Barely Moved, Imagine What It Would Have Been Without The Flags? 7%?
This amount of abuse is just extreme. 3.98% with a yearly income of $4.68 million? And that does not include if the price of Steem goes up, this number could get a lot bigger.
https://steemworld.org/@haejin
What does this mean for you? You could be losing out on rewards because of a few people getting a bulk of the rewards for possibly spending less time, less effort, less work, and less creativity, than you do.
It is beyond easy to analyze certain coins, and in a market where everything goes up, it is hard not to be right. There are websites where people share, for free there analysis on current coins.
Just like your relationship problem, ignoring it won’t make it go away.
Don't know anything about what I am talking about? Go here where I explain the disproportionate amount of the reward pool that is flowing to one single person.

Do you understand your keys?
Your Steem Wallet and You
Who's fault is it tho, is it Haejin's?. I'm just saying.
You know, my portfolio has significantly increased thanks to @haejin's analysis, but I promise I will also do my best to understand where you're coming from. UpVoted!
Thanks man, I am not asking to make it so he doesn't make anything. But just something more rationally proportional to the rest of the community.
The reward pool has a finite amount of Steem in it, with more being added at a predetermined and set rate. This means that someone taking 4% is taking any possible gains away from someone else.
Meaning we could be destroying Steems chance to grow by keeping large amounts of awards in one individual. Currently, under development and still growing, money is what keeps brand new people before they get a chance to grow and become part of the community. It is also one of the big reasons most people are here and not using some other source of social media.
One of the greatest parts about Steem is the ability to grow all sorts of communities, with people driving conversation through money. Money makes them want to post, which makes them communicate ideas and thoughts. Other people want rewards so they comment and try to communicate and make friends further sharing ideas, and wealth.
If the incentive is gone, so is that new idea. So is the potential of STEEM and another crypto will come along to take its rightful place like Facebook did to Myspace.
This has NOTHING to do with Haejin. This is a decision based on the long term health of the platform. Which inevitably will help anybody who invested in Steem. Perhaps someone who bought 1.3 million?
I feel @Haejin of all people could understand and analyze the situation and know that it is not healthy for the platform or the investment he has in STEEM for individuals to make that much. At that rate, 30 individuals at 2 percent is already 60% of the reward pool. That is horrible to try to sell to any investor who could find other alternatives.
Thanks for the friendly comment. :]
Exactly! Getting high payouts is awesome. But doing 10-20 posts a day on analysing crypto market of which if you machine gun the top 20 coins last year in January you would've made in December x88.
Makes everyone a professional analyst doesn't it?
Then why don't you do it too?
This is the idiocy of these arguments.
Your are bitching about a design of the system.
The one thing we can all take out of it is he has a successful formula for making money. Do you think that this is not EXACTLY what steemit Inc. have designed and are content with? I can guarantee you that @haejin would be use as an exemplar account for all the backroom talks and deals that are currently going on in relation to SMTs.
MONEY IN + SYSTEM = HUGE REWARDS.
berniesanders is a lost cause pushing shit uphill.
HAEJIN WON THIS LONG AGO.
I think everyone's portfolio has gone up in value in the last year - unless you did something really silly...
Yeah, I still managed to lose some BTC otherwise I would have more 😁
I knew already before I like you but now you just got what you deserve.
Lol i made my own predictions being a noob and made huge gains without relying on any TA.
I did mention SiGNIFICANTLY, like from $6,000 to $1.2 mil?
Haejin joined mid 2017 though..
Precisely my point, I also did good without TA 😊
Ah i see
Since December 2016 😊
Kudos to you in making that much. It's a shame i didn't invest in 2016. Anything back then would have given massive gains..
What exactly can be done about this? Just flag him? That doesn't really sound fair. Are normal people upvoting his posts or is he just botting everything? I agree that making THAT much from so many posts seems like abuse but if thats what people uvpote isn't it kinda fair?
There is one account adding most of the value.
Sorry i did not know that. Seems like a pretty bad exploit on the site...
Yeah, not sure how to fix it. I have thought about a percentage cap. One account can't make more than 1% of the pool or whatever that percentage would be.
But then someone could just make multiple accounts. =\
Most of his rewards, more than 90%, are from one single account.
And one of the reasons for flagging is disagreement over rewards. It is 100% fair. But I don't think flagging is the complete fix.
