Weird day. Seems like I made a bad choice to be in Boise. Maybe, maybe not. Are people active on Hive? Is it ok to copy and paste videos from youtube or bitchute on to threespeak without citation? It would seem that is the case. Do people watch videos on threespeak? It seems as though not unless you get a big upvote. Snapshot tokens is delayed because of peerplays dex being behind. Leaving comments on people's posts but not getting replies. Is Hive a ghost town? It seems as though it is.
I guess feytenal is the drug of choice in Boise. Weird. At least that is what these kids were saying today at this church event. Just weird day. Kind of discouraged today seems like this will be my last post for a long time.
I am supposed to onboard someone to Hive on Wednesday using threespeak but I am probably going to hold off. Seems like threespeak is a ghost town getting laughed at for my views. Great points being made pointing out my older videos on Bitchute and odysee is getting more views. Maybe need to step away for a looong time while this platform gets things organized. It sounds like you had a really rough time recently. I have no idea what feytenal is. I would need to google that. I do not think that we are all on drugs. I have had a really busy weekend.
So let me give you my viewpoint... 3 years ago I went dark on the Blockchain. Back then it was still Steemit. I stopped post anything because my life was really busy, something had died in the company that I was working with. Steem's value was also really down and it just seemed pointless to carry on with what seemed like a dying project.
But the project evolved and it look like it is just bigger than ever!
I just got back and all I can say is that the people that never left are doing absolutely amazing. The dapps and the communities that are in here are so very busy that I cannot keep track of it all.
If you are saying that Hive is a ghost town... I dunno... I have been putting together a goal of onboarding 22 new people to Hive in 2022. But not just sign-on. I mean integrated and busy. They need to do enough posts and comments and they need to earn enough Hive to stand on their own for it to count as a success. My goal there is altruistic and because I really love the concept.
So I have been back for about...3 months-ish now and it has been just amazing!
I feel as though your head is a bit noisy right now. In your video, a bit of a ramble runs from one topic to the next and you do repeat yourself quite a bit. I think you need to sort these different things into different boxes in your head so you can cut away the nonsense connections that seem to be made between these different things.
Splinterlands is sitting at a GREAT opportunity right now. Cards are cheap, packs are cheap, SPS is cheap. But that game is massive compared to what I was busy with back in the day. All of crypto is running down the bear at the moment, do not despair. It does that. It has done that.
Also with Chaos Legion just popping out it has caused a lot of stuff to go cheap beacuse people are just buying packs... Until they sell out.
That's all going to change again and if you took Q1 2022 to take advantage of these prices and get involved in the activity, then you will be smiling by the end of the year and onwards.
So yeah man... I feel for you. There is a bunch of things that disturbed you recently and you are now in a bit of a spin because these things have touched and stained everything else. Take some time, de-frag and get level headed first.
I won't recommend quitting. Perhaps just scale down some of your many porjects. Ensure that what you do is what you LOVE doing!
I got ripped off with splinterlands. I invested thousands to get 1.2 mil spt and a couple grand on Sps. I delegated the spt to Spt-curate my alt account and lost half my airdrop points and curation. Agg ignored my discord message about it and went to Hive engine and I was told to kick rocks. After undelegating I got my curation back and my airdrop points back. Went from 73 airdrop points to 45; 512 upvote to 200 when I delegated. Went back to normal after undelegating. I ended up finding a lawsuit centering around fraud and centralizing our second layer with splinterlands after I was tipped off by a whale. Luckily, I got out in time to break even. If I stayed in I would had lost money as Spt and SPS lost 70% of its value anyways.
You know it was just weird today. Pretty weird that the witnesses are going to focus on instant power downs now and RC delegations but no longer talking about coinbase api? Where is all this liquid Hive coming from on Upbit that made Hive inflationary again? Weird finding out The kids in Boise are hooked on Fentanyl.
Why is it ok to trust American science but not Americans on Hive? Lets Go Fauci! Wooo! Though I see @theouterlight and @ura-soul still earning better than most on Hive so I am not sure what kind of reality this is anymore. I love everything I am seeing from @elamental. Kind of wanna maybe continue my west coast tour to Portland. Getting some money in February and maybe wanna move to that scene out there. My children do live there after all. So who knows. Wow yeah you are right. I saw that the last few posts were good and gezzz yeah its horrendous when scrolling down. Just seems like Hive is not a good platform to use. We got retaliatory whales who are bullies, Whales out to take curation from smaller investors and yeah clearly they are pro government/pro fiat in a web 3.0 crypto driven space. I can see the freedom of speech argument on their end but def is gross bully behaviors. For sjws you would think they would be against bully behaviors but clearly are all for it.
I'm not 100% clear what the agenda is with the worst of them, but I feel it is based on habitual deception and nothing really to do with protecting Hive or even trying to protect the wellbeing of other people (based on erroneous information). There is direct financial incentive in heavy downvoting for large stakeholders, but it's just as likely that there is behind the scenes involvement with the agendas I am involved with exposing!

