Happy Sunday, coffee lovers!
My three words for coffee are:
pleasant There is not much to explain here. A cup of good coffee is one of the small pleasures that can be enjoyed every day.
upper If I'm feeling dull and need a little pick-me-up, what better than a cup of coffee?
sensory A good cup of coffee is a delight to the sense of taste, but in addition, the aroma of coffee is a delight to our sense of smell.
For a rainy morning, what is better than a cup of coffee?
Oh! This if I did not expect it. Sensory is the perfect word a.
I invite you a cup of coffee just out of the machine
Thank you! 😊 Cheers to coffee!!
Without a doubt, coffee is a source of well-being and energy for the body and mind. There are no words to describe the sensations that the delicious dark produces.☕
I loved your very beautiful coffee maker and without hesitation it must make delicious coffee.
Thank you for leaving your comment, I'll leave you a cup of coffee.☕
Happy sunday!
Thank you for the cup of coffee ☕️
Have a wonderful week and plenty of good coffee 😄
Thanks for your good wishes.
That's right, coffee should not be missing nowadays. May the caffeine be with you. Hehe.☕
Happy day.
I totally agree on those three words! You know, coffee helps me even when I feel sad. BUT also when I'm worried...or happy, hehe.
I totally agree! No matter the mood, coffee always helps. The only thing I can think of that also has that effect is ice cream, hehe.
Ice cream, the Antichrist! Hehe
My husband and still enjoy going for an ice-cream cone once or twice a month.
I haven't eaten one in a couple of months since I was told to watch my blood sugar. But it's the only sweet I crave and have had a hard time avoiding ;)
If you mix a couple of frozen bananas, a little cold coconut milk, some roasted peanuts, some drops of lemon juice, and a dash of vanilla essence, you'll get a most delicious and satisfying homemade ice cream. My father is diabetic and can have this ice cream after his lunch.
Every time I make it for him, I make some for us, too.
I have made something like this with bananas, but instead of coconut milk, I used Greek yogurt. But I like the idea of making it with a touch of coconut milk. I'm going to try it. Thank you :)
For a rainy morning, I pour myself a huge cup of coffee and music. The combination to start the day in high spirits. Its aroma awakens all the senses
Like Sensory words, I always inhale the smell of black coffee before making it, the smell is very refreshing.
We can describe a good coffee according to our tastes, but coffee lovers agree with all the descriptions, I agree with your appreciation, greetings friend!
Luxury - Yes, coffee is first and foremost a luxury to enjoy. Sit by the balcony, watch over the pouring rain, feel the rainy breeze and sip at a hot cup of latte - hardly anything beats it. You know I am right.
Hobby - If you have made yourself coffee drinks like latte, cappuccino, simple pour over...you know if you don't like it as a hobby you're not going to enjoy going through the "ritual" on a daily basis. Starting from the thrill of buying beans to grinding and adding your own secret touch to add a bit of flavour to the process of brewing - it has to be a hobby!
kick - Well, duh! What's coffee without that morning kick eh!
So to sum it up, Coffee is a Luxurious Hobby with a kick to it!
Edit : Here's my favourite coffee mug! The words hit different and brings back so many memories!
Yes, sir! I know you're right!
I don't have a balcony at home, but as soon as it starts to rain, I like to make coffee and lie down in my hammock on the porch. It's almost always black coffee, but sometimes if the weather really cools down, I add coconut milk and cocoa powder. It's nothing like a kick, as I get sleepy anyway, though 😂
That sounds delicious, and you've left me craving it. I want to try a coconut milk coffee with cocoa powder!
@coquicoin I love coconut milk lattes and if you add chocolate it would be super delicious. Coconut milk is ideal for those with lactose intolerance and dairy allergies.
I don't have issues with lactose but I should drink skim milk to keep my cholesterol under control. And I'm not sure if coconut milk is recommended to keep it under control.
I think that the oil in coconut milk will not increase your cholesterol because it is a vegetable fat, and it is also less frequently consumed so I don't think you are going to overdo it. Don't stop enjoying its sweet flavor @coquicoin
Wow! That combo of coconut milk, cocoa powder and coffee, sounds like what I need on the wet miserable autumn day.👍
It sounds great, doesn't it? It's not autumn here, hehe, but it's a miserable rainy morning. So perfect for that combo too ☕️😍
It's autumn, but we hardly had summer.🙄
Although I use coconut milk for several things, I never added it to my coffee. I should try this, thanks for the tip!

