The Chinese do love their real estate. They just keep building and building in that country even though they have like 50 million units unoccupied. It really is an amazing, albeit baffling situation to watch.
That is how they keep capital in the country though. There stock market suck and bonds pay no yield. So real estate is all they are really allowed to invest in.

It is but I don't blame them. There were a bunch of scams happening to when the middle man took the money leaving tenants and homeowners pissed at each other.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
it's also a status symbol, you look well off if you have multiple properties to your name and it's much more likely to find a spouse if you're a dude
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This will obviously end badly as we also learned that their population went down in 2021, first time since 1949.
Too much housing and less people = Crash xD

So Gary Vaynerchuk is creating some NFT project....
His 5 'tips' are interesting to prim people to get ready for this launch....What I found hilarious...
https://www.garyvaynerchuk.com/5-things-to-do-to-best-prepare-for-5-5/
4. Buy ETH
Minimum....1 ETH needed to get involved....
Big marketing guru...ETH fan boy.
Thoughts? ETH anger? lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
At this point, it is good for people to get in and bring others in regardless of how they get here.
We, on Hive, simply need to keep building. Until we have easy to spin up, decentralized smart contracts, we will be lagging. But all that stuff is coming.
When a big name with a huge following starts talking about NFTs and crypto, it can only help.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hope so...But good to see these big talking heads in the marketing world on the crypto bandwagon regardless!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
And that is an arena that can make it spread.
After all, they are marketing heads. LOL
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's a great start, I hope at least one of these people finds out what we are doing here on HIVE.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well we just need to keep building and make sure those devs keep working hard to push out everything. It might take quite a while and we might not be the best at everything though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is true, it only takes 1 or 2 big names to really get blast a coin through the media and start a buying frenzy.
I don't know but I'll get my ETH slowly through publish0x since I don't want to pay the gas fees. I think they are slightly better but still not worth it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
ETH is good but the only bad part with it is gas fee. I hate it
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea the fees are not worth it. I don't consider it worth it either so I plan to just earn it over time and maybe I will have enough for 1 ETH.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea, those fees suck to small investors such as myself. Very hard to use the chain properly
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We are so spoiled on this blockchain lol
Fees...Never heard of her!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
TRUE THAT!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hive is awesome, at only 1% 😀 Do you think that might change when Hive Token hits 5 or 10 dollars a token?
We are definitely very spoiled here with the 2nd layer tokens on top of HIVE.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is a solid plan
I think its better to earn it slowly but I don't earn that much for doing so. It might take me a few years to get there though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Decided that I will be posting there from now. I might not like eth but I cannot deny the support it is getting.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea its small amounts so I don't think I have $1 yet but might as well grab a tiny bit everytime I cross post.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
every penny counts. this much i have learnt. make those coins mate
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
1 ETH can be steep lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Heard about whalechian? Yeah that ethereum
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not really.. what is that?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You talking about these folks?
https://www.whalechain.biz/
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol I was actually referring to ethereum. 🤭
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is good because the link I gave those folks don't even exist anymore! Outfit out of Taiwan.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
He has a huge fanbase. A little bit of a mean streak, but very influential. I prefer Casy Neistat myself. Now if HE starts talking about crypto...

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
1 ETH is peanuts for him.
Personally, I never understood ETH craze. OK, Vitalik is a nice guy yet ...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
ETH has a lot of potential. There are a ton of developers involved.
They have some challenges but not uncommon at this point. Scaling is an issue for most blockchains.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
In my opinion, the biggest problem of every blockchain project is that majority sees it as a get-rich-quick scheme. OK, fiscal transactional systems are great and needed. Yet, the real projects are about the intrinsic value of the content embedded in transactions, not about the price of the token.
In this way, Hive and similar projects differ from other blockchains.
OK, the Ethereum blockchain has smart contracts, a silly name for common code, yet these are clumsy and expensive. There are other blockchains that are better at programming and scalability, decentralization, sharding,... I still hope that Rchain will succeed.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
A lot of what has been done with HIVE Engine and Tribaldex I think is based on what Ethereum does. I could be wrong, but that is how I understand it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It may be, I don't know. The guys behind it should tell :)
Technology is not the same yet we can all learn and do better. I believe this is going on. Doing similar things better on a parallel foundation.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's an interesting news there. Indeed, crypto is quite very immature. We can only see beautiful things begin to happen.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That will limit the number of customers quite strongly. First they need to understand crypto and then they need to have a heavy wallet to deal with ETH.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If a person is attracted to those massive network fees more power to them. I think what everyone is hoping for is that ETH will be the next Bitcoin and all involved will become rich. I have some doubts with those fees and the upcoming forks they will need to deal with, I might just sit back and watch 😀
Lol I don't think I am willing to risk paying those fees in my attempt to become rich. I will rather try somewhere else. I am sure a lot of people are not going to jump on it. Maybe I am wrong. Gary has a large following. I am one of his fanboys but eth is a no no for me. Plus, I am not big on NFTs just yet
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is really what I enjoy most about Hive & the CTP community, we don't have to follow the herd. Here we are able to do things at our speed and still reap many benefits 😀
'High GAS fees' on ETH is the #1 reason for the rise of BSC and other blockchains that solves that problem. ETH HFs will not drastically change this issue overnight. It will still take some time. Until then, it's a golden opportunity for other chains to rise.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
All of that might end up taking months or years to play out. I think the hype and money is the thing that is keeping it up right now because the fees can only go up as ETH goes up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I wish he had explored another blockchain but like Task said, it doesn't matter how people get here, they just need to get here first and explore things for themselves and then decide what blockchain they will use in the long run
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The only reason why he is choosing ETH because it's famous and many people are already using various platforms built on the blockchain. It makes sense but I wish sooner or later they realize that Crypto is not just ETH or BTC. It's a plethora of opportunities in all directions.
Btw 1 ETH is just too much, especially when it's hovering around its ATH. 😂
At the same time, considering NFT art has been sold for millions, it's not that much.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
He has enough money to not even worry about the fees lol
But welp, at least he's using the future!
ETH might get a nice pump, so the fees for sure.
Like you said, we are so spoiled!
If only Hive got into his radar, since he's all for creating content..
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea that could be huge for Hive... I hope that the current developments help to put us on the map when they come out
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am involved in too much already. Difficult enough to focus on all the projects going on with our blockchain. Good fortune to him and those that get involved.

@jfang003
After reading your article on POB, I found this. Hope it helps.
https://www.publish0x.com/alienworldswam/how-to-free-up-more-cpu-without-staking-extra-wax-xdnjjke
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Be sure to check out the comments for further tips.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It doesn't change what I said before. The WAX is generally staked to you by someone else so you can power it down but that starting WAX is not very useful. So you add 1 WAX worth of CPU but 1 WAX now produces like 0.2 WAX worth of RAM from before. Let's assume 2 weeks ago, 1 ms of data for 1 WAX staked
So 2 weeks ago you had: 1 ms data and 1 WAX staked in NET
Now: 2 WAX staked in CPU which is 0.4ms worth after.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Have not really been paying much attention to my WAX wallet. The Alien Worlds thing I need to investigate more. I just got a guy and a shovel so I don't mine much.
I been doing mining on Neri, do you think there is something better for my guy and his shovel? I don't wish to put any crypto in the game, just earn organically.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
90 % of the time I mine on Neri. To me that planet seems to yield higher TLM/cycle.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the heads up! Appreciate it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think Neri was tapped out of TLM but I am not sure if that has been fixed. I didn't put any crypto there either and my account is at least a few hundred dollars now. I took the time to build a passive income source and I think its about $3-$4 at current price for doing nothing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Neri is fine.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks. I'll be moving back to Neri because it has the best TLM drops I think.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
With the rewards of TLM/cycle so reduced, I went shopping around but seem to always gravitate back to Neri. I agree it seems it has the best drops of TLM, but not so much when it comes to dropping NFTs.
I've also been exclusively mining on miningmonkey's plots, chasing weekly/bi-weekly Monkey drops.
Good Luck to you.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. I went back to Neri and found my first NFT in the week.

