Hello!
After I had taken Miro to school – yes I still take him to school while being sick, as he doesn't want to ride his bike in the snow and the public transport from our apartment is not ideal – I took a quick detour via the lake Merrasjärvi, and saw these new birds.
I did wonder what species they were, but luckily in editing I found out it was tattooed on their tail: "Gritbird". There was also a web address, but I seem to have managed to add some motion blur on this photo, I had to search the web, and got the answer.
They appear to be outdoor fitness equipment based on mainly bodyweight exercises. They are made by a Finnish company.
I've not seen them before, but my boys told me they've seen more of them around since last Autumn. Quite a nice idea, as they are not major eyesores like outside exercise equipment normally are.
I'll have to check them out. Here's a video I found of the exercices you can do on them.

Wow! The winter there is quite hard, snow is all over! We can’t live in such cold weather! We will probably get a flu every week!
