Why You Should Work FAST!

Many of us take our times and allow ourselves to be perfectionists, But what if that wasn't the best way to go about doing your best work? Working extremely fast has many benefits that most wouldn't expect.

We Can Only Concentrate For So Long

Haven't you noticed, As time goes by? You become less and less productive? And become more tired, You may even get distracted easier.
Our brains are limited on how long we can concentrate for. And while breaks can help refresh our brain, Sometimes we need to work as fast as we can to take advantage of our brain power.

They say that the first few hours after you wake up are your most productive. So Take advantage of that.

More Breaks

Allowing yourself to take a FULL break away from your work, Will allow you to rest and get back to work, Often we spend all day working, But the quality of our work isn't as good.
Instead, we are only partially here mentally throughout the day.
Giving yourself full breaks, Allows you to charge at your work. Working fast will give you more times for breaks.

Finish The Mindless Work FAST!

I don't know about you, But I find that there is a lot of mindless and easy work I have to do every day. When we speed through this, It allows us to get to the stuff that requires a higher level of thinking.
We often underestimate how much mindless work we may have to do, And how time-consuming it can quickly get. I can easily upload shirts all day long, And not get anything else done. Then I find myself looking for something more mentally stimulating. Because uploading shirts can be something that is dull.
So finish that mindless work fast.

Correct Later

With many things, We don't need to do 100% perfect job right away. We can go back and correct. One example of this Would be your rough draft of your Steemit post. You can go back and fix the mistakes.
There are things that you can't "rush" through. That requires more precision. But there are a lot of things where a "quick" job. Is good enough to meet our goals. That sometimes getting more done is more important than quality. But this isn't the case with everything. If you can go back and correct your imperfections, Sometimes this is the faster way to do it. When I upload shirts I do something similar to this; I don't update the pricing or The "brand name" until I'm ready to submit the product. Then I can quickly open up 100 windows, And with a program, I use, Automatically adjust the pricing and the brand name for me. Because of this, I don't have to do a 100% job on each one to move onto the next shirt. Instead, I'm doing everything in "batches."

I wish I could male a draft of life to go back to and fix 😉 hehe.
But getting the bulk done first amd coming back to fix stuff is the way to go.

RIGHT? LOL!
Hehe it is! Batching is the best.

"The Zone" doesn't last forever. I agree, work fast when the spark is there else you'll never get to your full potential!

Exactly! Take advantage of the zone lol

i love to read this kinds of notivational speech

thank's to share.

resteem done

Great informative post. Lots of great stratagies. I agree with the point that getting things done earlier then later works for me. I like getting my morning cup of coffee and getting to it. Also because I am a visual person I like to make a list of achievable tasks I intend to do over the course of the day. As I finish each task I cross it off helps me keep the focus and I know actually what has and hasn't not been done. Works for me as I get up at the crack of dawn by noon I usually have all I set up to do is done my noon and I have the rest of the day to do whatever I want. Now I am semi retired and work from home so this works for me may not work with everyone.

It took me over a decade to realize this… but by being present! Do this and you will achieve nothing less than a super power!

My most often repeated phrase/problem to myself was always “I need more time”.

It turns out that was false. I would be working on A, while thinking about B, C & D.

1–2 years ago I began mindfulness practice. Exercising my ability, my mental muscle, to be able to recognize intruding thoughts immediately and discard them as quickly as they came!

You’d be surprised how much you can accomplish in a short period of time if you are able to focus and be present!

I would suggest trying the same. Start by doing 5 minutes of mindfulness practice in the morning, with either the Calm or Headspace app (or another of your choosing).

View it as a muscle, that you’ve never worked out, but after you do, you’re going to attain a super power!

It is about making you think from a different perspective..
Excellent post good analyses thanks for sharing.

An addendum to your past post and this one accompanies more exhortation. A debt of gratitude is in order for sharing. @kaylinart

Thanks and success is your @kaylinart...

good writting...
great to share the great concept....

@resteemed

Thank you :)

you are welcome

great post

how do one ensure quality working fast? Edit later isnt always an option.

Thats why I recommend only doing it on things you can edit later.

That makes sense.

An addendum to your previous post and this one comes with more advice.

With many things, We don't need to do 100% perfect job right away. We can go back and correct. One example of this Would be your rough draft of your Steemit post. You can go back and fix the mistakes.

I like the way you still added this, showing that they're certain things you can't just rush through but have to, take a break, rest and refresh yourself and memory and then get back to doing it more better, with precision and energy.

Thanks for sharing this educative post. It complements your previous post and summarizes it pretty well.
Looking forward to reading more good posts from you.

Happy Steeming

wow this is really nice
Such a wonderful and thankful work.. Actually....I'm always respect to your works

Yes they sure will be more productive and will sure be more effective !
While doing the work while you have all the focus will indeed make the work more perfect !
Sure will try it next time with more caution !

I have missed your writing. I always look forward to it. The way we walk, that's how our brain works.