Nexon, a South korean / Japanese company put 100mns $ (2% of cash) into Bitcoin.
Do you think we will see more Gaming companies buying BTC for their treasury?
Or do you think another sector is going to step in before gaming ? (Big techs?)
https://leofinance.io/@vlemon/nexon-gaming-is-the-last-one-to-board-the-itcoin-train
https://cryptonews.com/news/gaming-giant-nexon-spends-usd-100m-on-bitcoin-10079.htm
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think we'll see more and more companies from different industries jumping on that train. I don't follow gaming too closely so I don't know if they have a particular interest in that but I believe we could see others doing the same
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think we will see more companies in general get involved in Bitcoin.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is huge. I didnt see this.
University of Wyoming going to earn revenues through staking of cryptocurrency.
The state approved $4 million to have it done. Just think if what we can do if this concept starts to take off.
There is a lot of potential. Hive is really starting to position itself very well for all that is taking place.
https://decrypt.co/69390/university-wyoming-generate-revenue-crypto-staking
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I love Wyoming. A trailblazer state. Showing governments around the world not to fear crypto.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They see an opportunity to really open up the gates and jumpstart things for the state. While the rest screw around, they are taking the lead. They will bring in millions in fees for the LDAO or whatever they are called.
It is a very smart move.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well the staking will probably depend on where they are putting it. If its something like stable coins in places like BlockFi and etc, then yes they can earn a decent amount. As for Defi, I would be worried about where they put their money.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am sure it is not going to be a risky, unknown and newer DeFi platform.
We can probably bet it will be fairly conservative.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
this is one of the things I was wondering about in my latest post.... if I was to try to start a charitable community fund using Defi for peoples donations and paying 'volunteers' with the harvested interest as well as offsetting various costs for the community/consumers, what would be the best DeFi strategy and what kind of setup could i use to make it a trustless system of distribution?
https://leofinance.io/@basilmarples/dao-charity-permaculture-farm-thoughts-please
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Very promising. I hope they include a few courses on blockchain and crypto. It would make sense since they are getting in this universe themselves.
It could really help to educate people about crypto.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
LOL going to school to learn about crypto.
Talk about a waste of money.
Here is the first lesson, drop out of school and save on the student loans. Take the money saved and buy Bitcoin.
Taskmaster rules of economic schooling.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
lol I'm all for that but since the poor souls are there already, they might as well get something for their money
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is true.
They already are hit with the student loand debt.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think staking is a good idea. Fairly risk free if you are doing a stable coin. And you are getting much higher returns than any savings account can give you. I'm slowing moving my fiat savings out of banks and into staking. Haven't quite made the jump to DeFi yet as I'n still trying to understand all the steps and the risks involved.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
DeFi is not much more risky than traditional financial institutions. Just look at what happened in 2008.
One must beware of the potentials for rug pulls though. So you are smart to research before jumping in.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Different kind of risk depending upon where you are.
There are safeguards in place, up to a certain limit, that does protect people in certain instances. For example, the money in banks up to a limit are covered by FDIC.
Of course, there was no protection against them taking the market and killing a lot of stock along the way.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is very true. Everything is a risk though. What happens if the FDIC goes bankrupt? Not probable, but it is possible.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
new incentive... want to see more of this in the coming years. universities are the highest institutions for learning and knowledge. they should be pro crypto
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is totally wild. Cryptocurrency and blockchain are really mainstream now with all of the adoption going on. For an entire state to embrace the technology and its financial applications is ground breaking.
Wyoming is pretty progressive though (not in the political sense). Maybe more Universities around the United States will follow suit? Only time will tell.
This is much like how more and more States are adopting the legalization of marijuana. The potential of revenue is too hard to ignore. My sister just got approved and now has her marijuana card for Pennsylvania.

What do you think of gambling on HIVE? The house usually wins so be careful though.
https://leofinance.io/@niallon11/kryptogamers-gambling-on-hive
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Guilty!
I sometimes go play Blackjack! Because I like the card game!
Only do small bets not more than 1 hive and have a few wins but when I'm almost losing all the profit I try to walk away lol
I also earn GAMER tokens sometimes!
But don't go for the sake of making tons of hive because you know the drill about gambling...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I got some gamer tokens when I gambled a few times but the gemer tokens themselves don't really cost much either and I don't think 14k is enough to get dividends.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I never properly learned that game lol
I mean, I know the rules because it's no rocket science but I never understood whats behind the obvious stuff
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Gambling it a form of entertainment to me. I wouldn't/don't do it to try to win. You're going to lose in the long run, but if it's fun to you have at it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea don't try to revenge trade too much. It won't end well with the house edge.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I like that it's an option, but I don't gamble myself.
A lot of people like to gamble, bet and stuff like that so it could be a nice accelerator and I'm all for that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I gamble every time get on the road in Florida during snowbird season.
If you ever saw how the blue hairs drive, you would be scared.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. I had to look up what a blue hair was though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol that can't be good
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea it satisfies people's urge but yea they should not invest anything they can't lose.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think it is great that it is on Hive but I am with you, not for me. The house does always win. The games are rigged to fall that way.
For me, I like that people here can indulge if they want. Hopefully stuff like that takes off.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea the house has an edge so the more you gamble, the higher chance you will lose your money.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
i got rekted while playing magic dice. ever since then, I have not attempted such. it is the fastest way to lose your hard-earned money
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. Yea a few here and there for fun with the expectation to lose is fine.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
i will pass. gambling is not good for me