I have tried it this way and I liked it, it is an ideal vegan solution to replace dairy, although the taste varies a little.
I will give it a go to see if I like it because I have coconut milk here anyway and now I'm curious :)

Yeah, I love coconut milk, but adding it to coffee is yet to be tried 😁
Haha, so we are alike :) I use it for chia pudding as well as smoothies but it hasn't occurred to try it in coffee yet. I'm thinking which of the cups would be best suitable first though :)

I have only had coconut milk as is, never tried with anything else. But I see so many people heaping praise on it that I just have to try it at some point!
I have never tried coconut milk in coffee but I have seen it on many recipes online. Is it good with coffee?
Aye, that sounds really nice too! :D
Yes! It's delicious. I like it with homemade coconut milk. I also add cocoa powder sometimes and make mochaccino. It's a must try :)
I need to try this out if I ever see it on the menu at a cafe!
I guess there must be something like this on a vegan menu (I'm not vegan, but we love many plant based dishes at home).
Definitely coffee is a kick way, very good your perspective. I couldn't live without my morning coffee.
How Hobby can also be a game full of experiments. I like to mix flavors, even though with some I have a feeling it will go wrong, it ends up being a delicious thing in the end.
I agree that it is a luxury, one of the wonders that those of us who don't have expensive cars and big houses can afford. Having a cup of coffee is like sunbathing in front of a swimming pool or reading a book in the middle of a beautiful silent forest.
Now that is something I would really, really like to try someday...with a cup.of coffee of course. And if it rains, even better!
Totally agree. The sound of the rain falling is mesmerizing.
Good descriptive words. Hobby is an interesting one. It would have cone to my mind but you are definitely right. Coffee is a hobby to a lot of people.
Heya Leaky! Been a while mate, how have you been!
One of the best hobbies one can have eh! (Yes, I am being very biased here hehe!) 😉
It's been good. Busy with work so less time to comment on Hive unfortunately but good nonetheless. 👍
Same here, I myself have been away for nearly 2 months. Just got back to blogging again this month.
Yeah. It happens to us all. We all take breaks now and again. Life gets in the way of Hive blogging 😆
I very much agree with your three words. Trying to find the best flavor when preparing coffee becomes a fun and challenging pastime, Then come those moments where having a cup of delicious coffee becomes very pleasant and unmatched and to finish I think we all need that kick of caffeine in the morning. Hehe.
Thanks for leaving your comment.
May a delicious cup of coffee accompany you.☕
Happy weekend!
Happy weekend to you too! :))
I always try to add a bit of cinnamon powder when I'm grinding the beans 😉
You are right. Coffee can also be a hobby, very interesting indeed. For me, it is not, at least yet. But I want at to sign up for a course to learn how to taste the difference of denomination coffee. Maybe if I do, it will also become a hobby.
And it is definitely a kick and a luxury that fortunately I can afford ;)
I like your three words to describe coffee, because yes, sometimes coffee also becomes a hobby.
The best hobby eh! 😁
I can only agree fully. I really enjoy my coffee in the morning :)

Awesome 😁
Hey, it's great to see you active again on Hive. You're one of those authors who always bring a nice perspective to everything. Great comment that I agree with.
But, heh! Where's your photo??? Find one and edit 😁
Snap! I was watching a game while hiving and got distracted lol! Added one now.
Thanks for the edit!
That's a delicious-looking coffee, and I agree, the ups and downs are always worth it.
Which game were you watching?
Thanks, made it myself! 😄
Bangladesh vs New Zealand, cricket!
Nice!
I haven't had coffee with milk in ages, but that one is inspiring.
Ah, cricket... that's right my friend has been watching it. I have some Kiwi friends who might have been watching too.
What was the score?
There was a time I used to make latte everyday hehe! I've switched to mostly drip coffee now, but I'll still occasionally go to a cfe for a latte or cappuccino 😄
NZ are 216/7 after 44 overs. It's still on, and there's football later in the evening! My schedule is all jam packed hehe 😂
Well, I have the joy of giving myself a life of luxury every morning. 😊☕ In my country a few years ago the price of coffee increased so much that very few could buy it, really it was a luxury to be able to enjoy even just a cup of coffe in the morning.
