You have probably noticed I like to be a pioneer of undone things here on Steemit. If you read back through my blog you will see many things that I did have turned into the weekly blog post of some other accounts which is awesome. I don't look to be a trendsetter but I guess a good idea is easy to run with. After saying that I would hope that this post would also catch on and become something more users do at least once but reality and the normal human nature and greed will not allow it to be so.
My life has taken a change for the better and I give credit to the users of Steemit who have allowed me to talk through so of my life's issues, users who I do not know being overly kind to me when that is out of character for most humans. So, I am going to do something that is fully like me and I hope will catch on from users who are able to do so as well.
Wishful thinking but here goes.
I am looking for someone that needs some general help in life. I'd like you to share your story with Steemit, with me, with the world forever on the blockchain. I will either buy votes for a few post to over $100 or if I am really moved and feel that the person is honest and really in need, I will power down my account for a week or two and send the liquid Steem to them to either withdraw for life reasons or power up for their Steemit future.
I am
NOT looking for entries by charities as I don't believe in them as they do things for profit. Yes,
they are for profit unless 100% of what they make goes 100% to people who do not work for the charity, overhead or operating cost. I also feel everyone needs to look at that when donating to a charity. You would benefit more people in real life if you would just give your money directly to people and not a charity.
So, if you have a story that you want to share for this contest, please write a post and link it to the comment section here so I can review them and maybe help some people out in real life as I have been helped by those on the platform who have been here for me.

My story is the same as many Venezuelans! We need money, for nothing but basic services, mainly eating, that's what I need most!
I have thought about emigrating, as much of my family and friends have done, but I can not! My grandfather died 2 months ago, because of the lack of medicines and instruments to counterattack cancer! and that's why my grandmother was left alone, since my uncles emigrated 1 year ago. So we were alone she and I, I can not leave her, she will not want to leave the country, so I must stay here with her, while I finish my university career (geography, I have left like 1 year of study)
I thought months ago that I would go crazy with this situation, the depression is sometimes very strong, having to endure the departure of my grandfather, the departure of a large number of relatives, friends, the loneliness that is lived in this country, the chaos and inefficiency. And not to mention the constant inflation, which every day makes everything worse. As it may be that $ 1, is equivalent to almost 4 million bolivares, what a barbarity! It is impressive how everything goes up, in January a simple box of 24 eggs, cost less than 500 thousand Bolivares, today it costs more than 5 million Bolivares.
Only one thing has given meaning to my life, these last 3 months, and it has been steemit, thanks to steemit, I have been able to help me in my studies and with my basic needs. Steemit changed my life, even more than the whales that have a lot of money here. I feel even more pleased than them, I am a small fish, my portfolio is small, my SP limited and even so Steemit has raised my morale, helped me as never before had done something else.
The truth is I do not like to ask for anything from other users, and I try to keep my nationality hidden, I do not like to give pity. Neither beg for the situation, I do not ask for steem, I do not ask SBD, my goal is to get SP, win and win, to have a better future, backed by Steemit, I trust this page, I trust this currency and I know it can take me Something very big.

I've been a follower of things happening in your country of Venezuela. I'm sorry that the economy and currency is so bad there and now that the people suffer from the fall out not being able to afford food to live.

Hey buddy, what's up? I think it's a good initiative what you're doing.... look, I'm in a bit of a difficult economic situation right now, but I'm still grateful for a lot of things because where I come from there are people in a much more difficult situation. Despite being from this part of the world where everything is so complicated, I still have hope that things can get better, and I am totally convinced that I can contribute to that.
However, for reasons beyond my control, I have decided to move to Chile, with my brother, where I will have more opportunities and earn a living with a job, something that in Venezuela is currently impossible by common means, as it should be.
I really want to grow up on Steem, and I am fully aware that in order to do so I have to power up, which has become almost impossible for me since most of the rewards I get in my posts I use it for living and for common expenses.

Thank you, yes we could all use a little money. I personally could "use" the 128 Steem in real life to make things easier but I know somewhere on here 128 Steem will change a life. There are big differences between want's and need's, struggling and without.
There are plenty of stories where 128 Steem will make a difference and I know there are some where 128 Steem will change a life. I don't think the people who it will change a life for will be held up by pride to ask. The more people who resteem, the better the chance of real help happening.

hey buddy, I know you didn't ask me, but here in Venezuela despite the difficult situation, we have some public universities, which are not fully functioning due to the economic and social crisis.
edit: I'm a musician too, and there is a chance here to get a good education in that profession, the core problem is that because of our crisis there are a lot of good teachers/musicians immigrating or leaving their jobs at the university because they earn more money by working freelance, not to mention all the other factors affecting the employees of these universities, infrastructure, insecurity, crime, etc.
You may have a lot of questions about our situation here because there is a lot of information out there, both true and false, but I can assure you that everything that @miguelvargas says to you is reliable.

