Uploading images still doesn't work with Leo Finances which is a bummer. I have to upload the image with peakd and than paste it here.

I agree, this is bad for new people having to figure out another way to upload their pictures. This is a good reason not to launch the new microblogging platform if this will happen!

@tbnfl4sun leofinance team should work on the issue or announce an update about working on the issues because many people including me do not know how to prevent the problem from occuring when trying to directly upload image when posting directly on the leofinance.io

upload it to peakd and then copy and paste it on leo fiannce. You lose 20% of the Leo you usually get if you use another front end

Leo Finance needs a bit a polish going forwards, there are a few things that need fixing like the uploading of pictures and the autosaving of comments ( I've lost a few by clicking elsewhere). And there are a few features that we desperately need like notifications

I can tell you notifications will be tied to the release of Blank.
That requires notifications and that feature can be easily rolled to Leofinance since it uses the same code.

I'm mostly on my laptop, I don't keep distractions on my phone :P Ecency gives you points for comments, votes, etc which you can use to promote or get an upvote from their account

It is spotty at best. Sometimes it works out, other times it does not.
We are going to just have to deal with it since I dont know if it is on the developer's agenda (if it is a Leo problem which it seems to be).

So images are still not working in LEO? I saw it was fine a few days ago on DBuzz so maybe its isolated to LEO.

I wonder what the backend for Project Blank will be. If it extends there, then we might have issues affecting user experience. I don't think people would like that and reduce retention rate. Also there is also the loading of comments since it doesn't seem like the DB has helped too much with that.

Well when Lightning DB was released I guess they explicitly mentioned that it would be used for ProjectBlank too right ?
They said that this is necessary for the upcoming projectblank so yeah need to fix all these small issues before they release it .

I guess all the changes they are doing for Project Blank might be affect LeoFinance. Maybe it was to fix another issue on Project Blank then.
