh? Comfortable is being able to step into the shower, turn the water on and actually have a long hot shower. Your method is what some people might put up with for a short time, but not permanently.
Some people are not cut out for off grid living.
Some people are not cut out for survival if the grid goes down.
Out here the power goes out a lot. Its good to have fully off grid options, especially in the dead of winter.

Oh we are happy with our lives here on the homestead. If I wanted to live like you do, then we would not have moved here.
Living in squalor, not being able to go on trips, not being able to treat your wife with gifts and a trip to a hairdresser. Yes I would have made the same move?
Of all the states you could move to you choose MI, bad choice weather wise. Still earning more in a day than you have potentially on all of this time on Steem. Wrong life choices.
Oh, that is just your opinion. We love it here. So fresh, clean and pure.
Peaceful. We are surrounded by lakes, streams and ponds full of clean fish.
We are just a short distance away from many huge tourist attractions.
And we have the Great Lakes which words cannot describe.