That's awesome, I did not know that there were free colleges in the world. That offers a lot of potential improvement for people who would otherwise not be able to attend due to cost.
Man, higher education in Venezuela is been free since 1864, there are some private colleges but they are meant for the lazy and rich so they can buy they way into dad's company.

We are proud here of the music level. We export high quality musicians to the best orchestras in the world. That was possible thanks to the System of Orchestras, a foundation that founded orchestras throughout the country and hired many foreign musicians to form them. Unfortunately, at this time there is no money to keep all the infrastructure, things fall apart, teachers give up and there are only those who with much love and support from their families who send money, can spend their time to train students that still remain.
Luckily, that university education is completely free and, despite all the difficulty of attending classes, I am very grateful to all the professors. Would you believe me if I told you that a teacher's salary equals approximately $ 1 a month? Well, they with that small income (which by the way is paid late) strive to teach us what they know.

The only one that comes to mind is @lynncoyle1. Maybe because they are close to me and I see the struggle daily. Long term illness is a challenge emotionally and financially. They don't complain and drive on. Steameians have been assisting here and there. But with that kind of a mountain to climb it is a daily challenge.

When I first saw this post, I thought you wanted ideas to help pioneer on the Steemit platform. On opening though, it's slightly different from what I thought. Either ways, I actually opened it for the prize pool. That's just massive! Okay, now I'm ashamed of myself.
I do know someone who that amount would certainly do a world of good to by the way. This person is quite shy, so I do doubt that an all out blog post would be forthcoming. That aside, he has actually been dropping subtle hints in recent posts and comments, hoping an equally discreet Samaritan would appear.

You see, I found out about Steemit back in January, and I cannot begin to say how much easier it has made my life since then. The high point of it was the massive role it played in helping me serve my nation without the financial distress usually associated with this journey.
Now I live in a country where unemployment is rife, and even the best graduates don't get jobs without having good connections. So I decided I would try to stack up steem, so that at the end of my service year in march 2019, I would use the finds for a startup, and be a job creator instead of adding to the millions already in the job market. For two months now I've been struggling to keep up with the plan, and it's been fair...
But life happens. I use a Tecno 7c tablet. My laptop is a very old hp model (Compaqnc6320) which about three weeks ago had given up on me. And just recently, maybe about two weeks ago, my tablet did too. When it rains...
Now I did get it to work after lots of efforts, but it was clear to me it won't last one more month. So, truth is, I need help with getting a new device, so my plans don't get thrown out the window.
I am literally scared of what might happen if they do
I do feel helping me would be a worthy venture because this is actually going to help keep my life on track. I know no one to make nepotism work for me, and quite frankly, I can't live, or build a life solely on Steemit funds. So I'm asking, please?
P. S. I did start to power down recently to help my needs, but apart from disrupting my goals, I don't know if it would be sufficiently powered down before it's too late.

I 100% agree, everyone needs help in some fashion or another. I have learned very many hard lessons helping those I thought were in need. All I can do is allow people to ask, hope there are more willing to help along the way and do what I can.

I have teetered on the brink of homelessness for the last three years unable to work do to injuries. We also have ten kids. Your story is yours to share, let us hear it, we may find it worthy.

I have started to lay the groundwork for a global tribe here on Steemit and on discord. The reason is to help bring us all closer together, to get to know each other's cultures and the way they live. The progress has been slow because I really want to hit target and do greater works that will bring value and solutions to help people in their everyday life.
So over the last couple of months, I have been browsing the platform and what I see is that there are people that need help in different countries.
I feel deeply and I passionately believe that if we can bring people together that represent the Steemit communities in each country(in the form of a tribe) they can help the people that need help in their own countries and towns and the tribe I am building would serve as a information resource and support system to help them grow and live a good quality of life. No, I am not a charity. Just a fellow Steemian wanting to help others globally.
I am asking for the support in steem or steempower to help me to do that.

There are a few good ones but most pay people like employees, host events and spend way more than they ever give to those they "raise money" for. A charity is not a business, those who claim they are, are not charities.
Perhaps I should direct you to the Deadspace needs vidja games/pocket knives/and copious amounts of whiskey foundation. They donate 100 percent of their proceeds to businesses like Amazon or the local liquor store, and upon receiving a donation will promptly tell you that you've been scammed. A tier 1 organization, hands down.
You have a box coming already, can't say there will be pocket knives but whiskey and video games will more than likely be included, the rest is for your better half as a reward for dealing with you.

