What interesting new songs or albums were released or were topping the charts on September the 21st in the history of music? What has happened on this day in the music universe? I apologize in advance that my view is quite narrow since I only know and follow western music.
In 2004 Green Day released their rock opera album "American Idiot" which was also successful at the theater.
Ps: I am a big Green Day fan.
In 1974 Bachman-Turner Overdrive released "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet".
In 1963 Martha and the Vandellas had a top R&B chart hit with "Heat Wave".
Please remember that these artists and songs are my personal choices and are not always what you would consider a great hit. OK, most of the time they are.