So it was brought up in a curation discord server about how your content was just boring and stale. They do not like boring content lol. But I think it is that they think you are spreading dangerous misinformation. Which is funny IMO. Info on on Hive has to be what the TV says is ok lol.
Considering that a great deal of what I have posted on COVID was part of a process of breaking stories months before the mainstream even started to concur (and which often got people banned from other networks for even mentioning them prior to mainsteam acceptance).. and also that I have regularly had thanks from professors, Doctors and many others for introducing key details to them that they had never seen anyone else talking about - for the most part the idea that my posts are stale and boring is absurd. They could only really be boring if you have no interest in matters life and death and if this is true then it says something about the emotional bodies of those involved.

As for your problem with views and stuff, well, when was the last time you onboarded a content consumer? It's a small market with more and more 'content creators' showing up looking to get paid, and no 'content consumers' showing up looking to get paid (they get paid as well). It's not a problem with the platform, the problem stems from content creators coming here to work for money and not an audience. Whatever your 'brand' of content is, you're expecting the current market to be interested and supportive, rather than bringing in eyes on your own, like literally all folks in business have to do. Due to general lack of interest in attracting consumers (and paying consumers with stake tokens willing to vote), that's why so many struggle to get noticed. Every single new content creator showing up does very little to bring a market with them. So over time, gradually, what happens is you'll have more products than customers able to support it.
The cannabis community and Korean Natural Farming community on instagram and facebook. They see Hive and see that the gardening community on Hive is virtually non-existent. In that regards I just onboarded @earthpurse777. She was well received but she can not get over the Markdown and how complicated it is, I actually had to write her post and she doesnt want me to do that. There is actually a whole community of Korean Natural Farmers I can expose to Hive this Wednesday. I am hesitant to do so because the community of Hive seems split on earning from posts. Earthpurse was looking at posts and saw how it was frowned upon to cash out Hive. So that is weird. Yeah people want to earn from posting especially farmers. With in this community is a lot of Cannabis growers who have money and want to invest into a platform like Hive but are concerned they will be downvoted or will get flack for cashing out Hive. What are you opinions on earning Hive and cashing out rewards?
Well when you can get thousands of views on content from youtube and instagram but see how Hive is such a small market base people wonder if Hive is the best move. Your comment is is actually encouraging and I feel I gotta show up with these people. I have a person who runs a community with thousands of sustainable farmers on facebook I will be onboarding on Wednesday. If he is well received then he can start mitigating people over.
There is people from this Korean Natural Farming community that want to monetize their content to help bring in extra income. On Wednesday I was encouraged to join their clubhouse room to tell them about Hive. They look at my past #knf content and see no responses and support there but see food posts earning like crazy. Even the curators for Neoxian's group today said they are looking for food posts aside from card game posts.
How about this. I Do not give up and I go full ham in bringing Farmers and these Korean Natural Farmers here to Hive and I tag ya when I do so. There are big money people in the cannabis circles there as well. Maybe with your help, sky-line buds, @canna-curate I can bring them on. It is just in the canna-curate discord they are talking about porn and a lot of stuff not related to cannabis in their discord.