I did know that. To me it seemed like he was just extremely popular with many people voting for him. Is that basically like me having a friend with a huge votewight voting for every one of my posts? Correct?
Yes, but the 4% of the pool takes away from the ability to grow other individuals on Steem which lessons the ability for Steem to grow.
Now let's say 10 people do this at 3% a piece. That is 30% of the finite pool that can't just grow bigger because we want it to. That hurts the overall health of Steem and can be its downfall. The idea is to make Steem last. :]
Also, I have made other posts but, he has random times where a ton of accounts just go through and up vote EVERY post he makes. Systematically, one account at a time, not overlapping with votes. Almost like a script is up voting him. These accounts are shell accounts that have never done anything, all they have is the amount of SP the steem block chain gave them, and all they do is up vote Haejin.
There are also TONS of accounts that ONLY ever post on Haejin stuff. he has thousands of accounts that somehow ONLY exist within his Haejin circle. I find that to be extremely improbable as, I would hope, anyone who joins Steemit would also branch out into other users. Not just ONE user. It doesn't make sense.
Also, again, Rancho should be up voting multiple people, not just himself and Haejin. It wouldn't make sense for a whale to not up vote anyone else. I believe Rancho is Haejin. He would have the ability, if he is as good as he says, to make tons of crypto and buy 1.3 million Steem back during the summer.
If he is rancho and is up voting himself, cool, whatever. Don't hide it.
There is just a lot of sketchy things around this WHOLE situation, and I personally feel we are not being given the full truth, or the whole story.
Just my honest opinion.
I will say again as I have been saying, I don't care how much money he makes. I care what % of the pool he is taking from other deserving Steemians.
Yep. As a new user it seems like the only way to grow big is to have big friends who vote for you. Still as of now im not interested only in just making money on SteemIt but im more interested in the way it works and what makes it tick. I hope i can power up my account to a level where my vote is more than like 0.005$. Still thank you for info on this topic and sharing some fixes. Im really interested in when SteemIt self will try to do something about it.
Definitely. I am glad a new Steemian is asking for clarification and getting involved on the platform.
You will eventually get up to the point where your up vote is worth more!
You can try using @ocd or the tag ocd-resteem if you are a struggling new user who would like some love. It is ran by @acidyo who puts in a lot of time and personal voting power to help out minnows grow and get a foot in the platform!
Well said, well fuckin' said my man. . Rawdawg couldn't have make it more clear himself. And he is a pretty smart Dawg! :)
Like, the only thing he has to do, is to post less...Why is it so hard for him?
because $$$ why else lol
Yeah, I get that, but who really needs $2500+ a day
Maybe he has a very big family that he needs to feed.
Holy shit, well, I guess I was being ignorant...
LOL
If i made a "predict the number" 10 times everyday, and only I knew the number, and predicted right each time! Would you all upvote me so I could get 100+ on each post?
Its basicly whats being done...
@biasnarrative this is a good post... i like your post ...i am upvoted your this post..thanks for sharing.. @emonnaim01
This is the only thing I can call SELFISHNESS.
This is called the capitalist system.
No. Whales are a communistic idea, which is why it is strange that the creators is this platform, being anarcho-capitalists, would use them.
Only the gamification one makes sense, but it's automated and can't be and issue because of that.
@biasnarrative Such a great article This is my quest to follow the whales.. No matter how hopeless
Unless we are going to start talking about doxing them, and taking this to real life, its all academic. Theres only so much we can do on the internet. Why dont we create a bounty reward for information leading his real identity and location? Then we engage him civilly in real life and apply pressure there, be it through litigation or other means.
My fear with doxxing is that is what happened to @themarkymark. Doxxing has also caused swatting in the past which caused the death of an innocent man in Kansas.
Basically, the internet is dangerous and doxxing someone when it comes to emotions doesn't seem like the greatest idea. But I can't control what others want to do haha. I just wouldn't recommend it.
Well, we have to decide whether or not what he's doing is a real attack on the community. Either it's an attack on the community or it isn't. Breaking into someone's house at night is dangerous too. Ideally you just scare the burglar off and he runs away, but it doesn't always work out that. Doxxing very rarely leads to violence. There's maybe 1 and a million chance something like that happens. Swatting is video gamer thing, There's only 100,000 active Steem users, maybe 500 actually care about this topic. It doesn't sound like your're really serious about solving this problem. It's just something to blog about I guess. You want to treat it, but not cure it.
