Topic: Destructiveness of disobedience

Cockaadoodoo was the communal cry agreed by the Chicken community when there is an emergency. Hen-rie is the only daughter of Hen-rietta. She was a maiden hen who was well sought by the cocks. Her mother told her to always tie a pebble across her waistline hence the cocks takes abusive advantages of her. Hen-rie wouldn't listen because to her, it made her look less attractive.

The cocks were getting frustrated by Hen-rie's refusals and held a meeting on how to get her. They hatched a plan and the first thing they sought to do was commonise the communal cry "cockaadoodoo" so it won't make much meaning when their victim decides to seek help. Second plan was to make sure she wasn't with her waist-pebble which served as an obtrusion.

Their day came when Hen-rie decided to take a stroll. Before leaving, her mum kept hammering the need to stay protected. She wore her waist-pebble when her mother was still in sight. Once out in the woods alone, she quickly removed it and was swinging her waist with much fervor. She needn't swing it much as the cocks lay in wait. Only this time disobedience would disqualify her cockaadoodoo!

Interesting piece. Success

Thank you big boss @eurogee

Any runner will tell you that the right shoes are key to success and it is this thinking that has been the driving force behind sporting goods manufacturer Adidas. The company’s origins go back nearly a century when one man, adi dessler was determined to provide every athlete with the best possible equipment. Today, the adidas group is the worlds second biggest sports equipment manufacturer with products ranging from footwear to clothing to accessories, focusing on running, football, basketball and training. It also possesses one of the worlds most iconic brands, a distinctive logo of three (3) stripes.
Inspiration leads to new shoes
German born adolf dessler, nicknamed Adi, was an avid sportsman with a passion for extreme sports, having even built his own ski jump. A keen runner as well, he, like many other entrepreneurs, spotted a gap in the market the need for better shoes ones that enhanced performance and went beyond functionality. Adi had originally trained as a baker but he had a heritage steeped in shoe, it seemed his destiny to follow in his father’s footsteps.
This is the sprite of self believe hard work and determination. Believe in your good sprite & work herd.

It's famine and all animals are hungry. The Tortoise volunteered to figure out the problems behind their dismay by setting out on a few hours journey to King Lion's palace for a solution.

After a couple of days into the journey, Mr rabbit who is impatient grew angry at the slow nature of the Tortoise and therefore set out on the same quest because he knew he can beat the Tortoise to the king's palace and return in shorter time to the kingdom.

It wasn't as quick as presumed by Mr rabbit but his journey to the king's palace was timely. Mr Rabbit was overwhelmed with fear when he saw king Lion struggling to crack the Tortoise shell so that he can feast on it.
Out of fear, Mr Rabbit screamed and king Lion could see a promising meal in front of him. King Lion freed the Tortoise because of its hardened shell and prey on Mr Rabbit who turned out to be an easy game for the king.

The moral of this story is GRACE. Everyone's GRACE is different, so, therefore, don't push yourself to do what you see others doing. You might not get lucky.

The Owl and The Orangutan

The lion wanted to make a book that had data about the jungle; but above all, he wanted to know what the medicinal plants were and where they were. The lion commissioned the owl and the orangutan to do the task. The two made an expedition through the jungle, the orangutan wrote in his notebook the names of the rivers and plants, while the owl used his prodigious mind, without writing anything down.

After the expedition the two animals told the lion what they had seen, the giraffe wrote down everything in a huge book, the owl said everything by heart, while the orangutan read everything from his notebook.

There was a fire in the jungle and the book was lost.

One day the animals fell ill, so the lion sent the owl to tell him what the medicinal plants were and where they were to save the sick. Since so many years had passed by, the wise owl didn’t remember, so they called the orangutan, who still had everything written down in his notebook.

The animals were saved and the Orangutan was named the wisest of the jungle.

The faintest ink is more powerful than the strongest memory.

I loved this fable, excellent!

The Bear and The Monkey

A tennis tournament had started in the jungle, the monkey and the bear were going to participate. The monkey was the champion of last year and the bear was his closest opponent, as he had been in second place. This year the bear was determined to win and had practiced his serve everyday since this was his weakest point, while the monkey had not practiced at all because he felt safe and confident that he was the best.

The monkey would make fun of the bear for practicing so hard and would rather hang out with the beautiful girls in the jungle. The day of the tournament came and with a masterful kick the bear beated the champion, the monkey.

No one could believe it, but perseverance and effort in achieving goals was what made the bear triumph.

The Fable of the Hen and the Chicken

Once upon a time in a village community of the Fowl, there lives an old mother Hen with many children and grand children, all living together as one big family.
The Mother Hen is the Queen of the Village and decided to hand-power over to her successor before she die and there was a need to call for an election to choose the right and next candidate.
So the Mother Hen decided to call all the other leaders and members of the village heads to make preparation and plan for the next leader of the fowl village community, but there was a little argument and disagreement among the leaders and the family members of the Mother Hen.
One of the leaders of the group was not OK with the decision and said power must be handed over to her because she was the second in command but one third of the village heads agree with it, while two third of the group still remain with the Mother Queen decision and there was a break out in the village community…That is why fowl from different area/location doesn’t agree with themselves.