You know in Vegas I actually know a few people that died from fentanyl being in cocaine but not actually straight up people being addicted to it. You know in 2017 I took a korean natural farming class in Idaho, Ironically enough. I brought my Grateful Dead father figure friend here with me. He came only because he wanted to support me but was hesitant to because of the history here. But he had a great time. He was surprised at how awesome it was here. My 1 week spent here was amazing. But I am currently in a weird neighborhood in Boise, The North End. Its amazing in this neighborhood. But apparently anywhere outside of it is some kind of weird twilight zone thing. Black people and Asians do live here in the North End as well as lgbtq flags everywhere.
But anyways There are alarm bells ringing outside of this neighborhood, Massive homeless people, radio silence on news stories like football coaches selling drugs, Kids hooked on fentanyl, Churches with acres of land choosing to ignore their land for refugees while kicking out world famous farmers because of what seems like money and then to top it off you need vaccine passports and masks to go see music.
It really had me thinking after seeing the state of affairs the farm was in and how this world famous farmer was kicked out of the church farm for smoking cannabis but yet they do not want to spend any money on greenhouses that will keep the FLOCKS of geese that live there from eating the food away from the food. But will take the money for housing refugees and having drug addicted kids there.
So who knows. I think I was really triggered yesterday having the kids, lyft drivers and some other locals better inform me about what is really going on here in Boise. Seems I will be fine if I stay in the North End.
Hive is such a small place and is looking like a ghost town. I would spend hours if not days on a well written post or even doing video stuff for my farm in vegas to not get any support just to get more support for curation posts and threespeak videos that are cheesy.
Now the curation posts dont get support and after trying to onboard people to hive they are like but dude you get like 1-2 views on videos lol.
I think I need to spend some time in some piece quiet reading a book and meditating. The only thing that made sense in this world was my children but being a white male in Vegas and everything that happened to me there made me think I had no value left in this world and no matter how hard I worked for them or did right it would never be enough.

You need to ask yourself a question before you take a break.
You only have 9 videos on 3Speak. You are getting engagement from on them. Even ones with no views are still getting upvotes. From what I understand those views are counted on 3Speak itself and those videos that dont have views may be getting them from somewhere else. A different front end or even the desktop app. Again, I am not a dev nor do I know how these things work.
Bitchute says they are decentralized but they arent. 3Speak and DTube are the closest you can get to decentralized video social media without going to just IPFS only. On IPFS there is literally 0 engagement by design. If you were to have only 9 videos on Oddeyess or YouTube you would have less engagement Remember these videos are displayed across other front ends. Not just 3Speak. I firmly believe, but have no idea how to prove it, that Bitchute inflates their views. Odeyesee is NOT decentralized and will never be since it is owned and operated by a company.
It's not an overnight thing. I have well over 100 videos on 3Speak across 3 accounts. I have since learned to drop the other 2 and just run it all through one. Why spread my stuff all over and expect some random user that just finds one and automatically know about the others. If people want find out everything I do I point them to my domain name which is a link site hosted on IPFS. It has the links to all the stuff I produce and there they can click on what interests them.
So the question you need to ask yourself is what do you want to get out of being on Hive? Do you want engangment and create and cultivate relationships with other real humans? Or perhaps just create a little content and earn some crypto coin for it? Or Do you want to be a mega super star social media influencer have millions of followers that drool over everything you say all while walking on pin and needles hopng to not piss off the YouTube/Twitter/Fuckbook gate keepers and not be banned?I
The first two options you are in the right place. Just try a different approach and switch up your tatics.
The third option? Yeah this aint the place for that. Many of us are here for the Freedom. Some are here for the crypto coin. But we all share the common interest of Free Speech.

The issue goes beyond threespeak but yeah 1000s of views on a video for my farming content there and way more engagement. I think there is issues with Hive currently beyond threespeak.
I think it is time for myself to realign with reality. The reality is that Hive is not a healthy platform to express one's self or to invest into. I appreciate threespeak but eh just the views are lackluster and I brought up how odysee is not decentralized to a person involved with it and yeah it seems that they are with how the content is hosted in a p2p fashion. Will be cool to see spknetwork fully realized when they incorporate odysee and bitchute like they planned on. As it is Spknetwork and peerplays is WAY behind.
3Speak is already just as decentralized as Odeyesee. Odeysee is not true decentralized because they are eun by a company and can delete your account.
But if you leave Hive your account will always be here. It cannot be deleted.