I would have to hear the story, I have seen and heard mixed stories coming out of that country. Even here on steemit there are stories about how bad things are and in the same video there are street vendors with full display's of items for sale with normal pricing. That one is very hard to get a finger on the full, true story.
Maybe you don´t know much about it. Some data: between 2015-2017 1.5 millons of venezuelans emigrated (not counting 2018), and the actual inflation rate is 40000%.
Of course any Syrian deserves help also..

I do not have any personal experience in that country but I did have one user win 30 SBD in a contest and he paid for a new apartment for 6 months as well as food and house items. According to data, 30 SBD would be worth less than a dollar and not buy shit.
As I said, I can not get the full picture on that country. It is very easy for all of them to say how bad it is but when there are many of them living normal lives off of a few dollars a day from steemit post, no, I don't believe all of the data.
What about a homless I know from 3 blocks away from home, he makes pictures on canvas beside living in the street. I always tell him about SteemIt and this would be a nice start for him.
I can help him to create an Steem account and help him to post his story and pictures here in this post. I always think about homeless people and the economic help they could get here. I'm not talking about asking for money, I'm talking about showing what they can do here or help them to learn things that can get them money here.
Have you spoken to him? I only ask because there are a few guys around here that I talk to often and they are homeless by choice. I still go out of my way to drop them Mc Donalds and I have just started driving around with new shoes in my truck in the hopes that I get lucky and they fit one of the two guys I always talk with.
They have monthly checks they get and have money, they still get turned away from Mc Donalds due to their looks. I have not went as far as inviting them into our home as I have small children but 2 years ago we did take them Thanksgiving dinner to the benches where they sleep. Last year we had a 20 day old and did not get the chance.
I don't think I could feel right about giving a brand new account this contest money as there are many steemit users already bad off. I would be willing to support this new user with votes and possibly purchasing some artwork from him through the mail.
I am in Argentina, of course I've talked to him. He discovered that he could paint in order to sell his art in the street, he don't recieve nothing from the govt, I will post pictures later.

Actually, the minimum wage here in Venezuela, taking the calculation would be 2 Steem, and really that money only covers the cost of eating a maximum of a day and a half since in my house we would have to feed 5 people and only 2 of us have that responsibility. What my mother and I would be and what is disappointing is that after working hard for 30 days, what they pay you is a misery that would only be enough to buy three things, my mother works 14 hours a day and I really admire her. for that great sacrifice, I tell you the truth, if I touched that amount of money I would never stop working because I am a type of person that aspires to succeed, but if that would relieve me a lot and we would start to eat much better

life is complicated. most people like me will not post my story, cos as i read already there are quite a few people who needs help. idk what it is sense of unworthiness to get help, or pride. right now im concentrating on quality content. but i am not seen in the big arena of steemit. i personally would share my story on my own... even without the prize or help engagement... but its no use, cos people always think that it is whining. haha. and they dont want to read long stories. cos their attention spans are low, and they think that everything is simple in life. but those who goes through struggles can firmly say, everything is not that simple. that said... even with a written story. it will just go down the drain in the long steempipe of abyss hahaha. but in reality im 8th child. counting on steemit to turn this life around. my passion would be filmmaking, but instead i have to get hit by life for fathers mistakes. children should not suffer from the mistakes and sins of the father. that being said.. i bought this steem account for 3 bucks, and with my posts i am already happy for progress that i have done, i get satisfaction that i can upvote some good content creator with my measelly 00000000,1% vote haha.. when i see i add a cent to the vote i get so happy, cos content creators needs every single little cent. they can get. for quality content only of course.. i couldnt choose my steemit name cos its bought, but haha when ill get to a level ill make my own account with my desired name. which is a secret! can someone tell me estimate of real people on steemit active every day? all i see are bots everywhere with unoriginal posts. ahh well. ill stop now. have a nice day.
You do know Steemit accounts are free, all you do is sign up under your own email. No-one has to buy an account here.
i didnt wanted to wait for 2 weeks. plus. i did register 3 months back. and did not heard from steem it anymore. the verification was tripping out i guess. as it is common so i hear.

You resize pictures before uploading them, I use Photoshop but there are free ones too.

Hmmmm tough one. There is only thing i want in this flatform, i want to be heard, the voice of parents out there. I mean all post seems to trend on how to get rich here on steemit. So, Id like to promote the greatness in motherhood, the journey maybe tough but you will get through once you get to know you are not alone. So in my own little way, my posts are all about my family. My two super hyper active kids. And my not so boring everyday life. I make it a point to post 1 ot 2 everyday so not to lose contact in the community.
