I would love to get some hands on more steem, but no way am I paying a 37% premium, + the fact I live in Canada premium ON TOP of that. That is like a 60% fee premium.

Just enter the amount in USD you want spend for STEEM and follow the buying process. I hope it will be pretty clear for you. You can pay for STEEM with Canadian debit/credit card. CAD will be converted automatically to USD by your bank. In case of any troubles feel free to ask for help.