Yep! Same here, it's quite expensive to buy a cup of latte or cappuccino or even simple americano. But I consider myself lucky that I can afford it from time to time.
3 words that seem to me perfectly describe this relationship with coffee.
Interesting description, especially the morning kick hahahaha I had not seen it that way, but you are right without drinking my cup of coffee in the morning I am not a person hahahaha, after I drink my coffee I start my day, so I agree with your description, greetings!

Creamy, rich, and comforting are the words that I would use to describe coffee. I often add cream to my coffee, which makes it both rich and creamy and I always feel comforted when I drink it in the morning.
This isn't my favorite coffee item per-say but the one I use every day that I drink coffee at home, so i suppose in a way that makes it a favorite?
Very comforting is definitely what I would use to describe the coffee too. We can have the worst day, but when we take a sip of coffee we undoubtedly feel better.
I leave you a cup of delicious coffee.☕
Happy weekend.
It always lifts my spirits that's for sure 😁
A description perfectly adapted to you. I liked it a lot. Now I say let's toast with that perfect combination ☕☕ salud!
Salud 😁👍☕️
Wow, of course it is comforting to have a coffee and even more so if I share it with friends and talk about what weighs us down.
Very true. It's a great social beverage
I like these words to describe coffee. Although I don't use regular cream in my coffee anymore, I do remember the pleasant sensation.
You know, I was thinking about what makes favorite things favorite, and choosing them most of the time if not always over other things must definitively be a criterion. I think that cup is one of your favorite things; it is!
That's a good point about favorite. Spot in 😁👍
Cream over coffee is the best, especially when it has a salty touch over a sweet drink 😋😋.
Hmmm a salty touch. Interesting. Do you add salt or is the cream salty tasting?
I add salted cream. I usually use it for sweet desserts, but I discovered that it is also delicious with sweet coffee.
Very interesting idea to add a bit of salty touch to coffee! Maybe salted caramel...? Hmm, experimental mode on!
Coffee awakens your sense of curiosity 😋
Interesting. Sounds good 👍
The salty touch enhances the flavor. I have tried it in oatmeal atol and in chocolate cakes and I have noticed that they are more delicious.
Oh yeah. I've done it too. It is a flavor that makes your palate dance.
I learned it from my family on my father's side; they come from Parian culture. I add a pinch if salt to my latte, always.
Hmm, never tried adding cream to coffee. I rely on the creamy texture of steamed milk for the creaminess of my coffee. Does adding extra cream make it too heavy?
In Canada we have a wide variety of milk products so there is every form of milk and cream that you can think of:
Skim milk, 1% milk, 2% milk, whole milk (3.25%), light cream (5%), half and half (10%), table cream (18%), and finally heavy cream (35%). I use half and half cream. Most cafes use table cream. I don't find either to be too heavy but it's all what you're used to I guess. Steamed milk is also good but I don't like just plain milk 😆
That's a long list! I'd wish I could try all of those in my coffee and be able to tell the difference 😜
Yeah it's a lot. Too much really.
In my experience, when I used to have some cream in my coffee, it makes it thickest and less frothy but with a stronger aftertaste. The fat in the cream makes the taste last longer; however, it's not coffee taste but coffee & cream taste.
Wow, of course it is comforting to have a coffee and even more so if I share it with friends and talk about what weighs us down.
Coffee is undoubtedly comforting. I don't usually drink it with milk, but eventually, when I have a latte or cappuccino, I love it creamy.
I love cappuccinos. I haven't had one in a while. I'm about due I think
Lovely 3 words to describe coffee, which I agree with.
That cup is everything. I'm longing for a strong rich coffee. Maybe I need to give Nespresso a break, and reach for my French press of Moka pot:)
It's nice to mix it up every now and again. Spice it up a bit! Lol
I have never had coffee with cream, I imagine it must be super creamy. I also think that coffee is very comforting, it is the complement that cannot be missing in our daily lives.😃
Cream is a nice addition to coffee. Not everyone likes it though
That cup looks inviting. 😃
😁
Undoubtedly they would be: inspiration, temperance and warmth.
These three describe for me what coffee is, because it is present in everything I do, and when I feel I can't do something, a cup of coffee or even its aroma is enough to open my senses and bring back inspiration. It is my muse.
