Am I a master first-aider? Sure I’m like Florence Nightingale, Nurse Ratched and James Herriot rolled into one; doctor in residence to the family and veterinarian to galliformes and canines.
I have a healthy interest in health, which is just as well since retiring to live off the fat of the land miles from civilization, we are far too far for medical help to reach us swiftly in case of emergency. And since moving here four years ago, we’ve had a few of those.
My younger brother, a serial tree pruner, was recently poked in the eye by an unruly branch. Blind in one eye he was, and understandably concerned, but assuring him of my competence in ophthalmology I sprang into action, applying DMSO in a saline solution every few hours. Though I almost lost my nerve when he still couldn’t see the next morning, I continued the treatment until two days later he declared himself sighted once again.
Chalk one up to yours truly.
When one of the dogs bit him accidentally, a small but deep cut, oozing and thankfully not spurting blood, I packed my brother’s wound with bentonite clay and applied pressure. Once the bleeding stopped I cleaned it with zeolite and distilled water, pulled it together with adhesive tape and bandaged it. After less than a week, with the help of Chlorine Dioxide, it healed up without a scar.
To this already impressive CV I can add clearing several impacted chicken crops plus regulating my 100kg brother’s wandering blood pressure with 300ml of fresh beetroot juice daily for 3 months.
Unfortunately, I haven’t had occasion to try out the CPR skills picked up in my youth watching numerous episodes of General Hospital, or to demonstrate the Heimlich Maneuver abilities I learned from my father who once saw it on The Late Late Show and delighted in showing us how it was done.
I've been waiting for someone to choke ever since.

Your poor brother
Those accidental dog bites.
Seriously though, I am impressed. The eye--that was brave (of him!!!). Although, likely a doctor wouldn't have done much else, or might have done more harm messing around with it.
With each blog your amazing competence astonishes me even more. 😄
I'm a great believer in the by acting as though I am I become philosophy so I'm not sure I would have trusted myself if it was my eye, but since he's the only one who drives, and poorly even with 2 eyes, I was the only game in town. Besides, we all have a healthy scepticism of the medical profession and an unhealthy confidence in my genius:)
🤣 hahaha! @deirdyweirdy you made me laugh! I think you do have an amazing insights and skill. Well, those stuff you mentioned, CDS, DMSO etc, they do work and I do have them on my shelf and have tried them myself, I took chlorine dioxide orally for 3 months to detox and it gave me good results. I mixed plenty of them and gave them to relatives. With Jim humble/Andreas Kalcher protocol. You are a wise lady. 😊🩷
I'm delighted to meet a fellow user:) I've done many a detox with MMS1 and CDS and cured arthritis in my back with DMSO. It's miraculous stuff. Many people balk at using harmless, natural remedies like these, while they'll neck any old pill the doctor prescribes, and then another one to deal with the side effects. There's nowt so queer as folk!
You never cease to amaze!
I'm especially happy to hear that the eye treatment worked, because it just so happens I am using 20% DMSO with Vit C in one of my eyes for nearly the same injury, only I was attacked by a cucumber vine. Last year though. I've been doing it for the past few months and, although I experience less pain at night (it only hurts at night), it still does hurt. The last few days I said to myself, I said, "I'm going to stop doing this. This here is the last time." Hey healer, should I continue, or try something else? Colloidal silver is on my mind.
You would love homeopathy. Have you started yet? I am so into it!!!!
If you're still seeing improvement, no pun intended, I'd give it a bit more time, though my brother's injury only took a few days to heal. Perhaps increase the DMSO to 30%. Trying Colloidal Silver isn't a bad idea either.
I did try to join the homoeopathy course but my credit card was refused. I have to call customer service and sort it out.
I'm going to sign up for the Academy's class of 2026! Am already working on a payment plan so that I spread the costs out over two years instead of one. I'm spending so much money on supplies (books, remedies, bottles, labels... ka ching!) that I can't afford that tuition yet. I also need to get organized!!! No small task.
I'll take other classes until then. I think I am going to start with the pain course, although that survivalist course, which comes with an incredible remedy kit, sounds good too. That one sounds like your cup o' tea. I'm having trouble choosing!
This past week I treated my dog, who had been noticeably under the weather for a couple of months and last Thursday got very sick, for Lyme disease. I picked quite a few ticks off her over April and May, so it seemed likely that she had Lyme. Today is day four of treatment, and she has gone from feverish, whining, not-eating or drinking, hiding under chairs all day and wanting to sleep right next to me, back to normal this morning! Freaking incredible stuff, for acute illness and chronic. I'm sold!
That's fantastic to hear. We're forever picking ticks off the dogs but so far so good, none of them have been ill. The survivalist course sounds interesting alright but the pain one would be more useful for looking after friends..all of mine seem to be in some sort of distress...all needlecrafted of course.
I know. That's when people call me, when they are in pain. I treated Hazel with hypericum this week, whenever she started whining, and she almost immediately stopped.
For the needlecrafted, you might want the detox course. Seems to me everyone who got the jab is now sick with something or other. Lots of the jabbed are being tested for Lyme here, found positive (of course, just like covid) and doused with doxycycline. They do not get better, and say, "wow that Lyme disease really did a number on me."
I sent a deposit for the academy class of 2026 today.
I've preached detox at them but all they want is a pill to fix them.
Great idea to book for 2026 thus signalling to the oversoul that you intend to be alive and kicking:)
Oh I certainly will be!
Like the lethal injection was supposed to fix them? Do any of them even make the connection?
