I'm fairly happy with this. I think shading is key to make it a little more 3d, but a Biro is not the best tool for this. I do what I can.

Nice first try at a 3D style sketch. Just keep at it. Look forward to your next attempt, but as you say don't use Byro. I think pencil is best, firstly for correcting any errors, and is easier to do shading (this is not official advise, as I can't draw for squat!!)
