'sub-reddits' are what hive communities are originally based on. i didn't really understand 'sub-reddit' when i first joined reddit - because it doesn't really describe what the thing is.. unless you start defining reddit as a noun

But yeah names can be confusing and misleading. The Hive name wasnt really thought out and certainly nobody who was involved did a web search. A couple clicks would have revealed a great deal.
There were people doing the due dilligence, like myself. I didn't actually find that blockchain company - they must have had poor SEO at the time - but it was abundantly clear that Hive was a bad choice from an SEO pov. I was shouted down.
I don't even look any more as there are always going to be other sites that dominate the keyword - at least while Hive isn't audited and improved across the board from an SEO standpoint. Even then it's unlikely to rank for 'Hive' itself

I'm checking out the #markets looking to buy both $LEO and $HIVE. It looks like accumulating HP and LP are going to be my priority, so #LeoPremium is not. I won't pay Elon $8, so $10 is surely too high. At $5 I bet you get more ppl subscribing and a lot more if it's $3, because that's what it should cost this early on, IMO.
I'm somewhat inclined to think the same. At least for now. I think I'd rather add 2,000 $LEO power over the course of 2024 than spend 120 $HBD on premium. Not that I don't think Premium is a worthy idea...
Exactly, I notice that those with bigger votes get more attention, which brings more value over time than adding to the buy back pool. Also, higher LP pays out better from that pool on top of that. There is the apache app Hive. They tend to dominate the rankings. All the major tech sites have something about it.

Counting how many are over one month as of today (70) , the ratio is 52:18. Which means 25.7% have not renewed

I'm checking out the #markets looking to buy both $LEO and $HIVE. It looks like accumulating HP and LP are going to be my priority, so #LeoPremium is not. I won't pay Elon $8, so $10 is surely too high. At $5 I bet you get more ppl subscribing and a lot more if it's $3, because that's what it should cost this early on, IMO.

I'm somewhat inclined to think the same. At least for now. I think I'd rather add 2,000 $LEO power over the course of 2024 than spend 120 $HBD on premium. Not that I don't think Premium is a worthy idea...
Exactly, I notice that those with bigger votes get more attention, which brings more value over time than adding to the buy back pool. Also, higher LP pays out better from that pool on top of that. Right now I'd be paying in just to bring back an overall smaller return to myself and that doesn't make good financial sense.

Maybe the project needs 2account 4 redundancy & decentralization? A provider field can be ++ to database (YT, Vimeo, Rumble, 3Speak, etc.)

Certainly anyone is free to set up whatever back up they want. Everything that is posted is being placed on chain. Hence, if someone wants to dive in, they are welcomed. It is just as easy to go through the feed and grab Vimeo videos.
I dont think Rumble allows for embedding that I could see (as a side note).
