Yup. Or a niche community with much engagement; they are like magnets for people with the same interests. We have positive examples like C/Feathered Friends but it would be good to see more such communities on Hive. There are some but they starve without the attention of large curators, and that's where we come across HivePosh again: by sharing Hive posts on Reddit any community can reach OCD support (HivePosh rewards are based on OCD).

Syria is a tough topic and a politically difficult country so it could be they (r/Syria) didn't want your share to be seen and heard in their community because [anything political]. Secondly, your account has low karma so some subreddits can ignore you for that reason (although really not many of them). As for r/BaliTravelTips, it's quite often to get nothing (1-3 upvotes) for sharing travel posts. So keep trying if you have time for that. Also consider reading Promoting Hive on Reddit: A Beginner's Guide.

Combine increased visitor numbers with the ads on peakd and we might start to generate more revenue for the whole eco-system.

yessss supercool!!! What an initiative and sees how it pays off. Keep it rolling and let the users roll in and get more familiar with Hive!
What would also help greatly is if Google would play nice and put Hive-related search results on the top when warranted. Right now the best chance of getting visibility seems to be to share the link on Reddit and let Google pick up the title of your Reddit post.
