This one is an IPA, the second is an Imperial Stout. I don't often compare the giggly pale beers against the doughty darks but I thought that in this case as they were both coffee based, why not?
This one is from a Glasgow brewer using coffee beans from a Glasgow coffee roaster. It's doesn't get any better than that! Come on the Glasgow's!!
A fine pour here. A trembling amber gold. Almost brown gold. I like it. A lacy froth of a head on top. Looks champion.

Oh man, that was rank. I mean I am trying to be kind but piling a load of bitter coffee on top of bitter hops isn't quite shaking my merengue.
If it was a coffee or it was a beer then either would be fine but not together so regretfully... 4/10 booms! Sorry fellow Glaswegians.

This one is a bloody monster. 10% ABV!? And it's another beer/coffee collaboration. I have only just noticed that it has been aged in whisky barrels too. Well, well, the price didn't suggest so. Maybe I got a bargain!

It looks like a coffee!! Ha, it really does. It has that black coffee look about it, it is fair fizzing up too in the glass, like sherbet poured in oil.

Man, this is lovely. Deep toasted malt and caramel mellowed by vanilla followed by the roasted coffee and whisky fumes. What can I say but...

So the shop that was shite had something decent after all. can't believe you still carried on drinking the crappy one this week and didn't water the garden instead. I like the bit about a witches tit and don't know where you come up with these things. Maybe it is your wifes friend getting to your imagination again.
