You really do feel alive. Before I jump I feel sick and not sure why I'm doing it but in the back of my head I know that if I don't jump a cliff that I know is relatively safe I will regret it. After you come up out of the water and you are safe it is an incredible feeling. Like you are a god king! Then walking around the rest of the day you for sure feel like a BOSS! Jumping the cliff at Lake Havasu earlier this year was a big deal for me considering I had jumped it before!
Thanks for sharing your photographs, the first one for Lake Havasu is stunning! That Laso Schaller jump was incredible. Holy wow. Its hard to imagine jumping that high up into that small of a body of water.

I feel ya. The top guys have pushed this so far in the last year that I don't see how they can keep going higher and more insane. I worry all the time that one of them will die or get VERY seriously injured.
Thanks, what really haunts me or even just stories of how people got hurt. Sometimes when I watch those top guys videos I get scared because I place myself on the cliff and get a small fraction of the fear that I would get if I was there looking over the edge.

Yeah it does feel like pavement. If the water is unbroken you pretty much need to land on your feet. That is the safest way in. I recommend wearing shoes. Chase Reinford doesn't wear shoes even on the big jumps which really surprises me. There are a lot of things that could go wrong. I saw a guy who jumped off an 80 footer get slightly hurt and he said when he hit the water it made his legs to the splits. He was able to walk but it sort of hurt him.

Yeah all those top guys blow my mind. Laso was going so fast on impact it become unbelievable that he didn't get injured worse.
