YAY to progress!!! A free standing press handstand is something I’ve been working towards ever since I got my press handstand with one arm on the pole! Balancing upside down on my hands has never been a strength for me, but I’m excited about the progress I am seeing because it has come a long way! My alignment has definitely improved. I still can’t find the balance for more than a few seconds max, LOL (you will see this in the video).
Practicing something over and over again sure does help :P. I’ve been working to open up my shoulders to allow for a better straight stack and better alignment. I’ve also been working on the press up movement with the help of my yoga blocks. This is something I will continue to work on, life is fun upside down! :D Any tips for me Steemians? Thanks for watching and have a fabulous day!

Waooh. Am impressed with your practise and persistance. Believe, these skills dont just jump into our hands. We need lots of practise to master them. As a kid, we played a lot with balancing our body weight on our hands even without the assistance of a wall. We enjoyed it even though we could stand like that in the air for few seconds. With time i left it as we grew up. But am happy you are picking it up. With much practise, you can go far in this.
hehe thank you so much! :) I am wanting to do it without the wall, but I don't have the balance for it or guts for it right now! I think I may try to incorporate a tip from a friend regarding cartwheeling out when trying it without the wall soon, but I will keep working on it. How often did you used to work on it? :)
Everyday. At least practise once each day if you can have the time. Just like push ups, the more you do it, the more your body adjusts accordingly. Just a matter of time and consistency and you will be surprised at the things you could do. Trust me.
Awesome! Yea haven’t been SUPER consistent with the practice, but I will challenge myself to work on it for a moment daily! Thank you
You doing great. Thanks too
Wow bro.. it's just amazing stand. I like it bro.

Thank you! :) lol!
Amazing as always😋
And the last picture is awesome.
Fan of your work dear.
Have a nice day! Cheers
Thank you so much!! :)
incredible movements should have special exercises, with fantastic flexibility, thanks for sharing @polebird.😊
Thank you!! I’ve been working on it :D
I have to try this, but only against the wall.
I love the picture and the pose is insane.I just saw @acromott doing the handstand yesterday or two day ago and he made it look so easy and the I see you do it and you make it even easier.
Hehehe I got to ask him for more tips on balancing! Thank you so much ❤️
Thats an great move which i tried for long but never succeded but you my friend is awesome and it is all because of you hardwork that you are in this level.
Keep steeming dear!
Hehe thank you!! There’s still more progress to made! But I’m glad to have made it this far.. you should keep at your practice!
I stopped it as i know what will be the results😅
Lookin' fly as ever. My only tip: keep going! Your fiery passion for pole is a sign you are on the right path. I appreciate the inspiration you provide.
Thanks my friend! I sure will, I will attempt to check in with the balancing daily hehe. We will see how that goes. Thank you for the kind words, that means a lot!! ❤️
Awesome! It's different not seeying you on a pole :P
I hope you are doing well! We should catch up!
hahah yes!! I'm trying to work on some other skills too :D you too future!!
Gotta be skillful you never know when you can use it!
Looking nice, but you need to lose the head against the wall push, otherwise you are not learning proper stabilisation through the shoulders. To learn good hollow position it's good to practise handstands with your face to the wall. In other words, start in the L-position and walk your hands towards the wall, sliding your feet upwards. Some people can do press handstand through a backbend but it's better to use only a hip-hinge and that requires more core and abs
ahhh, great tip to point out. That is something I will try soon! Maybe it will help me balance without hitting the wall first haha and coming back up into the handstand position. Thank you my friend!!
Yes it will! Try and get so close to the wall that you can touch it with your nose. Work on your press handstands away from the wall and elevate the feet a lot, on a 65cm pilates ball if necessary, and work your way down
Congratz on your achievement! And you've got a new follower. I love pole dancers for some reason heh :)
Hehe thank you! Pole pole pole!! 😁❤️
I’ve been trying to learn a press handstand for years. I just haven’t dedicated enough time into training those muscles in my body. You’re so inspiring!
Aww thank you! A little practice and consistency helps... haha I still have a ways to go!
