I could hardly agree more...Such moving musical gold here. You know, I had to look twice at this chap in the video as at first glance I thought it was a guy I work with at the office although on second thoughts that guy I work with could never be this cool.
Thanks for joining in this week nonames, nice to have you back.

Holy Cow! Sweating Guitarists? A fucking drummer? A unique front? That band checks all the boxes.
I tried just listening and they are quite good, musically. But I kept having to go back to the video, like watching a train wreck.
That sister has cocaine thighs.
She has a Marilyn Manson vibe and likes to include shock elements into her live performances, all while the actual band plays on somewhat undeterred and normal in the background. Steals the show a bit, while confusing some members of the audience. The internet was curious about her figure, and so was I. If this was twenty or thirty years ago, for sure that would be drug related. Apparently she's just one of those tall lanky chicks though and quite healthy, so that's good.
It was a Rolling Stones reference. Can't You Hear Me Knocking. Some live versions have the line 'she's got cocaine thighs' instead of 'cocaine eyes'.
Like I said, it's pretty good musically and I'm going to listen only. I love that young people are playing music! Rock and Roll lives!
If there's one thing I'm good at, it's missing a reference then rambling on about some other shit as if I actually know what I'm talking about.
I'm just having fun (like I do every weekend engagement). I'll probably leave more than a few Rolling Stones barbs around here this weekend :)
I've been rocking Van Halen all week and my wife only said yesterday how cool it is to listen to music played by actual instruments. I'll be honest, I have trouble listening to most of the nowadays music, although I listen to a lot of modern country music and heavy rock and heavy metal. I agree with you, it's good to know there's people out there that play these things called instruments rather than rely on a few keys on a keyboard and a sampler to make the music.
A nice share, and I'll investigate Starcrawler a little more for sure.
With Bubbles, you need to send me a nickel when he makes it on there...I'll pay the freight. Lol
Also, welcome pre-back not really back just yet. :)
Hmm nice, I like it and, again, the sound is instruments and a real voice. I might have to take a look at the Canadian scene. There's nothing here in Australia that's ringing my bell to be honest and considering that I rarely don't have music playing I have a voracious appetite that needs feeding. Cheers once again!
I've actually heard Panic Attack before-for the reason you stated. Another friend said that they might be turning a whole new generation to Rock and Roll.
They did an unplugged live show; the crowd seemed older. A somewhat new group attracting the older generations says something as well. People of all ages have been craving these sounds for quite awhile. All it takes is a few good acts to get the ball rolling. Then you get those bands nobody has ever heard of opening shows; the circle grows.
That's how it worked the first time around. I went to a Beach Boys concert in a baseball park in maybe 1970. The opening act was a little band from San Francisco that tore the place up so bad that the Boys let the crowd cool for an entire hour.
Journey.
Me too, it can not be 99% better than that of old skul
I don't like the manufactured rubbish they create simply to hit the charts...I like something with more depth.
I'm curious as to what you're calling modern country @galenkp. Stuff like those good ol' Kentucky boys, Sturgill Simpson and Chris Stapleton? Or the more Nashville/mainstream stuff?
Well, I'll be honest and say that anything my ears like or that moves me in some way. But the really old 60's stuff is less favourite. I'm not one of those people who doesn't like something because it's new and fashionable, nor am I the type to not like something because it's old and unfashionable...So, whatever sounds good is on my playlist. Right now I'm diggin' on Luke Combes, Florida Georgia Line, Old Dominion and Tyler Rich, but I like a lot more...My musical taste is very broad.
I really like this one, reminds me a lot of concrete blond and Siouxsie and the Banshees, and the video was great, I loved how that one started. At least when the video was unavailable one of the options was at least a song offering from them.
Quite a few of the sounds on my current playlist were suggested to me by the algorithm gods in some way. Sometimes a platform like Youtube Music does a fine job of opening the door to new things, then one can dig deeper and find better. Grooveshark used to be a good one for random music discovery but they shut that one down unfortunately. Pandora was another one but they became anti Canadian one day, switching off access in this part of the world.
I have never understood why things like that happen, I heard from a few people when I was doing a lot of on-line music radio listening that Pandora was losing touch, and somehow along the lines I lost touch with their music offerings. Most of my music now comes from youtube, about the only thing I think they are good for.
I listen to Amazon Prime Music for several hours every day. Generally I pick an artist/band and listen to their 'station'. The mix is pretty good. Right this minute I'm on the Carlos Santana station and listening to Lynyrd Skynyrd. It works for me.
