  • I'll award 1 SBD for every 10,000 rep milestone. (34 SBD paid out)
  • I run the numbers daily which is sometimes harder than my reps.

  • Start your reply with "Challenge Completed".
  • Reply with a list of the exercises and reps you did.

From @musclegirlfusion:

"Since I started posting in this challenge, you've given me a reason to blog on steemit. No matter how discouraged I get when it seems like no one is reading what I write, I know I can write it and post it here and it adds to the challenge. So thank you for giving me the motivation I need to stick with blogging!!"

From @bitfiend:

"After starting 6 days ago I already feel stronger. This is definitely the most consistent exercise I've done in an extremely long time but I am happy to be taking part! While I walk around mostly in pain, I know it's all for a good cause! My health! I am feeling better and I'd say my sickness is mostly gone now. I think that if I had not been exercising, I may have been sick for a bit longer. Persistence pays off!"

From @mightpossibly:

"I find it deeply satisfying to do these reps, which is a big deal. I've always hated the gym and prefer to exercise at home. But I've lacked the discipline to do it. It sort of feels like I have gym buddies now, without the hassle of going to the gym."

From @notorious562:

"I seriously cannot explain how much this group pushes and motivate me to keep working harder. I love this fitness community and the support and encouragement will help us achieve our goals."

From @khufu:

"Your challenge has helped immensely to keep me motivated lately. I've had a lot of... problems going on so your challenge has been a quantum of sanity in an insane world for me."

Great work! Will be added them to your total. How has your baseball season going?

So far so good. I pitched for the second time during our last games since my shoulder had healed and threw 6 innings for the win and 3 earned runs. My knuckleball was on fire. I started hitting like crazy at the beginning of the year, but have settled down to .382, which is still awesome. Leading my team in hits, RBI and RUNS so far.

That is awesome brother! I am glad this season has been nothing but successful for you.

Daily Challenge Completed: 305 reps
5x20 pushups
4x15 Barbell Curl
3x15 Seated Dumbbell Press
150 sit-ups

I took a needed resting day and only got to 90 honest reps so challenge not completed.

I think we should make an exception this time and give @byebyehamburgers 100 reps just for his honesty, AND getting those 90 reps in even when it's a rest day :)!

Hey no shame in that. You did more than anyone who decided to take the day off. I have learned that its actually okay to take a few days off when necessary. I used to feel so guilty when I didn't post. Just hit it harder tomorrow. Hope you enjoyed your rest day.

Next time you feel so inclined, sneak in some calf raises or air squats for 25 seconds and you'll be happier you did.

I ate a lot of food so i can home and I focused on my 2 different challenges and completed both of the with 50 push ups and squats. Each day I focus on knocking out some push ups and squats for my #50pushupchallenge and #50squatchallenge. I am hoping people start to join me on this new challenge. If you are interested hit me up or resteem it get more people on board. I hope that someone out there is inspired and motivated with my daily post. I would love to hear people success stories so please comment them below.

It took me a while to get my first people in my challenge. Just keep posting with interesting comments/pics for it and people will find it.

Thanks for the support brother! Slow and steady, but I am sure things will start picking up in the next few months.

I don't know if you have started counting high knees and jumping jacks with cardio.

I had mentioned in several replies to past comments you simply may not have seen. High knees certainly are cardio in my eyes and the feedback of several others... Jumping jacks are ideally calisthenics/cardio if we compare the nature of them to weights. A good way to look at this is by how long it takes you do them and in how many sets. This isn't to take away from your hard work, but I have to try to keep it equitable for everyone.

Noted

Another reason is because if people are counting them as reps, new people to the challenge see that and start using them as reps too, which makes it tricky to try to keep them on the right track. Thanks for understanding. I'm sure they add up to some good cardio, and you're kicking your own ass at the gym to have a good reputation, so not much is lost here.

Maybe it's an idea to have a daily maximum that can be counted for the challenge. In the end what this is a about (the way I see it) is a very good way for steemians to get daily motivation by being surrounded by like minded people. The support that is being given in the comments is so good that prize you give out for every 10.000 reps that are completed should not be something it is all about. Making it so that it's takes less time for you to count and not expensive to host in the long run would be a good thing for everyone.

Well said. I totally agree.

Thank you for the feedback and idea. I agree. I've been starting to informally cap some reps in recent days along those lines to feel it out. The time it takes to make the posts does add up a lot. To put it this way, each post takes at least 30 minutes, and I've done it 155 times. Ouch...

Agreed sir and understood. I like your approach to this. Good day

I understands everyone's thoughts and respect them all. But I that everyone interpretation of cardio varies. Like if we were to count high knees or hand grips it would be a high amount of reps for some people. I remember when I tried jump roping and used those reps which jump roping is one great workout and I was told that it would be counted as cardio. I had no issue counting it as cardio. We need to remember @steemmatt is human and I think sometimes people are more concerned about their total rep count then the whole purpose of this challenge. Which is to encourage and motivate people to become healthy.

So on vacay but that doesnt stop me!!! 487!!!!!! Woowoot! CHECK IT OUT! Beach pics to come!
