I still think it shouldn't consider if you invest in the ecosystem, i mean if i would buy 4000 hive worth of sps would this be leech?

That could be a nice chat in a bar. I have many thoughts about that!
Every case is a case. For example if I found out that you have a KE 9, I wouldn't tag you as a leech before checking out whats going on. I did an analysis of many users a while ago and I played with the KE a while ago to try to adjust it with math, probably you saw the post since we talk a lot. ALL users with high very high KE the main destination is out of the blockchain. Power downs and direct transfers are included in the package. But let's say it happens what you says. I am also a L2 investor I am a pretty degen crypto fan so I like div tokens and LPs and I find Hive L2 with interesting opportunities!
Taking into account a user with KE 9 because they transferred everything to Hive-Engine to gaming or even doing trades (I know people that do that). This user is indeed using projects built under the Hive blockchain. But on the other hand he supports ONLY these projects that were built within the Hive technology. Since they have a high KE that means that they are getting HIVE rewards and spending in GAMES and other CENTRALIZED projects. That creates also a type of vicious circle. The best one is Splinterlands, people get HIVE rewards from posting about the game every week, and they spend everything in NFTs from the project. Where this Hive goes? Usually, the owner of the project will spend! so we aren't contributing in making Hive more valuable doing that. We are having fun and getting profits with L2 opportunities, but we are focusing on ourselves not in the Hive value. The only value that these projects bring is the onboarding. SPT for sure was the project that made most onboarding to the blockchain. Read the topic 3 .
But again it is VERY VERY VERY Rare someone with a high KE that spent HIVE internally in the L2. Most of the people who jumps on the L2 they are also staking Hive. Because it is something automatic, a person that believes in a game or project from the L2 for sure believes on Hive and wants to stake some. Because, if Hive dies... the project that this person loves will die too!
You have good points, the only objection on point 2 would be if you buy from p2p market, like cards market, or l2 token on hive engine, then it's not going directly to the company but to an other player like you, and then you lose track of the money 😅
btw I don't think steemmonsters should make the contests it does and give out so many hive rewards for copycat and useless posts, because most of the times it's trash content, better to read random actifit posts...
Point 3 is true for me too 😅
