We dont write these things to govern us, we cannot rule every aspect of our life because some things dont depend on us, but that small portion dt depends on us we try to do it well
We write these things to improve our selves, to grow, to become better versions of ourselves.
A book (48 Laws of power) called it Re-creating ourself.
I think we owe it to ourselves and the universe to be the best we can be, and one of the ways we can track our progress is by writing it down...on paper(or note app 😀)
You are still saying people write resolutions which i never disputed. You claim why they wrote it was to better themselves which my post also mentioned. The crux of this post is are these things fulfilled? How many have been able to carry out those things in 'paper'? If they were meant to guide them, how come some repeat same thing as @sbamsoneu rightly said?
How do you think a tailored way of living ever works? I will do this 'thick', i will not do this 'cancel'!! Isn't that funny? What percentage of your resolutions have you been able to fulfill @sussan
Maybe you havent met people who stick to theirs, I have them as friends and it keeps me going.
most of them are better than me actually.
I can say I've done 50%.
I came across an old jotter in april and was really impressed with myself
Lols! A tailored life... I can't imagine what is was like. 50% still not good you know 😂
Thanks for your contribution.
I think 50% is good compared to the people you talking about who dont go through
Maybe it has something to do with being realistic.
For eg, I like to drink, I cant just write no drinking entirely, I'd write something like, drink once a week, twice in a month, smtn like dt. Habits dont disappear like that.
Sorry for talking plenty, this was kinda sensitive to me
Lols! You still haven't told the readers if such things have been fulfilled, can be fulfilled and how?
Thanks.
I told you how already...