The temperance to know when to stop and take things in moderation, it happens to me a lot when I am anxious and want to eat a lot, prepare a coffee and enjoy it, after that comes a "stop". It's my pause.
The warmth I need when I want to observe things better, what I feel when I sit on the porch of my house to watch the sunrise. It is my warmth.
Happy day or night to all, thanks for the #coffeeconversation.
Very nice comment came out with a touch of poetry and full of feeling. Three beautiful words to write your coffee. Without a doubt, coffee represents something very important in your life, nothing more valuable than a cup of coffee and a beautiful moment to enjoy it.
I leave you a cup of coffee.☕
Good day.
Excellent description. I would also say that coffee is my muse; my inspiration to continue the day with lots of energy. I can't start without coffee or I wouldn't be able to focus. It also raises my mood and produces certain feelings in me that lead to calmness.
This description could not have been more perfect. Let's toast to that toThis description could not have been more perfect. Let's toast to that friend ☕☕💜
I love the way you toast with coffee. Cheers
'inspiration' undoubtedly coffee inspires us to set new goals and we can even write poems when we drink coffee. 😊 @rulirecomienda
There was a time when I used to write poems, maybe with a coffee and a rainy weather I will return to that stage.
Nice three words. My favorite is temperance; I can balance my thoughts and drives if I give myself 5 minutes with a cup of steaming black coffee.
Mine is also that, temperance balances many things in my life.
My three words would be: Bitter, delicious and strange.
(Coincidentally they are the same ones I use to describe my ex, whatever).
I usually prefer sweet things, but with coffee it's not important since I like it both bitter and sweet. If I don't have sweetener in the cup it doesn't matter, as long as I have my morning coffee strong and black, I can start the day off right.
The deliciousness can't be taken away, I mean, how is that possible? And based on this question comes the strange thing. We don't know why coffee is delicious, but it is; it is one of those few things that make you feel good without taking antidepressants or things that hurt you mentally.
Here is a picture of my morning coffee today.
I hadn't realized exes could be described with the same words we use for coffee... Let me see... I wouldn't say my ex is like my delicious and comforting black coffee, but I could compare it to the cow's milk latte I used to drink before: it was the most delicious at first, and also the sweetest, but then it started to hurt my stomach, and I had to move to a healthier kind of latte 🤣 Also I found out I wasn't that much into sweet coffee. So much sugar prevented me from seeing the true flavor of that coffee. I don't want any more of that coffee 😂🤣
You did well not to fall into that again. I use the same words with my ex because they describe him very well. I can't deny that it is delicious, but it is a bitter taste that I would want for the rest of my life, just enjoy it and that's it. 😁😁😁
😆 Taste is matter of taste... and they change.
There are cases of cases... 😬😬
Words that remember the ex, These words say a lot about that person. Hehe.
I think strange would be a very interesting word to describe coffee, in truth coffee has a certain mysticism and how it interacts in our body is a true mystery. you tell us is very interesting.
I leave you a cup of delicious coffee.☕
Good day.
It is very rare, it is, but the coincidence is implicit. Coffee has many peculiarities, both good and magical. Thanks for that cup of coffee, my friend. I'll give you one back from my repertoire.
😂😂😂😂😂
The bitterness of coffee is actually quite important and a lot of people don't realize it. They add sugar to wash away the bitterness. But it is the bitterness that balances out the sweetness of accompanying dishes especially bakery snacks and stuff.
That's right, I recently realized that eating a sweet bread with a bitter coffee made a special difference, it's a practice I do every time I go to a coffee shop.
😆 I'm sure a lot of people would describe their ex that way. Bitter and strange for sure lol
Ha ha ha. Unforgettable experiences.
I suppose that could be good or bad 😆
Only when a delicious element is present.
Made me laugh about your ex, sorry. I need my coffee fix to start the day too.
Everyone got a laugh out of it apparently 😂 Don't worry, it's funny that I refer to my ex with those three words, especially on the delicious 😂.
This made me LOL :)
😂😂😂😂
The perfect description of a coffee lover. Let me bring my cup to invite me some of this homemade coffee. ☕☕ Salud!!
Exes can be good lovers, of course 😂
Energy, scent and health
I would choose these words because they define very well the essence of my morning coffee as you can see in the picture. That cup is at my mother's house, it is a very special cup where she serves me coffee every morning, I call it the golden cup because of its color.
