The Challenge: At least 100 honest reps of exercise every day. No excuses. No bullsh*t. Just actions, positivity, and results. Only post AFTER your reps are done.
If you can't contribute yet, try to eat natural foods and stay well hydrated without the sugar for now.
It's ok to start with a number you're comfortable with if you can't reach 100. You choose what exercises to do.
30 minutes of dedicated brisk walking, running, or SPINNING (new) can count as 100 reps if you're unable to lift or need to rest.
My Daily Challenge Completed - 105 reps:
-90 Push-ups
-15 Triangle Push-ups
My Daily Assessment:
Not a fun day with my parents helping my Dad in a semi-hospice capacity. As a plus, I've been eating well and "powering up" on protein while visiting. I weighed myself for the first time since Christmas or before, and up to 206 lbs, the heaviest I've ever been, but in a good way. My prior max weight was 202 lbs, when I had much less muscle, but I'm thinking that a decent portion is from the work I've put into my legs recently. I do want to try to stay in the 200-205 range so I feel flexible and fast enough for baseball soon. I gain bulk quickly, so I don't want to push it. I'll revisit when I see my 60 day progress picture.
Feedback from @mightpossibly:
"I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."
Please see my first post linked below for my motivation, the challenge background, rules, and details for the Steemit Silver Coin prize! It's also got some personal stuff about why I'm doing this, so it could be a good motivator.

No worries old chum, you deserve the kudos
Daily Challenge Completed (510 reps)
Rest Day
Haha I always laugh at your rest day being 3-5x my regular day. I guess that's why I look like I do right now.
Challenge Completed - 100 reps
100 push ups.
After waking up yesterday morning feeling ok, throughout the day I started to feel very average again. Glands were a bit swolen too.
Hopefully today I will be feeling better by the end of the day :)
If you do happen to get sick (hopefully not), you're still going to have to do toe raises or something...
Haha yeah busting out those pushups were a challenge, feeling a bit better now. Still a bit flat but up for a gym session :D
Just need to chuck on a bit of ronnie coleman to get motivated ;)
Challenge Completed - 100 reps
30 minute run
Today was a typical rest day. I didn't do any exercise because my whole body is sore. Squats will be fun tomorrow :D
Trek on trooper. I know the feeling from never taking a day off, but I hate running so I'm stuck with the weights.
Challenge Completed - today 215 reps
Physical
100 reps - Walking 30 minutes X 2 - includes down and up elevation of 300 ft
10 reps - yoga asanas - 10 min X 2
5 reps - pranayama (yogic breathing exercises) 5 min X 2
Mental
100 reps = 1+ hours X 2 Transcendental Meditation and advanced TM-Sidhi (morning and evening)
Well done as per the norm now!!
Thanks.

What advice do you have for someone in position like mine?It is nice to see that there is someone on this site pushing for fitness! @steemmatt I was out of gym for the last 6 months at this point(previously I was going to the gym for over a year) and I am about to start hitting the gym again next week
Start slowly. Try this combination 5 sets of (10 squats+10 push ups)
Thanks! I have more stamina than that, I didn´t go to gym for 6 months but I still regularly do push ups and sit ups (not even closely like when I was in the gym but still something)
Sure thing.
I play baseball and partially tore my UCL in my throwing arm to knock me off the weights/gym track for 2.5 years while it healed slowly and naturally. I haven't been to the gym since 1/11/17, and have only started working out exactly when this challenge started. I've only done push-ups, sit-ups, and used a W ez-curl bar with 25 pounds on each side for the entire time to keep the ramp up process simple and steady. I'll be going back to the gym fairly soon now that I've gotten some of my core strength back. I hate going to the gym when I'm weak.
@rmsbodybuilding is a professional fitness trainer, so I'll defer to him, but definitely don't overdo it for the first few times. If you can hit 100 reps, hit that and stop/stretch. You can do some of your reps without weights at all like air squats, calf raises, push-ups, and sit-ups/crunches. If you have weights, don't rush into them.
If you contribute here, post what you're doing and people will guide along the way.
Oh that sucks man...
Luckly I never had to deal with such an major injury myself
I find baseball as an really really itneresting sport, sadly I don´t know too much about it since it is not that popular in Europe
Which position do you play in baseball?
I play all of the infield positions, including pitching and catching behind the plate. I can play outfield, but not much anymore.
I've seen this a few times but never got a chance to read the post until now! Great idea and concept to help people move more! I am a certified master trainer, so I stress this to my clients all the time! Progress Not Perfection is my motto! Now I gotta start counting my reps for the challenge! On my way to the gym right now!
Thanks a lot for checking this out. It's been very helpful for me to stay accountable, and sometimes in making the reps seem like the easy part (when considering that I have to crunch all of the numbers to update each post). Usually the reps are the hard part, so it's a win for me in the long term. Feel free to drop your reps in and join us. It'll be good for motivation (don't think you need any), and more exposure for all.
Awesome!! We ALL need some extra motivation every now and again! Lol My reps for today 355!💪😎
6 exercises legs and abs 3 sets of 15-20 reps (One exercise 3 sets of 10..Pikes are hard...lol)
Hack Squats
Squat Thrusts
Plyo squats (TRX)
Kneeling Rollouts (TRX)
Suspended Oblique Knee pullins (TRX)
TRX Pikes
Ooh and 30 minutes on the Elliptical and 10 min run on Treadmill (updated the total)
255 reps is a nice way to make a splash here! Would you mind sharing a small overview of what you did so others can get a glimpse into your workout magic and potentially some ideas for their regiments?
I updated it for you!😉
Now we're talking!! Look at all that! Thank you.
Going forward, please keep the formula of 30 minute intervals of cardio per 100 reps (which you seem to have factored accurately anyway). This is just to keep it clean and easy for everyone in the long run. Bad pun not intended (mostly).
Will do, thanks.
Very cool initiative to discover. Thank you for the motivation. This helps me get in my morning Jog. And This will be nice in my weekly curation magazine.
Thanks for finding this and taking the time to check it out and comment. Knowing that others benefitted from this initiative is what helps me get through my reps and posting these without fail. Hope you had a nice run. If it was over 30 minutes, feel free to record it here to join the club. Every 30 minutes is 100 reps.
Challenge completed - 326 reps:
As stated two days ago, I don't know the names for the reps I'm doing yet, just focusing on doing them for now. I will learn in time, but need to pace myself.
Here's todays soundtrack (edit: I replaced the song with another one from the same album - The previous one had some very uncool lyrics that I'd completely forgotten about)
Doing the exercises gives the results. The names don't matter as they don't give the results. Just keep going.
Wow you've really ramped up on the volume. Nice!
I have to scratch the 10 minutes of cardio since 30 minutes is the minimum to count to keep it the same for everyone.
I've actually never heard the RHCP song before.
Thanks, guys! I agree that the cardio should be scratched.
Yeah, that RHCP song is from their llittle known second album "Freakey Styley", from way before they became hip and were just some crazy kids. This entire album was actually produced by George Clinton (the "King of Funk" for those that didn't know). A very interesting collaboration project with a very unique sound.
Adding in @khufu's 1/31 workout of 143 reps per his linked blog post:
