RE: This is something I do not understand. All who are on this list - welc ...

No, I am not offended. I am rather surprised. Putting people on the mute/ignore list just because they do not stake their POB and LEO or whatever tokens is simply nonsense. We are not breaking any rules here. Investing is everyone's own choice/decision and responsibility.

Sort:

I disagree
he spends some time curating and he doesn't want to spend time going through these people's posts
productivity-wise it makes sense

So people, who does not stake their tokens does not deserve curation, even if they produce good content? And what if someone suddenly start staking? He will not even see it, nor their posts, because he muted/ignored (basically blocked) them.

not with his specific stake
he's not stopping other people who would want to curate these guys' posts
you're not banned from the platform you know
you act as if you were

We are not breaking any rules here.

Sure you are not !
And because of that, I do not attempt to apply to these "nonstakers" any prosecution or punishment. Nor any downvotes. Not at all.
I just simply do NOT want to see them, not any such people, nor their posts or comments. And I have a right to do so.

More so, I wanted to do it openly, so anyone can know in advance, without doubt, what is the prime reason they never will get my upvotes. Nothing more than that.

Do you really think every possible author mandatory deserves my upvotes?
If so, would you care to explain, WHY?

Where do you see a problem at all in this MUTE/IGNORE ???

Do you really think every possible author deserves my upvotes?

I did not said such a thing. We are talking about muting/ignoring (basically blocking) people. No one deserves to be blocked just/only for not investing. Muting/ignoring them just/only for that is simply a punishment, and a kind of censorship. Fortunately/luckily not many people do this.

I'm staked 1337 POB, and get no support from the main accounts on POB, only downvotes, because I upvoted a few of my own comments. Forget about the fact that I support new posts right on the front end, reward comment engagement and get zero in return from the main accounts other than downvotes. Yeah great look on the peeps in charge...

You shouldn't be getting downvotes because of self-voting. Last time I checked, that wasn't illegal unless the vote itself was excessive. Excessive to me would be like if I posted just a picture and then upvoted myself 20 POB.

Rewards disagreement? Maybe. Were your downvotes equivalent to your upvote value? Just trying to understand the problem.

... unless the vote itself was excessive.

I wonder what level is "excessive" on your valuation scale, @scholaris.pob ?
Does 58+% or even 28% of all voting power on SELFVOTING own COMMENTS is not excessive enough?

(it does not matter if done from the same account, or hiding from another, alternative account of the same person)
Look closer at his alt account @futurebrain - this alt account created for one simple reason - to hide his greedy selfvotes. Account with zero posts, 6 comments, zero followers, zero following, 1HP Hive stake and 100 delegated HP, only to maintain the minimum level of RC, keeping ONLY the POB tokens, which all comes from his other account. It is all so obvious what his goals are.

And now, once caught, still has enough insolence to argue, and to blaim against those who unmasked his abuse and his nature.
Open your eyes, people.

Good morning. My level of knowledge about this is poor so I'm relegated to asking questions. Excessive to me would have been a full upvote for minimal, or no, posting content. Your example isn't far off the mark so that's a new standard for me to learn from. I followed his response to your justification post and it seemed like he agreed with you.

And now, once caught, still has enough insolence to argue, and to blaim against those who unmasked his abuse and his nature.

It's a natural response to rewards removal, I think. That will change with consistency and the justification. As far as I understood it, you are justified as disagreement on rewards is allowed. The standard is changing to against self-voting. It's a little confusing to me, but as I'll have to start looking at rewards eventually I need to learn as much as I can.

I guess its excessive in my case, even though I power up 100% and support the POB community!!!! Meanwhile he's upvoting comments 10X what he removed from single comments from me and they are about equal length! If that's not some hypocritical shit idk what is.