The Donkey

The donkey lived on a farm and every day helped the farmer in the wheat fields.

The other animals on the farm mocked the donkey because it was clumsy and easy to fool.

One day a strong storm fell on the farm, and a tree fell on the barn, where chickens slept with their chicks. The animals were trapped and the level of water caused by the overflow of a river quickly increased. The few birds that managed to leave cried for their children.

The donkey to see the tragedy ran to his aid, he put on the harness and asked the hens to tie a rope to the tree, with his strength he moved the tree and saved the birds.

The Donkey that everyone considered clumsy, and who they mocked all the time, was the hero and who saved them. The distressed and grateful birds realized that they judged the donkey only because of its clumsy appearance and not because of its heart.

The fable of the young alien

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, a young organism crawled out of its egg. After having eaten its brothers and sisters, the small alien started growing. The larger he grew, the more he realized that he was alone. He wanted some friends, so there he went, on the search for more friends.

He came to the jungle, asking the tiger if he wanted to be his friend, but the tiger said “Meh, I ain’t wanting to be yo friend, mate”.

He continued his journey to the desert, where he asked the sissing snake, if he wanted to be friends with him, but the snake said “No, I don’t want to be friendsssss with you…”

The desperate alien started screaming, where could he find some friends! A nice, little chicken appeared and told him about a nice and warm place with a lot of friends.

The chicken led him to her house, where her friends were already waiting for them. The chickens jumped on the alien and started putting their teeth into his body. The alien, suffering excruciating pains, wasn’t very happy. The chickens were very happy.

HAPPY ENDING!

Moral of the story: Don’t eat your siblings.

Please note: Only count the words inside of the stripes, so the title and the story, which is 198 words (google docs told me).

Cool! Another one!

ok, let's go there.

Ngozi walked by the steelman road with her mum everyday. She crossed the streets, watched the traffic lights change from color to color. Also saw the old beggar who sat by the road.
Her mother had always told her not to help the needy. She often said they were hypocrites.
On one faithful day, her mother had left her to go to school alone. She saw the beggar from afar. She walked to him constantly checking around to see if her mother still followed her.
She looked at the man. He had sores all over his body and he looked starved.
Laura didn't have anything to give him so she brought out her lamp from her bag and gave it to him.
He smiled at her. His face full of joy. Laura continued her way. Almost
at the junction, She noticed an accident had happened at the pedestrian lane she usually passes. Laura stood still trying to understand what was going on. Turning back to look at the beggar. He wasn't there anymore. Then she realized.
If she had not stopped to help the beggar, maybe she would have been involved in the accident
Always LEARN TO HELP others.

The Fox and the sheep

Gilly was a stubborn sheep, never listened to advise and like to do things his own way.gilly was still young and lacked experience. Most of his fellow sheeps did not like him. One day, in the fields he got into a fight with another sheep. obviously gilly was wrong, but he claimed he was right. Apologise!! Other sheeps told him.but his ego won't let him. So the other sheeps separated themselves from him.
Rex the fox observed from the top of the hill. This sheep would definitely be my dinner he said.rex waited till gilly moved quite far away from the other sheeps. Hello friend Rex called out to gilly, on seeing a fox gilly was about to run he had always been told that the fox were the enemies. I won't hurt you Rex said. I just saw how annoying your flock can be. In that fight, you did nothing wrong. Gilly was happy that someone took his side.he thought he had made a friend. Gilly did not heed advice about foxes.Rex led gilly far away from his flock under the deceit of friendship to where foxes stay, where they finally fed on him.

.

We should learn to keep our attitudes in check and also take advice from our elders.

She had company once. When I was a child, she, along with her church sisters would sit in the basement room on Sunday evenings, where the two of us lived, and sing about being pilgrims in this barren land called life. In that moment, the sad world would close in on them as they sang of a place they had not and perhaps would never see. They had tambourines, but except for that intermittent knock, they mostly laid them aside. Every so often, one person would come over to us children as we played in the corner. Be silent lest the Ponts hear they said in hushed angry voices. Other times, our laughter was silenced by the anguish that swelled in their throats. Empty Me From Self Oh Lord, was the anthem you all sang. And because we could hardly do anything, we watched from a far. From the window of the basement, the only place through which the sun shone. Those days are long gone. The hums remain though, in that place where nostalgia was the only thing that kept her.

“Junkies. Roads filled with needles and fear. Harlem was a cesspit. We couldn’t wait to leave. Your father and me. But here we are, back in the desert. The burbs this time.” She embellished the sounds as they rolled from her lips. “Who would have thought that the white lady would have followed us here of all places. She is here Button. And she came with a spoon.”

can it be a sex story also :D ????