Has anyone used the cryptocurrency wallet website CoinPot which closed permanently (note that the website no longer exists)? 🤔 Each user account was provided wallets for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Dash, where they held the private keys. ❌ It also served as the hub where the earnings of each of their users from their crypto faucets (BitFun, Bonus Bitcoin, Moon...) go to. 🕵️♂️
The point of my question is mainly to know how many people were annoyed by not being able to withdraw their tokens because of "below minimum payout" and "invalid withdrawal address" errors. 🕵️♂️🕵️♂️
Anyway, I tried looking at other comments to reply to, but I could not find at least one comment I could easily make a good reply to. 😅
There were quite a bit and there were also people who tried to get things out towards the end but didn't get their payments. I don't know whether or not it was a good or bad thing though.
Did you have an account there?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, I had an account there. I had barely a dollar there by the time they announced that they "needed" to close their service.
Ah that sucks. I heard someone say that they couldn't remove some coins because they needed to verify that they were a real person or what not. I think the people who got money out early got it but those latecomers who did towards the end did not.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't understand why an exchange will require its users to undergo identity verification when they haven't yet "for security reasons". 🤯 It's not like any hacker can't provide anybody's identity to complete the verification process. 🕵️♂️
Never heard of it but I am not too worldly. LOL
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I used to use it some time back, but I really don't mess with faucets much anymore. Much more valuable to me to just hang around HIVE and get in on their stuff.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree! 😅 Faucets are just a "good" way to waste your time, especially when compared to Hive. 😁
I don't know if its worth the effort to sift through the coinmarketcap's telegram group but its a possible chance of free money.
https://leofinance.io/@katerinaramm/usdt-airdrops-offered-by-coinmarketcap-to-users-who-are-active-in-their-telegram-channel
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It sounds good but in the telegram, its huge spam and I did not like it. may be you can have a look..
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes, there is tons of spam and bots and ads in the chat and comments. Most of the channels I follow have comments turned off. I just use it mostly for getting my news.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I saw it then decided I didn't want to be part of it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I found that stuff like that, my time is better spent on Hive engaging. This is from a financial standpoint.
Do some things and get rewarded on here and it will likely outpace what the payout is there.
Maybe that is the topic of a post. Stop looking at all these other things outside of Hive when the same amount of time commenting, will net a bigger payout.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
People should look at things outside of Hive when they've spent time on Hive.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
if you are a robot i think you can do both effectively...lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Am I a robot?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
are you not?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't think I am. I do think @taskmaster4450le is because he makes so many post and makes even more comments than I do.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. Is that going to be your next post?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not my next one but it could be one soon.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I never knew how much I gained financially engaging Hive on daily basis until I stopped posting and commenting over the last 13 days. My cash inflow drastically dropped. If not for auto curation that kept some of the tokens in use. Hive is wonderful.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Your comment made me imagine how much money I am losing by not being active here. Existing users must FOMO on this fact. 😶
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
An interesting FOMO to think about but one that is true nonetheless.
We do see the ability to earn become a consistent thing...if we are consistent.
Pull back and the stream dries up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Right! One must act on this FOMO right now since Hive is underrated (for now). Being consistent is quite lucrative and it grows exponentially with time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
"C\onsistency" is just my definition of Success. Doing the right thing regularly not minding the volume or size.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea but I wonder why so many people stopped after they grew their bags big enough. I don't understand why you would want to stop growing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, it doesn't make sense because there is no limit to growth.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's very true. Engagement is the way to grow here on LeoFinance. I am one testimonial to that fact. 80% of my LEO holdings were never purchased, but earned and that engagement played a vital role.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I hope everything is alright with you. But yes, that's an important thing. Engaging constantly is one of the keys to achieving success here on Hive.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Isn't that the truth?
We see people focus upon the faucets and other things. I did for a time but found that my time on Hive is a lot better spent on many levels.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I did some faucets but I kind of tune it out now. That freebitcoin.io only works for the email one as a gamble spin everyday.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Indeed, I lost like $25 on the net daily for those days I failed to engage Hive. I noticed that as I kept drawing out cash for the work and soon, I discovered nothing else came in.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea at least we can earn even when we are not doing anything. But yea posting/comment nets you quite a bit.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, Engagement is actually the power of socialmedia. See many out there paying for comments and shares on centralized platforms.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
i dont like telegram that much and I hardly even use coinmarktetcap.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad to know from the comments to this comment that it is not worth the aggravation. That is what I love about our little group here. Learn new stuff everyday with folks that actually check the stuff out and share feedback.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea at least it hasn't devolved into a cesspool like Twitter just yet. But who knows what the future has in store for us.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
these days we can see lots of talk about NFT.. Do you think that NFT will stay for long and why?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Without a doubt. NFT is the best way to assign ownership of digital assets. That is going to be huge as we move towards the Metaverse.
There is some mania right now but do not mistake the technology and what it presents to humanity going forward.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes NFT will be here to stay. The digital aspects gives ton of flexibility and it also gives you many different models you can do on top of it. Such as game items being relevant in different game universes.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh yea, it's coming to stay.
There are a lot of use cases already and who knows how many more will come.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
WAX has been fighting with the high influx of users recently. To combat this and the huge stress the network was under, they have done 2 the two things below
The decrease in CPU is similar to them saying each comment, post and vote is now 5x the current RC cost. So you must stake more to use the network. The 2nd was to deal with bots.
What do you think?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that scaling is a problem that all blockchains are going to run into.
In talking to Blocktrades, he said that is one of the reasons why, after the split from Steem, his focus was on optimization. Well cost was a major reason but getting the chain to scale was vital.
We are sitting on the best technology. Few can handle things the way we do on here.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea but I am wondering what type of options they will be pursuing. Will they force people to do catpchas for every single transaction or will they just increase the RC cost to force users to stake more.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hard to tell.
The bottom line is that when you have scaling issues, without expanding the capabilities of the network, there is only one thing to do: less activity.
It is a horrible position to be in. But that is what many will see I believe if they get popular. Blocktrades mentioned that he did not think other chains were focusing upon that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Interesting, I'd never looked at things from this perspective. It's good to know that our foundations are solid like few others.
It can prove to be a crucial advantage in the future.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
All the boring stuff that Blocktrades focused upon (from the user perspective anyway) were vital to the operation of the blockchain. The fact that scaling was the first thing they went after was genius.
We did, it seems, what nobody else was looking at doing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That was some good long-term view I guess. Glad we have people like that on the wheel
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am glad that scaling is their main focus. I was just thinking about that yesterday. Since everyone talks about more users, the priority should be how to handle them when they show up!
Thankfully Blocktrades is not putting the carriage before the horse and has foreseen the main problem that a massive influx of users could create.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes granted it was financially driven. They had to optimize to get costs down. Now running the blockchain is a fraction of the cost as it was before.
Plus we were on a path to where the blockchain would stop since there werent servers big enough to handle things.
Hence we have a much better operation on many different levels.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Will this solve the loading problems like for comments? I don't know how long a 10k comment page would take to load.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Did you get the link I posted for you?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I saw it but I don't think it solves the underlying issue. It may help the starting people take off but I think having zero NET staked is a good idea either.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just thought I'd post it to you as it was on topic of your article.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I like that they are thinking about how to use the starter benefits but even that won't solve things going on when its a problem with WAX itself. It only pushes the problem down the line and NET is barely used most of the time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think scaling issues are nice to have because it only shows how many people all around the world are interested.
Staking more to use the network is fine but I think it will all come down to the question - How much more? If people can't afford it, they will be put off and some other project will solve that problem to rise itself. This is what happened with ETH & BSC.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea as stated in some of the below comments. I think its great that HIVE has though of this beforehand but its always better to bring things up before it happens. Otherwise we won't know what will hit us.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yepp, DPoS solves this problem!!! Good that we are following this protocol, faster and scalable as compared to other protocols. Dan Larimer created it and you can see that top 10 Blockchains based on the amount of activity, most of them are using DPoS or DPoS 2.0