Yes it is. But 3Speak is not Hive either.
LBRY has all those miners and still LBRY Inc is a company who owns the largest share of the LBC.
3Speak the company and website is merely a front end to Hive. You can view 3Speak videos on other places than 3Speak.
LBRY your choice is desktop app, mobile app or Odeyesee. When the focus of the company is to drive users to their Odeyesee website IMO that's not supporting a decentralized web.
But LBC isn't proof-of-stake, so that doesn't give them the same kind of power it does on Hive.
There's also an audio-centric dApp and an ebook-centric dApp being developed by third party teams.
As far as proof of stake, that part of the blockchains I dont understand. I understand about how a blockchain works and why. But all theses weird accronyms -dpos, defi, pos, etc. Just makes my eyes glaze over. I dont understand that stuff. I dont want to understand it at that level. Super low level. I just want to know that my account cant be deleted.
I didnt know about the third party apps. Thats nice that someone is finally doing something other than LBRY. They've tried to get people do that for several years now.
That was alway one thing I liked about the lbry protocol. It can do video, audio and text files. I just didnt like that it all seemed to come from one place. I can rmember when LBRY was just a fresh beta app available only in the Ubunut repos. I tried it and it would barely work cause there was barely 50-100 users back then. I didnt check it out seriously for a couple of years and they had the first release of the Anderoid app.
Dont get me wrong on all this. I wasnt hating on the protocol or LBC. I just dont like a few things about them as a company. The tech is fricking awesome though.
I wanted to share farming content on Hive but got ignored. Wanted share Korean natural farming content on Hive but ignored. I wanted to start making deepdive content but got ignored. I started sharing curation posts and started getting some traction but still that was a one way street.
I am in a weird place in life where freedom of speech and standing up for others got me burned but still feel inclined to do it. So clearly freedom of speech is not something Hive is for much less this community in Boise Idaho.
Seems I need to just step away from Hive and expectations. I want to stand up for people and freedom. Seems a great opportunity exists for me to do that in Portland. There seems to be freedom cells and a Rainbow family presence I can align with there. My kids are there, My kids mother kidnapped them and took them there and had law enforcement and family courts laugh about it as well as people on Hive. Also the Soil Food Web organization is there. So it seems I am in transition and have to go there. It feels right.
Being ignored is not what you are equating it to be. Being ignored is that there is no audience for that content.
Again it is your decision. I'm just stating that what you are saying isn't true. You just have to fi d your audience. It may not be here on Hive.
Free Speech means you can say what you want. It doesn't guarantee that people will listen.
Ok so no audience for gardening or farming content for Hive. So yeah what then.
Change to something else you are passionate about. Just keep going until you find something that connects.
Or go look for somewhere else.
Or try to bring that audience here with you.
Creating content isn't easy. Its hard as hell. Finding an audience is harder. Making Content for that specific audience is even harder.
There's literally no place on earth someone can just walk in and say "I'm here! Heres my content, Like me!".
I have mad respect for a lot of people on Hive because of how long they've been here already. They aren't coders or crypto influencers or anything like that. They blog, podcast vlog, draw, make music, etc. But you know what? They found an audience eventually. They stuck it out through thick and thin. They didn't get mad and run. The buckled down and worked harder on their content.
Again you have to answer your own question. Why are you on Hive?
Hive is not a get rich scheme. It's not a way to make money off of cat videos. It's not just so someone can say stuff to offend people in every possible way.
Hive isn't a place that guarantees creators will get paid. Its not a market place.
It's a tool for people to use.
Hive is just a tool. What you choose to do with it is up to you.

I have used Hive for LOTS of different things and never looked at it as a get rich quick scheme. You should probably look into my HSBI shares, my Hive power delegation purchase history with dynamicsteemians, my spt investments, sps investments, SPL card investments as well as the thousands of different posts that I made in the past. You are aimlessly saying things without doing any research.

3 I dont "do research" on people. I actually talk with them and get to know them as a person before I decide whether its worth putting effort into cultivating a friendship with them. I can and usually do end up being everybodys friend. I had never heard of you until you popped into the 3Speak discord.
To be completely honest this conversation is becoming tiresome and somewhat disjointed. I was trying to offer help to what I thought was someone trying to reach out with questions about content creation. But it sounds more a drama filled quest. I mean you've been here since the steemit days. So you should know better than I about content creation on Hive.
