My country, Cuba, is a nation that, since its inception, has possessed a rich cultural identity linked to various nations. This union and its development in society created what is now known as the Cuban, a resilient and unwavering human being who fights at all times. Additionally, our joy and spontaneity have spread around the world in recent years, and thanks to this, many people have an idea of what Cubans are like, as the Internet became widely accessible to the population on the island after 2010. Our flag, in terms of composition, is simple compared to others, but what stands out the most is the freshness it evokes when seen and the meaning of its colors. The white represents the purity of our ideals, the red symbolizes the blood shed during the wars for independence, the blue represents our sky, and the three stripes also represent the departments into which Cuba is divided. Therefore, the star is a symbol of the sovereignty of our nation.
My flag. The red is the blood shed for obtaining independence. Blue and white the provinces and pureness. The star 🌟 ideals of freedom, fraternity, unity.
The flag of Cuba is the only one in the world that combines three specific elements:
A red equilateral triangle on the side of the mast, symbol of equality, blood shed for independence and the revolutionary struggle.
A white five-pointed star inside the triangle, representing absolute freedom and unity of the Cuban people.
**Five alternating horizontal stripes (three blue and two white), the blue ones symbolizing the three original departments of the island during the Spanish colonization, and the white ones the purity of ideals.
No other national flag has this exact combination of geometric elements, colors and symbolism.
My country's flag has red and white colors. Red and white are symbolized as the colors of the earth/land (red) and sky (white). The red color represents the courage and fighting spirit of the heroes in fighting for independence. And white represents purity and spirits all Indonesian people in fighting for the country's independence.
The flag was designed by Michael Taiwo Akinkunmi.
The green stripes represent the wealth, agriculture, and greeny vegetation in the country, and the white band represents peace and unity.
After the revolution they chose the colors of the communities. A lady in Brussels found some cloth and sew a flag for the resistance. But it was hung up the wrong way so we had a square flag. Later on the flag was turned again, but kept vertically like the flag of France, as a thanks to help Belgium with the revolution
My country Singapore is a small country by size of 734.3 Km square and we have one of the best airports in the world - Changi Airport and we are proud of that. Our flag is make up of red and white which symbolizes universal fellowship and equality, pervading and everlasting purity and virtue respectively. The young crescent moon symbolizes that we are a growing young nation. 5 stars representing a democratic society based on justice and equality, peace and progress.