With the TLM hype people litterally assaulted WAX and the implementation of CPU limits and captchas was probably necessary to fight abuse. I think what WAX is doing well is that they make onboarding pretty simple. Once hive has a similar onboarding process, it will encounter similar problems (a lot of users and bot abuse). The fact that people need to stake more CPU has an advantage that more wax has to be staked and this can have a positive effect on its price.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm not familiar with WAX but your comment got me interested because of the onboarding process. I really think Hive is lacking on that. I'll check it out to see how it looks like
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
In this respect, WAX is the most userfriendly crypto platform that I have encountered. There are already a lot of Hive projects (Risingstar, Splinterlands, CTPSB, Musicforlife,...) that are spreading out to wax because of it and because it shares a lot of interesting aspects with hive, like free transactions.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea the free transactions are a huge plus to the blockchain and for integration with other platforms.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea its an easy onboarding process. Just pick a way to create the account and you are good. Once logged in, you don't have to keep re-inputting but the captchas annoy me though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes it does but the barrier to entry is now increased. I don't see it looking good for the new users and if the influx continues, it means we got to stake even more. Yesterday, I staked another 20 WAX to be safe (a day's earning for me). I think I am still below the CPU limits I was a few weeks ago though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I exited WAX weeks ago. Sold all $WAX and I don't regret it. I am not crazy about worthless NFTs :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Its a block chain built for NFTs so I think it has quite a bit of potential and I think I will continue to build there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
True. It is a great piece of technology with a lot of potential. Yet, most of the NFTs on it are junk. Sorry, that's how I see it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't disagree. There aren't many use cases for most of them and I am just building on trying to create a Rplanet Aether generation stream.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I skipped Rplanet since I have enough of pay-for-play games for a while :)
I haven't paid for my NFTs and its all organic growth lol. Just takes maybe 20-30 minutes a day in total.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
First BSC disrupted the Defi monopole of ETH and now they want to do the same for NFT's. I would consider BSC as being quite far from a decentralised chain. Therefore, I'm not so positive about the weight this blockchain takes in the crypto world. What do you think about that?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I really do not have the funds to mess around with ETH. I am in full agreement with @finguru and his comment. That is why I took my LEO from Uniswap and went the bLEO (Binance-wrapped LEO) route.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't know about BSC affecting NFTs. But I guess it can take money from ETH but I tend to prefer WAX where there are no fees for trading NFTs.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They can do all of it because they are centralized and in control of the entire network. Decentralization is tough and slow.
We have stuff in the works that will hopefully make Hive a challenger.
This is something that we need to keep pushing towards.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
BSC has managed to do that because demand for affordable DeFi products is increasing. Their chain has managed to solve a major problem for small-time investors like myself who could not even think of using platforms like Uniswap due to insane fees.
So DeFi on BSC can be safely called Centralized DeFi. Due to this, many users have issues with it, and rightly so. The blockchain philosophy is mostly in favor of decentralization. But we are far away from achieving 100% of it. I feel that BSC provided platforms where I can train and expose myself to the world of DeFi. When ETH or any other blockchain (which is not centralized) solves the problem of High Gas fees and speed as BSC did, I will move there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The reality is most people do not care about centralization and are perfectly happy to use it.
To me, it is a hybrid situation. It solves the fee problem that ETH has enabling the small investor to partake. However, it is centralized and controlled, not what we ultimately want.
In the end, Hive can step up and help to push things forward.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Exactly! We need to step up for sure and solve problems that other platforms/blockchains are facing.
Leo Finance is doing a such a great job on similar lines by creating Leo Bridge which is one of its kind.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree completely with what you have written here. I hadn't touched Defi before Cubfinance and BSC providing an "affordable" entry into this world. I think it's easier for a centralised entity to take the appropriate measures to fill a niche. The decision process is short and can be efficient. Then a player like Binance certainly has the funds to develop the necessary software. Decentralised platforms need much more time to make these compromises and provide the financial resources.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Same here!!! I am sure ETH & BSC can co-exist and people have the choice to use whatever they think is best for themselves. Freedom is still not lost. Binance is looking to take over everything it seems but it's okay, it also helps many people to enter this space which is helpful for now. Adoption is more important before we worry too much about Decentralization. It will come in due time I guess.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It is great that CubFinance introduced you to DeFi.
I think it did that for a lot of people.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I used Uniswap once, for Koinos. Now with CubFinance ... We all like it because of high yields. Simple as that. DeFi is like ICOs of four years ago. It will eventually phase out or become normal. Then something new will emerge.
About de-centralization. Yes, it is an issue to those who care about it. Yet, BSC demands a lot of computer power. Are we willing to put up a powerful enough network of DeFi nodes to make it decentralized? Software is available :)

Incase anyone is playing Hashkings, you can participate in the BUDS giveaway. Burning BUDS gives you MOTA and by staking MOTA, you get seeds. At worst, you can just sell the BUDS on HE.

You've probably heard of writer's block and all that type of stuff. I had more issues with it in the past compared to nowadays. Things are a lot easier today and I'm more experienced so I often find it rather easy to get inspiration from various posts or comments.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just go through the comment sections and there are a ton of ideas for posts.
Hey there is another benefit of commenting.
The list keeps growing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It sure seems like people who are active or somewhat active (like myself) in the leomarkettalk posts have the same idea. Look at the comment sections. That's where engagement takes place & that's where you'll get ideas for future content.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Mostly from comments these days. This chat is a great source of inspiration. I have a fat backlog of stuff I want to write about. Hopefully, I'll have some time to do that starting next week.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It sure is a great source. That's one more thing engagement does for you.. It helps you to come up with new ideas for future content.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol it seems like everyone here is just talking about the comments section and I think it is also the best choice.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, I totally agree. I was expecting people to mention the comment section actually, but I honestly thought someone would say something different. lol :D
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
the community feeds me. i was going to write a post on how engagement feeds creativity. maybe i will do that today. by engaging you know the topics people care about and you can easily fill that demand
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Reading other posts and comments can be a nice source of inspiration!
I also listen to podcasts a lot!
I have some books to read that will help me with more content in the future :)

