Yes i think we agree with it's obvious that larger scale investors will want to invest in large early big networks. I think sometimes the hive community doesn't think on a larger scale. They often times think immediate wants and needs. however to achieve what many would like to see. You're going to need to attract people from the mainstream which the big investors will take notice of.
So the question becomes what does it take to achieve a larger network. Like it's no way around that unless you looking to have like 1 quadrillionaire who fuels the network. So alot of crypto is this way. They got maybe one elon musk and he fuels much of teh market. The problem is crypto does have competition and competitive market places amongst themselves.
So first of all if i am that big investor i'm probably going to take a chance on the likes of the ethereum's bitcoin.. top 10 cryptos before i take a chance on a 200 place crypto. So this is something the hive community will have to come to terms with. They'll have to think longterm.
When you look at a project you gotta first look at ideas like bitcoin myk. The money part and what you earn on a speculative investment should come second. Because this isn't how these large scale investors think that you all may be hoping arrives. These guys looking at like in 5 years are you going to be the one? Why are you going to be the one? Who else is going to be out there to challenge that issue.
if i invest a billion bucks can witnesses collude and create another justin sun situation. Can they live off the fat of the land and is the risk worth me having to worry about all that. So all that comes into play. However the most important part will still remain why is everyone going to come here in the first place?
Thats why i believe in teh future projects like bitcoin myk and bbd will make more sense. because what is the mainstream use to? they are use to what seems to be free social media usuage. Like you can't find anybody today who would be opting to pay to use social media. Now if they come to hive they aren't going to be too crazy about investing then. So the focus should be on the network and why people come and who will come. not on is this a good investment for me personally and that's why i buy hive power etc.,
Now granted someway this has to be paid for . However i think it's still a mistake that the end user has to directly pay for this. It should be offest indirectly and that's why mainstream is so successful. Image if facebook today went everyone has to pay for their accounts. they'd go out of business overnite.
so bitcoin myk has not only achieved not only a simple user friendly interface people already know how to use. It's free and voting power is free and the network is free. So in the future i believe all the models will work this way. It's just that these paid models will be dying out and models like bitcoin myk will be the order of the day. So those are my researched thoughts and so far bitcoin myk has done everything i predicted as far as value and growth and being free. it proved my theory you can be free and still be worth alot of money.

I agree. Although, I do think hive is thinking longer term and bigger picture than it has in the past. The value of the HBD has gone up, and partly due to the fact that they have changed how posts are curated, and more decentralized. It's smart. It's a smart move -- assuming there is a long term plan for all the new users that join. And I'm sure there is.
I dunno. I disagree. I think the only way to get influencers in here is marketing to them. If they knew about it, they'd be here. Period. They would bring their followers as well. I think we want them here, but we also are only so big and can handle only so much at this point.
We gotta grow incrementally, imho.
Cuz we aren't very big. There is not a lot to pluck from here yet. You still have to invest
a lot here to get huge upvotes, for the most part. And that formula doesn't work as much anymore The formula here is not based on any advertising or "thumbs up" algorithm they can hack. And it's too much of a guessing game on getting followers. It's just not something they understand or want to fuss with. So they leave.
