RE: Handmade And Hand Painted Ceramics For MarketFriday

in #marketfriday โ€ข 6 years ago

Oh, your dad. That's funny. My dad was very clumsy too. If you wanted to break something, just hand it to him. ๐Ÿ™‚
Do you know how I learned the correct form? One of our managers (British guy) was doing many stupid things so someone had to step in and do something about it). With my colleagues blessings, I started a conversation with the guy. Shortly, the discussions took a nasty path and I told him he is like an elephant in a china store. He started to shout saying that he is not an elephant but a person with weight problems. So I looked up the expression and found the correct version and the explanations. ๐Ÿ˜‚

My dad is not clumsy, he just don't care or can't or won't pay attention. I guess it comes with age.
He broke 3 glasses in a second and so on ๐Ÿ˜
I told him from now on I'm going to give him only plastic things or rubber things ๐Ÿ˜‹
Good to know about the bull, next time imv with foreigners I'm not going to make this mistake ๐Ÿ˜‰

Poor fellow. Breaking glasses or plates is considered to bring good luck. So why punishing him for this great initiative? Plastic or rubber would not have the same effect. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Tell me about it! ๐Ÿ˜‚
