Ever since I was a kid I had this passion to achieve monetary success. Because my father was never able to provide our family with as much as we needed. I decided that when I'll have kids that they will be able to have whatever they want. Not to spoil them with gifts, or anything like that. Just to be able to live a normal life without the restrictions of not having enough money for something.

To achieve that I've been constantly thinking about a business I can start, or an idea that would make a lot of money. Nedless to say, in a country where corruption is key and you need connections in high places to be able to achieve something and without no money to invest, I was stuck for years. Not being able to make a single cent from my ideas. Had a great deal of great ideas but, no way to achieve them. And my partents not supporting me in all of this didn't help at all.

But then I found out about Steemit. While watching a DollarVigilante on youtube he mentioned that Steemit. I instantly made an account, which I got the next day. 17 moons after, I own 6300 SP and there is no stopping me! I'm going to earn my way up to 10k in the near future, 20k in a year and 50k+ in the next couple of years.

My dream now, is to be able to earn enough STEEM before the price  moons, so that when it finally does, I can earn enough money to support myself only through rewarding others and collecting curation rewards.

Fun fact: I'm a 23 and live in the capital city of Croatia, Zagreb.

Same here. I don't wanna be poor like my parents. They existed and didn't live. While all my friends were going to the states for the summer I was at home working. My kids will be going on the trips !

6300SP in 17 months wowww!

I'm kind of the same in terms of my goal here on Steem, accumulate as much SP as possible before the price starts to recover back to $8+ lol I could only hope that it really will go back to when I first stumbled upon this platform.

Good luck!:)

Quite proud of you , especially of your determination and how you are going about it.

Keep striving! Keep moving!!

I'm gonna say my passion and love for Anime and Video Games.

I can still remember when I first started to gain interest in these two. For Anime it started when our local tv channels were showing filipino-dubbed anime series. I was honestly fascinated back then by these kind of shows because I've always dreamed of having super powers of my own and play the role of the villain. Lol until now I am 25 and I still watch Anime :)

For video games it started when our neighour opened up a computer cafe next to our house. I could still vividly remember how I used to wake up very early so I could go play in the computer shop. Early to rise early to play makes me a verry happy kid back then.

Anime is bae. Never stop watching brother. Don't you ever stop. Otakus for life

One thing I've always had the passion for is reading. Ever since I was a kid, I have been a voracious reader. From the fairytale books my parents would read to me at night, to the children's encyclopedia with all the pictures and fun facts, my parents would tell me how I would make them read it to me, all the time. And this was before I could even read by myself.

By the time I learned how to read, I was already reading all the books available in the house. Because this was before the Internet was commonplace, I ended up reading some books more than once. So, to encourage my love of reading, my parents would always buy me new books or get our relatives to lend me theirs. Eventually, I graduated from fairy tales and stories to reading poems and classic novels.

Today, my love for reading has only grown. Now, I read everything from crime thrillers to fantasy, and non-fiction to science fiction. And while reading started out as merely a good way to pass the time as a kid, these days, my love for reading has helped me out in so many ways. It has been a constant source of new knowledge and continued learning. It has also helped boost my confidence in my abilities to talk to others, share my ideas, and understand other's ideas better.

Learning and knowledge.

I still try to learn at least one new thing every day. Doesn't have to be anything big or life changing, I just want to be able to go bed thinking hey thats something I didnt know when i woke up this morning.

From as far back as I can remember, I've a passion for agriculture. I'm a Nigerian and once when I was about 7 or 8, I planted a yam. It was the first thing I'd ever planted. It grew and it's stalk was really really long and I managed it as best an inexperienced 8 year old could. but towards harvest time, someone cut it down and it broke my heart. Since then, I've wanted to be a farmer. Nigeria isn't supposed to be a poor country, but the people are hungry, money is scarce and food is getting costlier by the day. I want to do something about it. I want to grow everything that can be grown in the country and eventually, be able to provide for the nation. That's my passion
