Well, social media could be prejudicial if it's used just to consume trash content. At least Ecency/Hive is a good way to read and learn about interesting things while earning some rewards. Also, I'm practicing a new language here 🤭
I’m going to agree and disagree. I think where it’s used as a tool to figure things out and then do them yourself is where the tools are good. When it comes to creating AI slush, such as art and music, then that’s where I hate it. However if used as a research tool to help you get from A to V, then do X, Y and Z yourself, I have no qualms with that.

Yep brain rot is a great name for it! I only use AI tools for helping me learn about new programming tools and methods, as a replacement for Google searches which have become less reliable in recent years; I tend to find anyway.
This is why it’s important not to use it and socialise as much as possible offline.
I'm not against AI, I'm against the dependency we are developing towards it. And I say "we" because I do use it sometimes for specific tasks.

Brains are like muscles, right? They need to exercise, and AI isn't helping with that. That's what I mean.