Hive Power Up Day is approaching, Who is ready to rock it?
I am HODLing 100 Hive in my account ready to be powered up on 1st of May. It's going to be amazing. Are you joining? Power up whatever you can even if it is 1 HIVE. Every bit counts!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Great deal. I am glad to see people do that. It is a great initiative.
I power up every day so it is nothing new for me although I do have a few HBD I might convert to HIVE and power up.
Toss my hat into to the ring to help out some.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Perfectttt! You are doing a great job @taskmaster4450. Hustling hard on daily basis.
This is my first time so I am ramped up a bit. It's going to be fun.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am going to but its probably only like 10 HIVE or so this time. Then again I am powering up everyday for my Saturday's Saver Challenge atm.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's cool @jfang003. 10 is a good sum to power up to celebrate the day. All the very best for your challenge. I also try to power up whenever I can. 👻
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I always set some goals at the beginning of the month to motivate me but I am also going to look at my yearly goal that I set to see if I am overreaching or not.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I only have yearly goals for now and I know some months are going to be low and some are going to be great. But I need to break it down and try to achieve my average monthly quota. It actually helps you to keep on track and as you said, keeps you motivated.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'll fire up the 4 HIVE's of the engagement league haha.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha, That's awesome John!! Congratulations on winning. ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes it is a great program to incentivize people to grow their accounts. I have been a sponsor for some time, but will not be sponsoring prizes this go around.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's great @sgt-dan, I didn't know there are prizes for participation. Looks like I didn't read the posts properly.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes there are a number of delegation prizes of HIVE each month. I was delegating LEO the past few months.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Awesome. I will check it once again and see what I can manage to win. 😁
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Prizes are here if you are still looking for it.
https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@traciyork/announcementpost-hivepowerupdaymay1st2021-5i9ogubzlrwdxti2o27q
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks @jfang003. Just checked this post and they are so many. Such a huge list of prizes and it got me confused. Haha!
Without actually looking at them, I am going to participate, and hopefully, I will win some. ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just follow the rules and put the correct tag. If you do, then you qualify. I don't know if you are included if you don't make a post.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Making a post is necessary with this tag - #HivePUD.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I used to power up 50 $HIVE every 1st of the month. This time I'll power up CubFinance farm instead :)
OK, I might transfer some $Scorum and $HBD to Hive and power it up ...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha. Great decisions Ervin. Thanks for joining in ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You're welcome. Good morning :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have some to power up and will be doing so on May 1st. Excited for it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's amazing @salexa5, me too. Looking forward to reading your post. Make sure you do it otherwise you won't be eligible for the rewards. ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Here is another @leomarkettalk daily post.
Yesterday we crossed the 600 comment level. Each day this week, we dropped down.
Let us see if we can stop the trend and have a huge up day today.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is bitclout a scam, yes or no?
And why?
Scam or not, it's better to spend your time on HIVE where you can become a big celebrity in the next one year. Bitclout already has a bunch of celebrities so who would buy your coin!
Btw, I don't think it's a scam because they have verified accounts of some of the people like Jake Paul, Grant Cardone, Winklevoss brothers etc.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well I believe that brings a little more credibility but it could still be a scam.
Recently here in Brazil a famous actor was seen advertising a Bitcoin scam that promised 300% monthly returns with zero effort. He said later that he didn't know it was a scam but who knows what really happened there...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah I agree that doesn't guarantee that they won't rip you off but gives some more credibility. I hope they provide the functionality to its users to take their money out of the platform. Right now it's only one way and this raises a lot of fingers on them.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well they should do something about it indeed but I'm not too worried since I have no plans to jump on that
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Me too bro. Hive is more than enough for me and it consumes all of my time. Don't need another social media platform in my life as of now.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I guess if you join for free it doesn’t matter
Never heard about it before...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ooh actually scratch that... now that I read some other comments I remember I read about it. Looked a little silly hehe
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I guess if it does cost anything what do you have to lose?
Time. It's one of my most valuable resources and I prefer to spend it on Hive since I believe it's a better project.
But you have a point. Doesn't hurt to try if you have the time
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't understand the draw to it unless you just want people to like you and you've got BTC to burn. There are so many other social media sites. I don't see it adding anything of value.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't know but I think its a scam if you want want to spend BTC to get its crypto. But the premise of a social media site is fairly sound since we need more decentralized social medias. I don't think it has enough value to be back by the BTC.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have no idea about it.
Why do you think it is a scam?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Because your got to spend BTC to get the crypto and improve your rank. I don't think there is a way to convert it back into crypto or fiat either. So its just a huge BTC sink.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah yes from how you describe it, that sounds like a scam. Money going in and no a seeable way for it to come out.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don’t. I am on it and will post my HIVE posts there. I think it will be fine to be honest. See how we do.
i never heard of bitclout
what is this bitclout btw ?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's a new decentralized social media site and it incentivizes people to burn BTC for their crypto token. These people are ranked higher.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It was fairly decent yesterday but it did seem like activity was kind of on and off.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Long stretches of down time.
Odd day for commenting. Perhaps we can set an enormous pace right out of the gate tonight.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Please drop the link to your curation trail or that of LBI-token so I can follow. My LEO Power has been grossly wasted over the last 13 days.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I saw a few fewer faces there yesterday. I guess we lost some people again.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes we did, that is for certain. At least they made it here so the next time they will be familiar with it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah. Hopefully, they find their way back here. Maybe with some friends. And beer.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It happens quite often. They show up here every now then most of the time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I've got one more day on this research paper and should be back fulltime then.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'll be looking forward to you commenting more. Can we expect you to reach the 200 comments a week club? :P
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
lol! That's a nice goal to reach. I'm going to rest after this paper is uploaded and maybe we'll make a push in the next week. I hate research papers! :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Looking forward to seeing you back!
If you don't mind the question, what are you studying?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not at all. I've changed majors a few times. Currently taking Human Services/Addiction Studies.
Social workers helped my family as we were dirt poor when I was a kid. "Welfare" was a dirty word in my family and we were so poor that we had to bring our school lunch home to feed five kids (including two infants). Of course there was no husband around and mom refused to seek help.
At one point, all we had to eat was a box of starch and some butter, I kid you not. Mom was raised on a farm and country folks from that area tend to be fiercely independant and considered welfare to be for drug addicts and freeloaders. That was drilled into us as kids. "Don't be a freeloader, make your own way."
I begged her to apply for welfare, but it was the social worker and the pastor who finally convinced her. She would rather starve than apply, but they told her "If you want to starve yourself, that's fine, but you have no right to starve these kids." She applied and six months later she found a job and called welfare to be taken off, they were astonished! Nobody ever asked to be removed from benefits! But she did. She was so happy to be off the dole and I was so proud of her!
So that's why I wanted to give back.
It's a lot of psych stuff and a ton or writing. We have to choose two theroies to contrast and compare. I chose Person-Centered Therapy vs Existential Therapy. A lot of psycho-babble. They pick apart every little word, phrase and comma. They even take points off for invisible spaces at the end of a paragraph that none of us can see. A real headache. Thank goodness it's just about done.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Looking forward to it.
We need all the engagement we can get.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Incredible. A lot of things happening here. Hiting 600 comments impressions is no child's play. Glad to see imprints from @Jongolson and others..
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That was not bad, but a few days ago we hit 800 so we have the potential to do a lot more!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
800 would be back to the scene and that on a consistent run. I'm in for at least 50 daily on leoFinance only.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Please, visit this post and comment under it. The idea deserves your attention and input. Thank you very much.

