Nowadays, to get admitted in school or get a job, also connections you've made in the past can be of help to you tomorrow, that is why it's always advised not to burn down bridges when parting ways with some one.
'My recent happening with connection'
I recently got a very high paying client through the connection of a very low paying customer, me and her dey always argue for price like kilode, sometimes, her complain sef go make you tire and frustrated coupled with her low payments, sometimes, I almost vex say I no see for her again, not knowing that her colleagues in the office were always admiring her dresses, both cooperate and native wears, and asked her where she do shop from, when she told them they were not readymade but sewn by a tailor, they were surprised, immediately, she linked me up with them, and guess what, they always triple her payment without pricing O, so you see, connection from her got me better clients.

Yeah, in real like, connection is important, if not you'll just see yourself moving around a circle without getting to your destination. There bare some school that will never admit you even though you have a high grades.. even someone who grade was lower than yours will be admitted... that's one crazy things about connection, it's so powerful. There is a saying that goes thus " If you're not connected, you'll be disconnected" and that's the truth. connection will always bring us closer to opportunities we never thought we would have. There are some things we might think it's impossible, but through connection we see ourselves achieving them, so who would ever say that connection is not important?
Most times, we need to leverage on other people to achieve our aim. In our country today, connection Plays a good role when it comes to hunting for a good job. In a country where there are billions of citizens, we can not expect the government to come and pick us as the person fit for the job when there's a lot of competition, we need a stronger hand above to be connected with in other to get the opportunity... However, we can get the job without a connection if and only if a miracle happens... hehehe
Apart from getting a job, connection has a lot to do in every spheres of our lives. Even as a business owner, there's a way you'll Work with others to get connections in growing the business, so the importance of connection can not be underestimated.
I have benefited a lot from connection, but I will be sharing just one. I could still remember when I have not yet gained admission, I just done with my secondary education then, instead of Staying at home, I had to search for a place where I will work with good pay, ( nobody wey no like money, nah from my mama belle), I had to go and meet someone to get me connected with the manager, and fortunately, it was successful...On a normal day, I wouldn't have gotten the work without the connection, because the place is so selective, application letter don't even work, one can only achieve it through connection, anything apart from a connection is by the grace of God...lol

Connection for me is like magnets, like poles attract unlike poles repel. When people see me or even watch from a distance their judging eyes are already speaking their minds , because am different in way that doesn't appeal to them well I remind myself that OTHER PEOPLES PERCEPTION OF ME AINT MY BUSINESS . Some people don't like the idea of having conversations that center around discussing about animals ,the environment how we can live in harmony with nature etc. And that's my kind of discussion and to some people , well most people find it boring , well they also have the right to personal thinking and freeness of mind .
Some years ago , say 6years I met someone , I can't really picture the scenario of how we met I try to but I just can't remember much , but we immediately had this connection when we started having a conversation . He has this idealistic mindset as I had and it made us really connect in a way I haven't with anyone , it was like I was seeing a mirror version of myself in someone else body and he became my closest friend ever since. So for me connection may vary yes it may be that of a business connection or visa travel connection whatever it may be . But the connection between those whose mindset , beliefs and views are in tune with yours are by far the best such as finding a friend or your soulmate. I implore @essygold1 and @meymeyshops

This connection has helped me a lot. So there was this day, I was at the school park queuing just like every other student. My tired my was very tired and I was patently for when bus go reach me.
Then a car parked and the woman in it called my name. When I got there I discovered that she is my uncle's colleague and we had only met once. She is also a lecturer and lecturers hardly offer students free ride.
Anyways, she asked me to enter along with one of my friends.
The transport fare from school is just N80. It was not the money but because help came just at the right time and I did not end up spending long hours on the queue.
You can imagine the person of connection with your experience. sometimes, I wonder how things would have been without connection.
Thank God you are able to get the help you needed at the right time.
Yeahhhhhh we all need this 'connect' at some points in our lives and it's just a boost to get us to where we are going.

I have benefited countless times from connection like when I still dy school in my final year when one of my lecturer decided to fail me in one of my course from 200l the course Wey I know fail o just to keep me from graduating that year but unto say my church member na our HOD, I still con get my original 200L result for my phone, na how I scale through his trap abi na when dem close portal for registration Wey I never finish registration because say I know person dem open am overnight for me to complete am.

This syndrome called connection is what you need to break even. It becomes easier to go through a procedure of a high-level protocol with connection. When you have the right persons in the right places, my brother, it is sweet ooo. That's why you have to keep a clog tag on everyone you meet. Anyone is relevant.
