1. Being a heterosexual is not a thing of choice, it's who we are.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE.

1. Occasionally some animals are attracted to members of the same sex, but most of the time they are heterosexual.
2. Given the increasing polarization in US politics, it's quite rare for any politician to express heterodox positions.
3. One might imagine that our guts contain a very uniform colony of bacteria for digesting food, but it turns out to be very heterogeneous.

I'd say it's getting virtually impossible for a politician to express heterodox positions. If they do, they're ignored, stifled, and blackballed.

1. It's believed in some quarter that being heterosexual is a better way to explore one's sexuality.
2. Ms. Jane is seen as a sinner by her family members because of her exhibition of some elements of heterodoxy.
3. Most International classes across various Universities comprises of heterogeneous students.

Re your use of "comprise," it does NOT need to be followed by "of." That's just a common misconception. Another common error is when people say or write "is comprised of."

Just use the verb "comprise," followed by the complement / object.

e.g.: "The book comprises five stories."

1. I guess a normal person is normally heterosexual based normally on my faith, knowledge and experience.
2. Heterodoxy feels like restless due to the fact of its definition.
3. A person may could be compared as heterogeneous I guess.

MY VOCAB PRACTICE

1. Heterosexual
   This body of work, whether in textbooks or simply on the web is very helpful for young women who are looking for role models to identify within a predominantly heterosexual world.
2. Heterodox
   Had the program been more open to critical and heterodox interpretations, it might have generated more passion among the viewers.
3. Heterogeneous
   The twins are heterogeneous in appearance and look nothing alike.