Ps: writing this on mobile. It gets stuck occasionally and the initial load was quite long.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Added a comment. It is an interesting thought experiment. What kind of system can we create using DeFi and other aspects of crypto to fuel what is needed?
Worthy of deeper discussion, that is for sure.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks a lot, I appreciate it.
Yes, it is certainly worth sleeping over it and giving it a more in-depth reply.
What kind of system? I don't know. Some sort of DAO / fund / governance / community ... platform. It can be done on Hive too :)
I remember that the team behind busy.org was working, at least they had an idea, on the donation / charity system...
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Looks like it's almost time to add some more CUB to the portfolio..... $2.72. Anything under $3 is a steal in my opinion. With the APR's still well into the triple digits on the main farms and the Cub den, and more developments coming, it just makes "cents". :-)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am debating about whether or not to swap in LEO now or wait because I wanted to enter at the start of the month. I think I also wanted to transfer around 100 LEO or so to make sure that I don't lose out too much on fees.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
100 LEO is a nice number in my opinion. That's a 1% fee, which I'm comfortable with
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I am comfortable with that as well. I am still debating about whether or not bLEO/BNB, CUB den or CUB/BUSD is better.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea, it's definitely a huge opportunity! I'll be adding some more soon.
I didn't do it this week because I wanted to add LBI first.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I will do that as soon as the LEO>bLEO bridge is working. I already have a bunch of LEO hung up.
Need to get that worked out.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's een nearly two weeks I've not posted on Hive. Was so engaged at site to monitor a septic/soak away project I'm handling for my new apartment. The rain almost crushed all the funds we sunk in. Glad the work is nearing completion. I'll be back to share the fun and love here.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah, that sucks. Good that you figured it out in the end. Welcome back @uyobong, we could use some extra hands in pushing the engagement on the platform.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Look at you. So relaxed when you are typing comments on Leofinance.
It is not a job, just a relaxing afternoon.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh yeah, definitely!!! That's the best part. And it pays well. I am sure for many people it pays more than their regular jobs. Don't forget the freedom that comes with it is invaluable.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I just noticed things are getting faster. My comments are loading in 5 seconds and it can only invite one to comment the more.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the welcome. I want to see the good old days of 700 comments daily and more.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Now that you are back bro, we might have a chance. ✌️ Just curious to know, have we ever hit 1000 comments in day? Do you know?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh I am hoping to complete mine as well. The rain is getting intense. This is the second time we are doing this same project. My dad did one when he was still alive and it collapse. Now I am fixing it. It is costing me a arm and a leg 🤧
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Do you guys live in the same city or something where heavy rains is a big issue?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Something close to that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
All the best bro. Mine would be decked today.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah that definitely sounds like an annoying experience and I hope you come back soon to fill your bags in HIVE.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I was wondering where you were at.
Is @coyotelation helping you out. He is missing in action too.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I have seen that he has been quite busy lately. I wonder if he is too busy with CUB instead of LEO now.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's serious. We ain't in the same location at all. Hope, he'll be back soon.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I guess size matters in the crypto world, well at least block size. Yeah, I'm full of bad puns today but I can't help it. I'm very curious were bitcoin cash will go this bull run and if noise cash and read cash manages to increase it's popularity. Would you guys use it to buy stuff or will you just hodl it in the hopes it goes higher?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I would use it to buy stuff and I would rather HODL BTC over BCH.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I really dont see any of these blockchain coins being used for payments. Some might in certain areas but we already see people conditioned to speculate upon them. Hence the desire to HODL.
I think we will see stablecoins take up that slack for a while and then, ultimately, each network will have tokens in the different apps that people use.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
they is a push from the people who created noise cash and read cash in the direction of promoting BCH as a payment tool, that's why I asked the question. The consensus so far seems to be: hodl and speculate rather then use it as money
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
How safe is it to buy BTCB on binance smart chain? Is it advisable?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I bought some to stake in the CubFinance Den and I had zero problems. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's 100% safe and I'm not in a position to advise it, but my personal experience was good.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
okay, i do plan to increase my btc stash but i dont want to leave it idle, so if I can pull some of it to the bsc smart chain that would be great.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I wouldnt see any reason why it wouldnt be safe; well as safe as any other token on there. What makes you think BTCB is any less safe than the ETH on there?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
i dunno i was just thinking...the other B looks scary. since bsc is my second most used chain I want most of my coins there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think its safe unless you think Binance is going out of business. Of course there are probably fees to get it in and out but that is normal.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
What do you guys think of this Cake DeFi thing? I keep seeing ads for it on Brave. Anybody use it? Good, Bad, Ugly?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think @kevinnag58 might have ideas about it since he had some bad experience with Pancake. But I don't know since I haven't done it personally. I might be confusing the Harvest and Pancake though so lets wait for his response.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I started using Pancake Swap about a month ago. At first there were no problems. You see, I was just using Pancake to mint the liquidity tokens then move them to invest in Harvest Finance vaults.
10 days ago or so Pancake went from v1 to v2 which required mass migration of their internal liquidity pools but was not to effect in any way external pools like I hold/held.
2 days ago I tried on numerous occasions to create more liquidity tokens on Pancake to add to my positions. Pancake would create the liquidity token but not transmit them to my wallet. Luckily, I was able to back out of all of them (losing the fees of course) but one. Now I either have to write that one off (lucky again that it was only a small add of $50 or so), or, deal with an administrator on Telegram as they have no dedicated service center.
Bottom line, when it worked it was fine...but...since the migration to v2 it sucks.
In my opinion, in this order, these are better choices: Cub; Goose Finance.
Good luck to you in which ever path you choose.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks. Brave seems to know what I'm into! Cub was too difficult for me to get into, even though Sarge offered to help. By that point I was burnt out of reading and viewing incomplete tutorials and decided to give it a pass. I realized that just because someone knows about a subject, doesn't mean they can explain it well to a new person.
It was odd. Many of the tutorials would begin in the middle, others would cover the very beginning and then halt. Nothing was comprehensive and step by step. After a week of trying to learn Cub Finance, I finally gave up.
I'll never forget the last video I tried to watch. Right off the bat, he starts in the middle using all kinds of industry jargon. He was talking to his crypto friends, but had labled the video as being for beginners. Experts talking to experts. I clicked away and never went back.
They couldn't seem to think like a NEW person. Don't assume we know what you're talking about. Step by step. Screenshot each one, think "Cub for Dummies." These guys would always skip over some crucial part and I'm shouting at my screen "wait, you left out the next step!" lol
I'd be reading and taking notes, like "Ok, I got steps 1, 2 and 3 so far, good, I'm with you, got it." Then they'd jump to step 7 and I'm like "wait, what?" lol! So frustrating. :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I ain't chasing waterfalls. Been there done that. Just sticking with what I got right now. Some say it is good to diversify, hedging your bets.
Since I am not involved with the Cake thing except through CUB with the pancake swap if that is the same thing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ahhh... I like that phrase. I'm not sure if it is the same, but they're hitting me hard with the ads, so wondered if anybody was in it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
My view is that I have no reason to move away from CubFinance.
The returns might be better elsewhere but it isnt worth the risk. With Cub, I know there is not going to be a rug pull and if something does happen, they will resolve it.
From what I am reading, that is not the case elsewhere.
To me, that sense of security is very valuable.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It sure is. I saw your comment earlier about doubling down on Hive and investing here as opposed to being distracted and spread thin by outside forces.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I will like to hear people's responses because I am thinking of buying some cake. I think I heard someone talk about a potential airdrop or something. Not too sure. I also checked their site. It is very robust.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
There's been talk of a CAKE drop for some time now but I've seen no movement toward fruition. Nonetheless, I do hold some CAKE and have it staked on Goose earning 256.54% CAKE/GUSD. Staking CAKE on Pancake only earns 91.17%.
Nice day to day price movement yesterday. Plus give a look at the price chart up and up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
yeah, i saw an upward movement and I think I want to wait out a little before buying a couple in the market. thanks for the information.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's very colorful. I wondered if it might be easier to learn than Cub, which was a complete fiasco.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
An interesting application of blockchain to the physical art world. I can see the problems that this would solve but I guess we'll have to see if it takes off.