My morning coffee fills me with an incredible
energy
that no other beverage offers me, it prepares me for the day, giving me the necessary spirit to face the day. Just by smelling its pleasantscent
my body is filled with peace and its essence invades my whole body filling it with a unique and incomparable sensation.A few months ago I received a gift by chance and it was to discover that black coffee without sugar controls histamine in the body and reduces allergies caused by rhinitis. I've been drinking it like this for months and my
health
has noticeably improved, my body has become more resistant, I hardly take antihistamines because my sneezing has decreased. It is fantastic! Every day my love for coffee increases more and more. ☕🌻The smell of coffee is certainly powerful. There are people who would never drink coffee but they're always pleased to smell it.
It's true, it is something magical to feel how this aroma penetrates every cell of our body and cheers our soul.
Indeed! Sometimes, when I've had too much coffee for a day, I smell it--like a junkie 🤣
In fact, sometimes just by smelling the coffee powder you feel like you're drinking a cup of coffee 😃
You're absolutely right my friend. I love it and it would be sad if I stopped drinking the drink I love the most "coffee"... Te invito de mi taza favorita
Coffee also fills me with energy and its smell triggers all my senses.
You describe it perfectly. In general, coffee is an energizing drink. It gives us health and a good attitude to face the day. It's nice to know that coffee has given you all those health benefits. I didn't know about rhinitis.
My three words to describe the delicious coffee would be: inspiration, poetry and freedom
Under the rain and with a cup of my favorite dark coffee, inspiration flows in the form of dissonant letters, the pencil flies tracing with its tip, sketches of ideas anatomically incorrect and with a bias of deep ideas in the inspiration that flows through the caffeine overflowing in the cells of the mind.
The poetry that comes after the inspiration, transforms into sweet yet bitter verses, a bit acidic and with rhetoric flowing like delicious springs and with the smoke of sentiment taking over the consciousness.
I end with the freedom one feels when the pencil stops and on the paper is left what has been written. The release of caffeine has made my whole being fly through lyrics and verses sung in an aroma that takes over existence.
These are my words to describe my deliciousness as I write, I couldn't help but give it the poetic touch, but in truth this is how I feel when I take a cup of very dark coffee and start writing.
Delicious coffee for everyone!☕
This photo is of the family coffee pot, the whole family serves coffee from there. Take your cup and serve yourself a delicious dark.🤭☕
Happy day!
I liked the words you chose. I can see coffee and writing go hand and hand for you. I feel it the same way; I never start writing without brewing some coffee first.
It is inevitable to feel poetry when we think of coffee. I feel identified 100
Let's toast with our favorite cups ☕☕
Reading poetry while drinking coffee in front of the sea is something I have done twice in my life and I hope to repeat it.
I loved your words.
Your poetry is as delicious as coffee. I love that type of inspiration, creativity reaches us even in the simplest things. Good night!
What a lovely conversation!
Let's see how I'd prescribe my coffee, I think strong, balanced and delicious are my three words.
I don't like coffee if it's not a bit strong, it needs to have that bitter taste and then I need to have the exact right combination of the coffee, some coffee creamer from Completa as well as 2 teaspoons of sugar. If I accidentally (it happens) add too much sugar or it's a bit low on sugar, I don't enjoy my coffee. In fact, when too much sugar is added, I prefer giving it to my boyfriend as I will not enjoy it, lol.
The coffee creamer from Completa is my secret ingredient. We tried using a few different milk frothers but none of these (even with good foam) came even close to my delicious coffee combination with creamer. In Holland the creamer was sold everywhere, here I have to make a special order every month at a store selling products from abroad, lol. In Holland, I often used a B-brand which never gave the same taste.
It makes my coffee more expensive for sure, but I feel like I should enjoy every cup I drink, lol.
Your three words perfectly describe what a good coffee should be like. I see you found the perfect balance to enjoy your coffee.
Truly, when something costs you, you enjoy it to the fullest hehe.
Thank you for leaving your comment. I give you a cup of coffee.☕

Hello friends!
If I could only choose 3 words to describe coffee..., for me it would undoubtedly be sunrise, fragrance and life, that is what coffee means in my life; the beginning that accompanies my days, the fragrance that awakens my senses every day and one of the pleasures that I keep in my life, which tells me that I live every day...
Greetings my dear fellow coffee lovers!☕♥️☕👋
