Steem makes it free to communicate and ask other steemians if their likeness can be used. What is their excuse for not asking. I assumed that mrs steemit and ssj both submitted their own photos and were involved in the process and having fun. . I didnt know it was some sick sex fetish. Steem makes it so free and easy to communicate with peers that i assume communication is always being done
Inclined to agree with you that this whole situation is kind of shit.
@berniesanders may not be the most popular power user on the platform but he's never done anything wrong to me and he seems stand up enough in regards to what he feels is right to protect the platform from garbage.
If they did indeed get permission and the users supplied photos and agree'd to be in the competition.. It's still kind of stupid in my opinion. But would be far less crappy than how it looks now.

Another clueless troll who has no clue what he's talking about. In fact, I just removed my votes from @steemsports as I find posting photos of a 16 year old pretty fucking disturbing. Until there's an explanation and at least an apology to the community I will no longer be supporting @steemsports and I sure as shit won't be supporting this bullshit by @walden.

@noisy, Honestly, I'm probably the wrong person to ask. I'm not much of a writer and I find most of the content on here to be pretty lackluster and not the least bit engaging. I also believe the rewards and how they're distributed is up to the community and shouldn't be controlled by implementing more changes in a fork. Steemit has the ability to control what is displayed on their website, but they do not have control over how the blockchain is used. Until there is a better idea than steemsports for the use of the blockchain rewards, it's going to continue to dominate the reward pool and I don't think that's something you can blame them for or should try to discourage. I think it would be a better use of time to try to develop something more enticing for the community to use their votes towards but right now I'm not seeing much on the horizon.

It doesn't sit well with me either.. regardless of permission granted the fact the community was unknowingly voting on the "hotness" of a picture of an underaged young woman.. Not very good for PR. :/