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The NFT craze continues. I just don't think it has as much value as they claim it does.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think the NFT world can be split in two: NFT's with an inner value or use case and all the rest... For the second category I don't know how they will be able to hold the value.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's probably true to most things that we see on the blockchain
We'll see how things unfold but I think you are right.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I don't think the 2nd one will hold value either. The market is a strange place.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well, I guess the core concept is similar to NFT, but this is a different application. It could work because it's aiming to solve a real issue but we'll see how that goes.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think the most interesting part of that article you posted is not what it is about. Each day we see a new entrant into the NFT world.
What I find most fascinating is it is found on a technology site, not crypto. That is bit. This tells me things are branching out to another layer.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I guess it would be for an artist to receive royalties on their art? Am I on the right track?
Maybe it is like a time share. People owning a portion of the art.
Okay, I will hang this art piece in my house for the summer and you can hang it in your house in the winter.
Just trying to wrap my head around this idea!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I might be an idiot, just switched to Windows 10 and all kinds of stuff.. But what in the world is going on with the time? I mean, comments I make or receive a minute ago says "9 hours ago". Is it me or something else?
Take this post for instance:
The OS probably has you in the wrong time zone. Just a guess.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Oh, lol! Pacific Time US & Canada. That was the issue. I didn't even think about it because the time was accurate. Thanks! :D

Okay we take everything bad we said about Microsoft.
Actually we dont.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha nope, we don't.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are a time traveler it seems.
Amazing what Microsoft can do for you.
Bugs are norm for ole Softy.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I had no issues previously, so I obviously think it's because I have changed to windows 10 instead of good old windows 7.. But this is messed up.. I'm 9 hours a head of everyone, including myself.. lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The problem is that all these comments might be showing up as yesterday.
We will have to ask @amr008 how this is tracked.
It is odd but I wonder what the chain sees.
On my end, for this comment from you, it says "3 mins ago".
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Its fine on my end so I think its only asap's problem.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, it was my OS that had another time zone. The time was right so I didn't even bother to look at that. :D
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad you figured it out. I was about to say it was all normal on my side but I guess it's all good now.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's all good. I just took things for granted with win10.. lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Crazy question: do you know what time zone you are in?
Asking for a friend.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Probably a time zone difference but I don't know as it is fine on my end.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, something is weird, I tell you that. Not sure what it is though..
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Something could be wrong with OS..
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah, it's already fixed. It had the wrong time zone.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We were talking about communities yesterday in here which is an undiscovered asset we have here.
What are some of the communities you think we need here?
I think the idea of hundreds of niche communities founded by dedicated users is a great way to grow Hive. A few new users to each group on a monthly basis will have a huge impact overall.
I am a big believer in going wide then working our way up from there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
In the past few days, I've been trying to pull people from CTP Talk to come to chat with us!
We've been talking about using Hive as a place to create and share content but what's more important is to build relationships. So even if you are not comfortable creating posts, do comments! Community is King and Engagement is Queen so come on CTP don't leave me alone in the middle of the Lions 🤣😁
At least @jongolson came! I told him about you calling him a slacker ahahaha
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Glad to see @jongolson here. Hope many more people from various communities join us.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I've been trying my best to comment when I can. I've been thinking of something I could post about but I'm not to that level of comfortability yet.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
More reason why this little chat corner is so important!
I understand when we have doubts in writing, not sure what to write about or what will people think of..I've been there.
Until I tried my first post, didn't have much attention I think I got less than 5 upvotes. I tried again later, and again and again...until I got comfortable in writing. I try not to get too comfortable, so I try to be more creative, with different titles, different headers, graphics, topics, and so on. I even started vlogging, which was impossible for a shy person like me afraid of what people would think until I said "the heck with it" and uploaded my first vlog. I survived lol
It's a matter of practice and consistency and things will get better.
So I know...been there done that...and it's ok!
You can stay here with us as long as you like!
But is also up to you to make the jump before you stay too comfortable or waiting for the perfect time, there's no such thing as perfection :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just post something you think interesting. Use the comments to get an idea of what to post.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That's how it all starts. Keep commenting and engaging with others until you get to the point that you are comfortable posting. That will help.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If that's true, what are their offspring?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
hmm
Creation and Curation? Twins? 🤣🤣
It's almost 3am not sure if I should be answering such a complex question lol
That is true. Drop it in chat next show and we will let Jon answer it.
It sounds like one for him.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
they probably have a spoilt little troll prince don't they? ;p
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yeah and he put up 3 comments.
Well I guess everyone needs to start somewhere. Dont want to overload the good chap.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
He's been writing a lot so it was a good stretch!
He will get better, I'm always bugging him lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You go girl!!!
Hammer him until he submits completely.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not that I can afford it but out of curiousity, how much does it cost to start a new Hive Engine tribe and what are the monthly maintenance fees?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
The recently ALIVE tribe started and as far as and on HIVE-Engine 4000 BE was required. Maybe you can check with @flaxz for more details.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have zero plans on starting a tribe. Was just curious. Thanks for the info though.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I went to search old posts from a friend and found this:
Probably there are more requirements but to start is already a push lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Excellent information, thanks. 1000 BEE at current exchange rates is around $472 USD.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have no idea.
@silverstackeruk what are the fees on Hive Engine for a tribe and the ongoing costs?
Care to share?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just as Eliana said, 3000 BEE for the functionality of a very basic tribe, and then stake 1 BEE for every active user.
If you want delegations then that is an additional 1000 BEE, and to get miners you need 1000 BEE to enable staking and another 1000 for the mining contract.
Each token also cost 100 BEE to create too.
A community for VR/AR? I think the interest is growing but I don't think I have heard anything.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No that isnt one that I heard of.
I talked with someone earlier and told him to start one for his favorite sports team. He is going to think about it and research it.
I think that really could take off. Get a community or two tied to particular teams and then what others follow. The target market is there. Sports teams have passionate fan bases.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Team communities are definitely something good to have. They are usually very popular.
I might even think about starting a couple lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think they would be. Of course, in the beginning they would be small but, over time, they could grow. And if one or two become successful, others could certainly follow.
It is a model I think will work. I will keep on him to see if he does it. If he can pull it off, that would be amazing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's a great contest started by @bozz. We can potentially attract some Doge Millionaires to Hive if we get their attention. I am going to share all the good entries on Twitter for more visibility. Who knows I might create a post myself! Take part if you can:

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for sharing this!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
You are most welcome. Cheers! It's a really cool contest.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Left a gif on your post. Maybe folks can incorporate it in their posts if they like.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Awesome! Thanks!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't know much about Doge but I might if I have some time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Sure J. This contest is more about telling the Doge Community about Hive.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Left Bozz a vote, comment and this:
You know how DOGE folks love their memes and gifs. Maybe he can use it to help promote his contest.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hahaha. This looks so cool @sgt-dan. 😂 I love memes!

