On Sunday evening I bought my first whey protein shake ever. By Monday I already had in hands. It made me feel so pro lol like I am really going for it, you know what I mean?

I never really cared about suplements or these stuff. I was always broken to spend my money on them, and I DO believe you can lose weight without it and still feel healthy too. But, after months trying to find a solution to my breakfast, I got myself drinking my boyfriend's whey protein shake in the morning (that sounds nasty lol). So fast and handy. Last week he bought another supply, without of course checking with me the flavor, and bought something I'm not a big fan of. Whey Protein Chocolate flavor.

It sounds weird coming from a woman, but I'm not a fan of things chocolate flavored, like cakes or milkshake, but chocolate itself. I do drink some chocolate milk, but it's not every brand that pleases me. I don't know why, since I eat everything! Anyways, I bought a weight protein low calorie shake to drink in the morning and after workout. I tried it many times with water, but today I tried it with milk and... Holly Baby Jesus! That's so damn yummy, I picked Cookie and Cream flavor after reading the reviews, also got a shaker (?), an extra one to take away and another whey sachet to try - a gym rat is born!

I feel so happy I finally found a solution to my morming meals! I don't need to open the fridge and stare at my food anymore. I also love to treat myself with things that will boost me in the gym. In the end I was happy he picked chocolate so I could try and buy something new and delicious. So in love with this new phase of my life!

All artificial ways have extreme limitations. You need to follow slow but effective way like Yoga and others. You are yet cute in spite of being fatty.

I have worked in a gym in Kenya for the last two years, i never really encouraged my clients to use any of these artificial suppliements coz i believe that they are not 100% okay. but gal, you are looking great. and you are not alone in the hate for chocolate, i don't like anything chocolaty except for chocolate flavoured milk.

Yep, I'll try to have proper breakfast instead in some days of the week, don't want to lean 100% of the time on it. And thank you so much, dear! <3

j/k good that you found out that it works for you, it'll make it a LOT easier to keep up. I can wholeheartedly recommend the Banana Flavor. The chocolate one made me gag as well (had that from tasting sachet). And yes, with milk is KING.

protip If you guys have a blender, use that instead of the manual shaker. It'll almost be like drinking a milkshake then.

I think I'm going to buy those small blenders you know? It's way easier, think it mixes it better indeed. I have a banana toffee to try! can't wait lol :)

yeah one of those 'Magic Bullet' type blenders .... I still need to get me one of those as well ..

Yes the chocolate flavour has never been a good one, I go for cookies n cream or strawberry.

I think it's wise not to make having one a daily event, perhaps save for post-workout?

The best weight loss method in my opinion is an uphill walk. I say walk because you want to be doing this for at least 40 mins, and preferably longer! For the first half hour you are going through carb stores, but then things change as those stores deplete and the body looks for something else to start using for fuel.

The bike is good for lower body, the rower is great for all round (try doing that for 45 mins though!), and another i like is the cross-trainer to alternate with the treadmill cause there is minimal impact on the feet/ankles/legs, and you still get the upper body burn too.

I'm soon going to change my workout! I don't so treadmill tbh, I'm so afraid of falling and hitting my head lol but I do bike and cross trainer, mostly 40min of cardio 5 days a week and weights. I think it's going great, but let's see in a couple of weeks. Thanks for the tips! :)