I want to fix the problem by not doxxing. I don't understand how doxxing would help. He could be in Korea for all we know. He could hide in his house, never come out, and keeping making his millions.. doxxing won't stop the issue. He isn't doing anything illegal. Just something people don't agree with. Something needs to change on the blockchain or community level.
Most people don't even know what's going on cause they don't want to read about, "The Drama." They need to wake up and realize this is an actually issue.... And try to think of something.
I have an idea of capping rewards to people at 1% or less... But then they can just make another account.
Another user made a post that could change the reward system but could also be gamed. We need a way to do it where the system can't be gamed. And I currently don't have an answer yet. But it is at the forefront of my mind.
Alright we'll drop the doxing. I'll let you know if I come up with anything else.
Hey man, I appreciate your thoughts on this. I consider anybodies ideas to have merit right now because I don't know the answer.
I had decided not to post my cap idea because of the loophole it still has, but maybe I will and see if anybody has any notes to help make the idea better. I will also find that link by someone else who thought of a new reward system and post that for him so people can see what his thoughts were.
I honestly believe if enough people communicate there ideas, we can come to a conclusion that will benefit the Steem platform and everybody who uses it!
Yeah sorry for getting a little heated. We're all on the same team trying to do what's best for the community. I really appreciate you keeping me and the community informed on this. We'll keep working together to try and find a solution.

It is just unreal at this point, @Ned can you not do anything about this? There must be some way to enforce this abuse, 100s of whales > Haejin.
Is there any way to list the top reward pool earners? Very curious if haejin is by himself making such a high percent of the reward pool or if there are other users raking in comparable percentages?
I have wondered this same question as of late @thedeceiver. If I can find out I will let you know.
If you find out, could you let me know as well? It would be possibly to write your own program. I may do that eventually. But I just started full time my new job and I have been a little swamped getting use to my new routine.
Will do for sure.
Wow great information buddy :)
help me pls
No problem, here is a lifesaver.
Laugh out loud, probably your relationship problems xD xD xD.... If you want to get bigger rewards then post better content, haha I can't believe what I'm seeing, the jeaulousy on steemit is real! Let the haters hate and the lovers love.... Lol PS haejin is giving his analysis away for free, numnut.... And the COMMUNITY UPVOTES HIM FOR It.... But hey whatever, if you guys want to be greedy aswell go ahead
Look at the votes... Ranchorelaxo votes for him... the community you're speaking of doesn't have much vote value. His post makes 450-500$ 10-15 times a day and all of them has 350$ ranchorelaxo upvote and a self-vote of haejin (90$) . A lot of people in the community are actually flagging it!
I'm pretty sure Ranchorelaxo can vote on who ever he wants to? Am I wrong?
Rancho votes 100% only on himself and Haejin which basically says to me, Haejin and Rancho are the same person. why would Rancho give all his money to ONE person when he owns such a large portion of Steem. He would either want to give it to himself, or spread it among money content creators. Instead, it is all about Haejin.
This has nothing to do with Jealousy. It has to do with the long term health of the platform. If you read AT ALL the comments or the post I linked in this post, you would understand that the PERCENTAGE of awards, not the overall sticker price in USD, is the problem.
It is bad for future growth and anybody who has any money in the game should see this as an issue.
Or, you can continue to attack people without trying to understand what they are saying.
Either way, thanks for participating in the discussion.
Lol they have all the right to do so..... That's how steemit was built.... Otherwise you won't have been able to have above a certain amount of steem... Because of that, and if I had a million bucs... It's very well my own damn business and my own damn choice where I would spend it... And besides I would have done the same if all the other big whales downvoted me.... Now matter how you play your cards.... Goodluck going against him.... Because the way it looks to me is all you suckers are losing xD xD xD hahaha lols!!!!.... And BTW I'm not going to read that whole paragraph which you wrote.... So Thnx for chipping into the conversation =).... And by the g@d d@mn way..... Go check all the positive comments on his posts, then you have the audacity to say that he doesn't have people voting on him... But that the majority are downvoting him... Oh please brother...
And besides any other points made that might be true or false....
WHY HAVENTT THE STEEMIT DEVELOPERS PUT A STOP TO IT, OR ATLEAST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE "PROBLEM"..... BECAUSE IT'S ALLOWED.....
????????
THAT'S LIKE ME BUYING A SUPERCOMPUTER AND HAVING 90% OF THE HASH RATES ON THE BITCOIN BLOCKCHAIN... HENCEFORTH GETTING 90% OF ALL BITCOINS MINED.... WOULD YOU GUYS ALSO PUT UP A FUZZ??????
For once, I really thought you had a genuine opinion.
But it is.... It's genuinely my opinion
The difference is that in mining bitcoin, you are a producer. When you accept rewards from Steem, you are a consumer. The rewards were produced long before you, I or haejin ever got here and if we left they would remain the same.
We all have a responsibility in deciding how those rewards are consumed. It is perfectly ok to downvote based on reward value. That is built into the design of steem to stop this exact scenario.
Jesus who are you
If one pool controlled about nore than 50% of the hashing power in bitcoin it would go though a huge hardfork or dox/petition tge perosn to give up the pool look what happened ghash.io
I see thnx
If you looked into the issue, read posts by an original developer @dan, you can't easily fix the issue.
The fact that you refuse to read my answers means you do not care about anything other than your own opinion. You only care about your @BiasNarrative and have absolutely no say in this conversation.
Have fun.
Lol and you have all the say? Ask yourself this if you had so much steem power... Wouldn't you also upvote yourself and put out 10 posts a day?... And if that answer is no, then well my friend you are not human... Because everyone wants to make money, and if I or any other person had that ability to do so, we would without second thought..... But obviously ignorance is bliss
And you are correct I have not gone into any research, I'm just stating my point of view from what I see is happening.... Because even if haejin's stops his self upvoting and ranco..... Everyone against him will still continue to downvote him, and then how should he fair against the other whales, if you understand what I'm trying to say....
I do fully understand your point of view and that all the facts are there, but dude come on haejin didn't start this?
@berniesanders makes way more!
This is the comment I left in his post, trust me it will get flagged to bits but sometimes people need to see the truth behind it all. He is simply drawing attention to other users so people won't notice his scammy activity.
The comment I left on his most recent post.
You really are the biggest hypocrite on Steemit aren't you?
You are making more than @haejin with all your scammy activities!
We know which accounts are yours.
@eatsrewards - Constantly upvoting and commenting people so that you can, in turn, upvote the comment with your bot accounts.
Then there is the ever big @rewardpool rape that comments on comments and also gets upvoted! Self voting king you are!
Currently, @rewardpoolrape made more SBD than @haejin for the last week! Over 1000SBD for doing nothing!
At least he is sharing some info where you are just passively sitting back and raping the pool with the money you made from upvote bots. Have you no shame?!
YES YES. I know this will get flagged by you, simply because you do not want others to see your dodgy activity on Steemit while you accuse others of doing the same. COWARD
I doubt he is making more but I can look it up when I get home.
Haejin has made more than 1000SP in the last week.
IDK why this has to be, oh @bernieSanders does bad things. The idea is that nobody should be doing bad things.
If I kill someone, and you kill someone, and say that I did it so its okay. It isn't. Both are still crimes.
Stop deflecting and look at the actual issue.
Ok
And I would love to see that, but rewardpoolrape doesn't even make 1/10th of what Haejin makes.
?I am currently looking for a tool that can show me the % of the reward pool by accounts, listed from top to bottom.
So how many people make over 1%?
How can I get an aggregate of every account somebody uses and add their percentage together.
I hate the fact that people try to bring up another bad actor to make their bad actions seem justified. It just means both people are in the wrong. It is exactly what people do in politics. Well, your guy does bad things to so I can vote for this PoS if you vote for that PoS.
In reality, you should vote for neither PoS and find somebody else who isn't a PoS.
But no, people are too stuck in there ways to see the negative affects there actions cause and they are stuck in their biased narrative with wanting to be right instead of realizing there is something wrong with the situation.
Just because someone is doing something bad, does not make them wrong. It just makes them a hypocrite. But you can't tell me that the amount Haejin is making, and the abuse his hard core followers that support him, AKA, @solisrex, is a good use of the platform and that it is helping the platform grow.
@berniesanders up votes random minnows sometimes. He comes into steemit.chat and asks people to send their post links to him and he will curate them. When does Haejin ever curate anything but himself?
You can dislike @berniesanders all you want, but there is positives to him. What are the positives of Haejin when it comes to helping the Steemit community?
Does he help Minnows grow their SP? Or does he take it all for himself and give none to others?
Seems like the latter option.