I usually take my time and don't rush with anything, and yea the longer i take the bigger chance that i will get distracted or just get tired. In my opinion we need to find some kind of balance, don't rush things but also don't overthink:)

Well its wonderful article and very nice information steeming @kaylinart
Excellent project shared with steemian community, social life must be important instead of selfish.
All the best

I’m glad to see you back!
Working fast with top quality is very valuable in any individual.
I always say “work fast, but don’t make a mistakes”

I believe that rest at work should be for 15 minutes, every 2-2.5 hours plus lunch. then the working capacity will increase

thanks for the suggestions

No problem

I would like to add: value small things in your life because this is what gives you the most needed positive energy to cope with the fast paced life:

Many of us take our times and allow ourselves to be perfectionists, But what if that wasn't the best way to go about doing your best work? Working extremely fast has many benefits that most wouldn't expect.

Good job @kaylinart.

Life is too short to enjoy it's peak in anyway. So, there is need to do all things with quick approach towards life. A life full of ease is not really a good life, actually miseries let us know the real meaning of happiness.
So, basically it is the mixture of both aspects. We can make it amazing if we stay at contributing may be a little bit at our own ends. Just like you stated

I don't know about you, But I find that there is a lot of mindless and easy work I have to do every day. When we speed through this, It allows us to get to the stuff that requires a higher level of thinking

Thank you so much for putting a huge motivation in me to confront the life in a more super way ;)

Stay Blessed, Steem On!

adequate rest can maximize the work, a job can not we force, if forced would not result maximum and not perfect, a good enlightenment from you

cool There are many details as a painting

Completely agree!
Timing and accuracy is really what matters at the end of the day.
Great post!
Keep the great work!

The key to your successful job search is your ability to stand out differentiate yourself from others.

You should identify what sets you apart from other candidates. Specifically you should be able to speak about your success and unique experiences. You should keep your self open but not desperate. You should open yourself to different fields that are of interest to you not narrowing yourself down to just a field. This does not mean desperation.

Thanks for sharing this post, i appreciate this writing.... all the best..dear..

Everyone shouldnt waste time. Every work should be done fastly.thank u..

Very motivitional... good motivation and inspiration espesially for me how I should work fast...
Thank you very much @kaylinart...
Success is always for you...
I like it your all...

Maintaining peak performance is simply impossible, it doesn’t matter how much discipline the person has.

But the tricks you use to speed up the process are great, depending on the job we do there will always be little “tweaks” we can add to our routine so we can acomplish more in the same time.

Yeah rest is really important
Thank you @kaylinart for the tips

A very amazing participant looking attractive 👌

Agreed @kaylinart !! I know when I am writing at my most proficient is when I let the thoughts come naturally and fairly quickly.

Get it out and then go back for editing

Human beings have the shortest attention span imaginable. It’s only getting worse in this current age of instant gratification thanks to technology.

Thanks for getting some insights in your mindset. I really enjoyed reading!

Better is the enemy of good.
In my opinion that is a skill soneone has to learn - not always do 100% only where it is really necessary. Otherwise you get lost in the all day on world we are living in.

A slower worker doesn't just reduce a team’s productivity — he can also hurt his colleagues’ morale, says Lindsay Mc Gregor, the co author of Primed to Perform and co-founder of Vega Factor.

Helpful post. Thank you for the great article.

@kaylinart you do put out some interesting points here. First of all if the work you are doing is not enjoyable then you are doing the wrong thing. Find your passion and it will NEVER feel like Work.......................

A very clever article. You are absolutely right when using the pomedoro system, the results are much better.

Очень умная статья. Вы абсолютно правы, когда использую работу по системе pomedoro, результаты намного лучше.

Working fast is really good. if we finish our work early we get more time to do other things . But we do so fast that we don't what will be the result. after done the job we found big mistake. I think before we do we should have think first. then work fast. Thanks for shoring this informative post @kaylinart

The old thought of not touching things twice being the most efficient way to work typically is incorrect. By doing your work in batches and completing a process you make less mistakes and work much more efficiently then trying to change your thought process from say creative to analytical.

Great post!

These are great tips. I am guilty of losing concentration and not taking enough breaks. I also tend to try and focus on too many tasks all at once, making it hard to give sufficient focus to one at a time!

(P.S. How do I find your t-shirts on Amazon? :D).

I have read in the review of the bestselling book "high performance habit" that high performers take 40-60 minutes break between each important work. It helps you to recharge and start a new work fresh. I always try to do that, and works amazingly :D

good posts easy to understand. oa friend if had time to stop by my blog hope me you will find something you looking there. thank you
@kopong

Heck I take power naps throughout the day. It's essential for me.

Thank @kaylinart for the great post :)

It's good to hear from you once again!
Yesterday, I had an example when I needed to be fast. Ideas come pouring so I needed to put them into writing as soon as I can. The good thing is, it worked!

will i always like you post each time you post ... there is so much to learn nice post loved it

Working fast would make my life so much better , for some reason I focus on one task and try to make it perfect before moving on . For me , perfection and consistency is key 🔑
