I think that you allowing users to milk the platform with your app is a bigger problem

Posted via D.Buzz#GuiltyParties himself told us.that only 2% of.our users.are abusers, so you are.exaggerating.

alright, myself and other teams will keep an eye on trending then.

Sure, you have that freedom and it's okay.

  • I am against the words some of you guys use while you guys represent yourself as the moderators of #HIVE.

But I am NOT against disagreements over rewards.. the market can place its course for that 🙂

Posted via D.Buzz

Agreed, I definitely despise those groups that take policing the chain into their own hands

Posted via D.Buzz

Not only that, they comment to new users propping themselves up as if they are the be all authority of what can and cannot be posted to #HIVE.

  • Posted via D.BuzzAll the while receiving about $3,000 HBD for this poor representation via the #HIVE DAO.

i am onboard with you

Take note, its not only the judgement calls that need transparency, but the way they talk to and treat users.

Posted via D.Buzz@guiltyparties is easy to talk to but I have found @logic to be full of hatred with tunnel vision as if every single person that doesn't post long-form is a scammer.

I think we're mostly reasonable people.
And I already replied in the other thread:

image.png

I have had some pretty horrible experiences in terms of what would be acceptable.

  • I was called low trash, a scammer and racist remarks were even direct at our Devs

Posted via D.BuzzIt was never posted on-chain by @hivewatchers or any of the "abuse fighters" it was kept private

@chrisrice That's unfortunate and I can't comment to that. PS. Maybe it was @jaguar.force? I know he was over the line sometimes.. 😌

Just try to moderate your community appropriately and they should be fine with your project.

@chrisrice

I was called low trash, a scammer and racist remarks were even direct at our Devs

These are utter lies. I will not tolerate this.

Provide evidence that I have ever directed such remarks towards you or your "devs".
Please post her the screenshots of these conversations!!!

You were quick to accuse me of lying @logic, and that's how quick you accuse others of lying, being scammers and ill-intended plageriasts.

  • You are NOT qualified to represent the #HIVE community from a position of authority.

Posted via D.BuzzTAG: @keys-defender @snacky @starkers @theycallmedan

Off-chain like where? Liar

Provide evidence. I want to see the screenshots to prove this:

Screenshot 2021-03-22 at 22.21.46.png

You are a liar and I call you for what you are.
Like I said. I will not tolerate smearing lies.

Ask @guiltyparties, and the other people who were there.

  • @keys-defender tagged the person it was, who lost support after his dealings with our team

All of it was off-chain, and you + him communicate to users in a similar way

Posted via D.Buzz

Well, as a matter of fact he has been banned by their discord. The action of a single user does not represent the whole team.

I have all the records of what I said to you. I was right.

Ummm, we are a censorship resistany Web 3 Dapp.

  • Not one of the centralized apps that you'll notice are always used to back am agenda

Our agenda is free speech, nothing else, and we only remove links/images of:

  1. Blatant Scams
  2. Child Porn
  3. Phishing

And . . .

Posted via D.Buzz

And we'll create decentralized tools for users to moderate what THEY do and don't want to see for themselves.

Posted via D.BuzzIt's called decentralization, vs. a centralized nut job like @logic / @hivewatchers telling people what is good and bad content.

They already can mute accounts or follow the decentralized ban lists

what did you create?, your dbuzz shit still cant do shit after 7 months

I think that if you add plagiarism you’ll be on the same page of the “watchers”

Not so sure about that .... The "watchers" have a very twisted logic about "plagiarism"

Posted via D.Buzz

Yeah, not really.

  • Do you know they were harrassing one of our users for "stealing a meme".

But what are memes created for? Their created for sharing!

  • They have also targeted posts from owners who should be the one's to represent their own content, not HW.

    Posted via D.Buzz

I gave it a quick thought and I think you could improve the "spammy" reputation of your project having it automatically set the posts max payout based on the length of the "tweet":
ie.@chrisrice

  • posts with length below a certain min threshold1 (eg. 250 characters) automatically deny payout
  • posts with length above the threshold1 and below threshold2 (eg. 500 characters) have max payout of X (eg. $1 ?)
  • etc (more thresholds or just no limits above threshold2)

And no, we don't have a "spammy reputation" we have a good one minus the @hivewatchers tyrant.

  • At least privately via direct message, @guiltyparties has never called us a spam app.

Posted via D.BuzzIt was only @logic, the autoritarian behind @hivewatchers.

We have skin in the game and a lot of it.

  • @hivewatchers has none or to put it another way, their skin in the game is that they remain the "Watchers" of HIVE.

Our skin in the game is building an amazing use case, that adds value and makes our large investment worth it.

Posted via D.Buzz

I disagree that there should be any correlation between post size and max accepted value.

Wow, that does sound like an idea and we will likely impliment it.

  • But it's not much of an issue since if you notice, super short Buzz's usually don't earn much anyways

We have a goos curatoe, not perfect since no one is, but good.

Posted via D.Buzz

@chrisrice I think that your pending release of blacklists and applying that scaled max_payout for text-only posts would calm down everyone.

Maybe I can even throw in the same for one dbuzz top creator every month.@christice as (non-elected) mediator between the 2 parts. I propose that if you apply the max_payout suggestion above, I will support the @dbuzz account adding it to my database so that @marcocasario will give it a $ 0.20 upvote every day.

No one here is against freedom of speech, the only issue is monetization of low quality or illegitimate content 👍

Meanwhile, many authors earn $30 - $60 USD per post.

  • It's long-form, but it's not always spread among new members and new talent as much as the same authors are earning those high amounts, day after day

Still a good system, but pennies are being argued over vs. dollars

Posted via D.Buzz

They do but (hopefully) most of them worked hard to get known and to get their content appreciated.
I know it’s just pennies but I think the argument of the “Hive watchers” is that your system could be abused by farmers and wouldn’t be easy to detect and control.
That could get to significant bucks removed from the pool (and therefore other users).

My point of view is that as far as those short tweets are contained within a community it’s not spam.

Okay, I can see the role being valuable but it doesn't mean they are doing a good job at it.

  • Governments around the world talk about keeping people safe, which would be good, but they are hitting innocent protestors in the head in the name of it

Posted via D.Buzz@hivewatchers is similar IMO

Also, let the #FreeMarket decide.

  • If we provide a good use case, and onboard the masses, we win.

And our six figure investment in terms of USD results in success, if not, we lose.

  • Posted via D.BuzzWhy do we need @hivewatchers intervening and saying whatbis destined to succeed or fail?

untitled.gif

@dbuzz has a very solid reputation.

I have found @guiltyparties to be reasonable, doesn't always work since @hivewatchers acts out of step, but yes, @guiltyparties is reasonable.

  • Posted via D.Buzz@logic is not reasonable, and suffers from tunnel vision, possibly due to relying on the Hive Proposal he gets paid through.
