We all believe in something. We all have something that makes us go further, that makes us fight for survival. The difference is in what makes us move and not give up. What do you worship, what do you hold in high standard, who do you look up to? What is that one thing that you fight for, that you fight with?
There are a lot of things a person can believe in, in this modern world of various religions and policies, people to look up to. There is something inside of me that makes me believe that there is a higher force guiding me and supporting me. You know that feeling when you believe in something that you can't prove exists. I believe that there is a special balance in the universe, a rhythm that affects each of us personally.
People interpret this force differently, they put it in gods, in science, in educated people, in self guidance and self strength. We are all part of the same universe and yet there are so many religions it is ridiculous. People fight over their beliefs constantly, they even fight to kill. What we don't realize is that there is enough space for everyone, and overpopulation wouldn't be an issue if people worked together instead of against each other.
For centuries our religions, our beliefs have killed more people than plagues, because plagues get contained, but blood-lust doesn't. Kill in the name of Father, Allah, any god actually, when one of the first rules religions usually teach is exactly the opposite. Human life is sacred and anybody who kills another, buys a one way ticket to the darkest places. The concept of how we do things appalls me, we twist and turn, and interpret books for our own gains, religions turn into politics and politics turn into massacres.
Religion was meant to help and lift our spirits, connect us with the universe, unite the humans of this earth, but it is used for personal gains, creation of authority, fear and oppression, in some places even today, in 21st century. We like to act educated, but we fail to stand up for injustice. We like to act like we accept all shapes, sizes and colors, but we condemn behind backs.
The faces of humanity are beautiful and amazing at the same time cruel and egoistic. We are what we are, we use religions and politics as excuses. You can interpret a book however you want and people do that and more. Greed is the fuel and blood is the price. Is that the right kind of balance?
I know I sound negative, but killing for religion still happens, rape still happens, child labor still happens, human trafficking still happens in our educated societies, and there are people who don't care. The worst thing you can do is not care, because what we do or don't do affects everything around us. If you don't care, things won't change. How many people care about you?
So this is why I bring forth belief, it doesn't f@#%ing matter what you believe in, there is something that makes you go further in life, there is something that connects us all. That fire inside you is what everybody has, big or small we are all the same, so why not get up, think about each other and do. Do you feel like you could help somebody? Do you feel like you deserve the life you have? Do you care what the world will look like when you are gone? Do you like where humanity is headed right now? Do you sometimes feel like you could do more? Do you care what happens to others or are you a bystander?
I know I am not going to change the world with this, but I sure will try. The only thing I want to say is that belief is a wonderful thing if you use it right, small deeds go further than anything, every small thing matters. Use your fire to be better, to help the world grow, if not for you, then for your children. And each religion should persist, it is what helps millions of people connect with the greater power, there is enough space for all of us.

I don't believe in a god, the way religious people do. I believe in something bigger than me but I primarily believe that we alla re connected, I believe we all belong together, not only humans, but also animals, trees, everything that lives. A bit of buddhism I guess, but I don't label it so much. I also believe in being the person I want others to be. To show the way, to be kind, caring and helping. And I don't teach that talking about it, I need to act on it. Which I try to do. I don't always succeed but I always try:-) Nice post on an important matter in todays world, thanks <3
I don't believe in God as a person either, I believe it to be a force of some kind. I love your ideas about everything in the nature being connected, us being in harmony.
As you said, this post isnt going to change the world but it is going to show like minded people that there are others out there participating in the change that they want to see in this world :)

The more commercial practise killed human real emotion. When two fight, third party go to help his favor to sell his wapeons with billion dollars. I personally believe, if every country allow their religious leader to take part in political decisions then we could see different world.
But they are only allowed in temple or Mosque. If you belief in God then should follow his books and rules. But people use their religious cover to gain their own interest. It seems that something worse waiting for new generation if existing generation do not take part to change the world.
I don't think religion and politics should be mixed at all as because religion is so involved in politics, people find reasons to fight about it. Religion has suffered so much because it is political.
I am not a believer in conventional religion, I believe people can use religion for guidance, but they should not use it as weapon, in a bigger scale the fact that you believe something else than another person should not affect how you view that person. And it is not just about religion, it is about how people deny others beliefs in any way, not just religion, some people are the'' you are wrongers'' who will always argue with you just because you have an opinion, because of our differences we close off ourselves from each other.
I do believe with you that there is a higher power within us that we should order our life around. However, humans basically relate to the world and to others from what they think or believe on who they are, consciously or not. And more likely than not, there is a huge gap between our self identity and that perceived higher power within us. Very much in the same way that most of us think that God is apart and a different being from what we are.
Yet the bible provides that man was created in the image of God and it is in God that humans live, move and have their being. Without God, man is null and inanimate or nothing and inexistent. It is therefore God that animates, enlivens and empowers every human alive. Dare we say then we are individuated parcels of God? Believing in this should make all our concerns fall into their proper places and would make a more peaceful you, me and the whole world?
Would like to add herein that scientific experiments were done that led to the conclusion that it is man’s feelings and emotions that physically create reality and not his thoughts, ideas or any other human attribute. I have seen evidence that convinces me that the planet is an oblate spheroid...a LOT of evidence. I am CONFIDENT that it is true. The evidence is falsifiable...in other words I can check it out.
That is NOT the same thing as 'believe'.
So that brings us to my point, you believe in the existence of the planet we are living on, thus you believe in something.
The truth is we can interpret any word the way we please, that is the point I am making in the post, humans like to twist and turn anything in their favor.

True, money is a high priority for most people, but it is not evil, our choices are the decision makers and, yes, sometimes we put too much power in the material things that have no real strength, just the one we give them.
No money itself is not evil, but it was created by evil to control the masses, so it does a lot of wrong to the majority of people who are living as slaves to the monetary system, which is why the blockchain has been invented.
More good hearted people need to have more money, and there lies a big problem, but many are working on it!
It would be good to see more integrity and caring going on, which it is, but it just seems to have less money to do the good. Blessings
It is the system not the money, we are taught to fit boxes of employment, the more we work, the more tax has to be paid and the more money goes away for everybody else, but yourself. The power is where we put it, and for me it is greed that seems to show very ugly sides of people, but I am sure we can all come together and work on a better future. s you said, the solutions are made now, hopefully they will work for the better.
Yes I agree it is the whole system, that is what I was meaning by being slaves to the monetary system.
The more those who are aware spend money with those who are choosing natural products, businesses, environmentally friendly etc then the more the shift of power will go to Pure over evil.
