The first thought pops in - DEPRESSION, then alone, night, cold, sad... Many have been suffering in silence, suffering at the back. We are not aware of. These people can be our family members or friends or colleagues. It can even be ourselves. Sometimes it will hit us too. It is all up to how we gonna handle it.
It is always a good thing to talk to someone. We don't have to open up to the whole wide world. Just one person is enough. We can either choose to talk to someone we know or even we can choose to talk to someone professional or just someone we met on the bus. As long as we feel safe to talk to the person, we should spell it out. Admit we are suffering doesn't mean we admit defeat.
We may seem to be taking one step backwards but by taking that step we may have a better vision of what's in front of us. We can then plan how to get back up. We can do it alone, but we also have a choice to ask for help. There is nothing to be ashamed of or to be afraid of. There are always ANGELS among us. We just need to ask.
Suffers in silence
Alone in the crowd
Sadness in the heart
Cold in the day
But all these can be mended by the power of LOVE.

Depression may not be purely caused by emotional or psychological means... Sometimes depression can be a body's natural function to combat certain inflammatory infections. Which means you did an awesome thing eating salads..
@awesomianist Ahh... wasn't aware of this... Eating salad is always a good choice...
@elizacheng Of course!! But be aware though that unless there are herbs garnished into it, just eating lettuce itself is not that healthy since its only zero-calorie fibre with no nutrition. still better than carbs and cholestrol
@awesomianist I will not just eat lettuce only... I prefer to have some meat/eggs with the veggie as the salad...
