Cute baby bunnies!
I'm sure that some of you may have thought that I was going to say rabbit manure, and that would have been a good guess. I think that it is a close second. However, you've got to give it to the baby bunnies.
Like so many other creatures, @little-peppers included, they grow up so fast and don't stay small forever. While they are little, though, they are the softest, warmest, cutest, cuddliest little things on the planet.
Less than two weeks ago these little bunnies were born, and they are already growing up so quickly. The eyes have opened, the fur has come in, and now they are looking and hopping around. At this stage they are a little easier to handle, and the @little-pepper relish the opportunity to check on them each day.
Breeding, raising , and caring for the rabbits is a responsibility-building experience for our young ones, and it is so nice that a byproduct of the whole scenario is the periodical addition of the next generation of little bunnies.
One of my favorite things about this batch of bunnies is this one. Check out that face. Personally, it looks to me like it has a fantastic mustache!
This one is their mama, Polkadot. All the babies from this batch look pretty similar to her. Most are white with grey blotches, and one is white with natural colored blotches.
And to think, once all of these cute little bunnies were growing inside of their mama. These days, it would be a tough fit!
BRING ON SOME MORE CUTENESS AND JOY
Here are a few more photos for you all to enjoy. I wish that I could just place one of these little bunnies in your hands instead and let you enjoy it in person, but at least you can still check out these photos. It's still hard not to have them make you happy (or happier), even if they are just photos! Enjoy!
As always, I'm @papa-pepper and here's the proof:

Rabbit manure 😂 😂 😂
Good stuff!
those do indeed look the cutest...
I have seen you trade them away but are they primarily kept as meat animals since it is a homestead after all?
and how do the little peppers deal with that seeing those animals grow up from ultimate cuteness to ending up in the pot?
we used to have rabbits when i was young and I kinda knew what they were there for but still ate them but my sister did/could not
We used to eat them, but have moved away from that. For now they provide manure (and joy) and something to sell or trade if need be.
I have never eaten them, is there a reason that you moved away from that?
I imagine you sell them for either meat or pets. Here in Colombia the pelts are also a nice saleable good.
Actually it is because we are looking into Old Testament dietary law.
May God Bless you and your family!
Thanks man!
Yes, they are cute, but they are some of the best tasting meat you will ever have! Just don't give them names...
They are very small animals and they are very cute I know the people who do not love animals they also love rabbits they have really a great talent that in the absence of sufficient food material they eat their own produced waste material as always your post is awesome @papa-pepper
Hello, my friend. Raising rabbits is always fun, and I will never forget the first time I saw a rabbit in the meat section in a store in Germany. They are huge, and look more like a side of beef. If you got some of those, the little peppers should be able to ride them, what do you think?
I think so!
I have a friend who raises them "for meat." Yeah... she has eaten a few. Turns out that "cute" factor can become a bit of a problem...
Snake food :) #food #agriculture #lifecycle #foodchain #snake
Yeah, I remember that!
Aweee...they are so cute!! Thanks for sharing these papa-pepper!!

Such an overdose of sweetness! Your little ones are so fortunate to have those kinds of responsibilities. By the way, the bunny next to your daughter's pink sweatshirt looks he is doing a Christmas selfie with reindeer antlers. Lol!
These sure are beautiful bunnies! I love the little moustaches. They remind me of Hercule Poirot. lol The little peppers are sure enjoying these babies. You have just given me the incentive to finish making a rabbit hutch. I need to have a few for myself...
Mantap 👍 @papa-pepper
Haha those things are everywhere. What do you use the bunnies for on the farm?

We had a bunny a couple of years ago. It was a house pet and Abbi liked it. The in house thing did not work for me so I found him a new home. They are the cutest.
Rabbits are cute it is amazing that they would ever be able to survive in the wild but they are fast little critters.
çok tatlı tavşan ama herkes gibi sıradan yorum yapmak istemiyorum malatya pütürge de çok tavşan var ama bilinçsizce avlanma yüzünden nesli tükenmekte maalesef
Oh yeah, they are really very sweet @papa-pepper!
I love this photo here:
Hi, papa! I need you advice about rabbits.
We also tried to replicate them at home this year. But apparently there was a crazy mother-bunny. After the birth of small rabbits, she scattered them in a cage, stomped over them. She began tear out the fluff and make a nest only a day after the appearance of her kids.
We did not interfere in the process, because experienced rabbit breeders say that you can not touch the little rabbits, otherwise the rabbit-mom will leave them. In the end all the little died.
The female was 5-6 months old, the first mating, a bowl with water in a cage was set. Can you tell me what else could be the reason? Or she was just a bad mother?
This is not uncommon with first time mothers. Sometimes, they will even eat their young. If you wait a while and try again, chances are that you will have better results.
Too cute! I once had a rabbit that had babies, and when they were newly born they were pink and jelly-like, a bit like king prawns.
On my 21st birthday (a long time ago) my parents took me out for a meal, and I had rabbit. It tasted very bland. About a year after that, I stopped eating meat.
So cute rabbit 😍😍😍😍
Oh they are so cute, we have recently rescued two bunnies so I have a soft spot for them! Thank you for sharing your beautiful bunnies!
adorable! Love the colors.
Oh, they are very sweet!!
Yes they are! Thanks @brimwoodfarm!
Oh my WORD!!! I am literally sitting here with tears in my eyes. I used to have a pet bunny when I was younger and they are SO soft and sweet. <3 <3 <3 what a lovely post and such happy making photos!
I am glad that you were touched by the cute bunnies and that they brought back some wonderful memories for you!
It's so cute, good post
Thank you. They are very, very cute indeed!
Nice shots, brings out all the cuteness and fluffiness of those furballs. I missed having those around the house, I used to have a dozen before I met my wife, but after we got married and she moved in I have to sadly get rid of them since my wife's asthmatic and she'll have asthma attacks all day due to the fur.
Oh no! Good choice though, keep the wife and get rid of the rabbits!
Lol, yeah, never regretted anything.

They are cute, that's for sure! Especially those with the little mustaches - and when they are all lined up in those little boxes. I wonder how many you will end up with over time! :D
We've had a lot already, that's for sure. If you've got a moment, are you on steemit.chat?
Thanks for the heads-up. I hadn't been on Steemit.chat for so long. You should have an answer there now. Thanks a bunch!
Yet another animal banned in India for noone knows why! :-(
Really? I guess I did not even realize that certain animals were "banned in India."
well, there are two three different type of ban I guess. 1. hunting is not allowed to protect wild animals which is logical 2. Rabits - owning / growing them is banned based on what I don't know 3. having pets like birds and aquarium fish is banned though not implemented yet to avoid the cruelty to them 4. Cows slaughter is banned as they are considered holy animals.
he is too cute ^^
I agree!
They are so cute it hurts! I won't be showing my girlfriend this post... I don't want her getting any ideas! :-P