A way to set up Leofinance-lite on a mobile phone.
Step-by-step instructions of how to do it. Makes it easier for those on mobile to use Leofinance.io.
https://leofinance.io/@crazy-unicorn/browse-leofinance-efficiently-on-mobile-using-a-lite-app
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I saw the post and I think its great. My mobile is my away time from HIVE so I plan to keep this in mind if I bother to use it in the future.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Up to this point I am not much of a mobile user. So it is more for informational purposes on my end.
But I hope it does help a lot of the mobile users.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is really great for folks that use their mobile phone a great deal. His tutorial on how to use it was excellent.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Agree 100%.
I think this is great for the mobile users. I will be curious if anyone actually starts to use it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
look how individuals are coming up with solutions. although I might not delve deep into the hermit thing, it is nice to know such an option exists.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is great especially for folks who do not have the luxury to own a decent piece of a machine or a fast internet connection. Great job done by @crazy-unicorn.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks for the visibility boost once again 😉
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If we could get only a fraction of them onto Hive. That would be great.
https://decrypt.co/69409/defi-nft-booms-send-metamask-past-5-million-active-users
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. I think a bunch of HIVE users are now MetaMask users due to BSC and CUB.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is true also. But that isnt the way I was meaning. LOL.
Ultimately, we just need to keep on building and growing.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. I know but it just means we need some really good Dapps to attract new users.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is true. We can get things going with that. We have enough people ready to talk about them. We just need them to show up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
we have enough things happening on the hive blockchain even most of us are unaware of. lol this marketing thing has to be taken seriously, even for leo as well. it is one thing for people to know we exist and try to use the platform and then leave. but another thing entirely when no one knows. then out of the blues another project comes with the same idea and boom! they are everywhere
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
right and this number is growing for sure.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
we go where the money goes lol. I cant wait to have yield farming and all that jazz on hive. it is about time if you ask me
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Definitely true. I just hope we are part of the early crowd and not the late crowd.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
i hope so too. and we need to sort our marketing issue and find what works for hive
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea that would really help put us on the map. 500% growth is impressive. MetaMask is killing it
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I know we have NFT Showroom for the art stuff, but NFTs are so much more than that. I believe this VIBE thingy may take off eventually.
Then we have the Splinterlands', Rising Star, Exodus, and other game related NFTs. I guess we are doing decent in the NFT department.

How long until we see athletes starting to opt for artificial limbs over the real thing?
People will do anything to get ahead and if there are some leagues that start to accept athletes with them, I wouldnt be surprised if people volunteered for them.
Strange world but technology will be embraced in many different ways.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-04-27/world-athletics-ruling-stops-blake-leeper-olympic-bid/100097306
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That would be an interesting development in sport. Imagine someone just opts out completely and submits a robot in place of them 🤣
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't bet, but if I did my money would be on the robot LOL
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea if it gives them an unfair advantage then why not. Maybe there will be a different league created just for it in the future.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That might actually make it even more entertaining.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Maybe but it would open up the technology field to improve their artificial limbs.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that robots could compete alongside humans, but there would be some subtle changes in the rules.... like having to do an internet captcha challenge as a relay. You can just imagine the crowds waiting in anticipation as a robot tries to identify all the fire hydrants in the picture frame while the desperate humans are still 500 metres behind sprinting to catch up!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Some are of the mindset all should be legal. It is like the PED things. Many feel let them do it. If it is open to all, then the playing field is level on that end.
There is a bit of logic to it. If some are going to cheat, make it legal and let everyone do it. Then the advantage is negated.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'm in favor of that. I think that there should be a league just for enhanced athletes where anything goes: artificial limbs, drugs, uniforms made out of special tissue, and all that.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I agree.
Call it the augmented games where the best science/engineering wins.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Might as well make an entire section just for robotics and only the brain is alive. Might make for an interesting match up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Users can not go from Hive to BNB AND BNB to HIVE.
A post was just put up by @deathwing. This is a big step in the cross-chain access between Hive and BSC.
https://leofinance.io/@deathwing/announcing-bsc-bridge-2-0-or-instant-bnb-hive-conversion-or-new-frontend
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea it is a game changer and it came out really fast.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
@deathwing is killing it, and finally, it's a two-way bridge now!
It would be great if we get the wrapped version of Hive on BSC, something like bHive, and a liquidity pool on Cub Finance which uses it.
But until then, I will use my Hive through this bridge.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
According to Coingecko, Bitcoin's dominance dropped to 47.2%. This is due to Ethereums run up lately.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
https://www.coindesk.com/podcasts/coindesk-podcast-network/tesla-bitcoin-sell-shows-liquidity?utm_source=Iterable&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=campaign_Newsletter%204/28
There are three articles here that are interesting. The first being Elon Musk selling bitcoin to test liquidity and finding it passed with flying colors. The next that the hypocrisy of JPMorgan doesn't outweigh the greed. And the third is VISA, it's everywhere you want to be. :-) (or something like that)....
Bitcoin dominance is of course going to drop but I still don't see it losing it's place at the top. Just my opinion of course but when there is a "flight to quality" event again, you know where all the money is going....
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Elon clarified that 10% of BTC sold by tesla and not by him and it was part of liquidity in the company.
Yes .. BTC dominance is dropping but still it will be on top and I don't see any other coin replacing it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Greed makes the world go around 😀
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well ETH has all the money and development. Do you think XRP will beat ETH in dominance soon? I have been hearing rumors that it means the end of the bull market if it does.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am not optimistic on Ripple. Never was.
However, many are so it is possible. I dont see Ethereum slowing down simply because there are a lot of big money players who could care less about the fees.
That gives that chain a lot of potential since there are a ton of big money players out there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
XRP is never going to bear ETH I think because crossing 5$ xrp price is very big thing it seems
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea I don't think so either but there are a few that think that it is possible since it was #2 once in the past.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
i dont think there is much happening with ripple to flip ethereum but I could be wrong.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ethereum is going up and up so this could be one of the reasons for BTC dominance drop.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It isnt going to be easy but it is a sound idea at some point. I think we do see CEOs replaced by AI. It has a long way to go but the decision tree is fairly easy to replicate. We can build upon the basic tree while expanding the capabilities over the next few years.
It will be interesting to see where all this goes. Wyoming is already approving regulations that allow it to happen.
https://btcmanager.com/who-ceo-replace-dao/
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Well do most CEOs do anything productive? Besides a handful like Musk, I don't even know their names most of the time so I don't think I would know the difference.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is true. Some are rock stars but most are probably not much. They get enormous compensation to make decisions that are probably done at a lower level, they just sign off on.
Personally I am ready for AI to advance to the point where it can replace a lot of jobs quickly.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think that's possible. It would be weird at first but I think the results would quickly show it's worth it
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Shoot they would save millions in not having to pay bonuses, that is for sure!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They would save a lot. Most CEOs are glorified babysitters anyway. They get the reputation for turning a company around when it was mostly timing and they ride that way to a few different companies.
Very few mirror the success a second time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
But of course, Kurt Cobain needs an NFT.
https://decrypt.co/69373/kurt-cobain-nirvana-photoshoot-nfts
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I don't know if he should be adding more to the NFT bubble. I predict it probably won't have much value in a decade.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Considering he has been dead for about 30 years, I am not sure he is adding to the bubble.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. I consider all the art NFTs added to be part of the bubble and it doesn't matter if he is dead.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I was a huge Nirvana head as a teenager but at those prices, I think I'll pass lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Indeed he does but who gets the money for selling it? Who can do it ?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I am waiting for the Kim Kardashian booty NFT. It will be Yuge!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is a very interesting topic. They are right, the productivity gains are not there.
One of the reasons is the debt level is consuming more resources that should go to productive companies. But more of the total is servicing debt.
We also see a lot of bullshit technology. The app revolution was great but do we really need another messenger program.
The third thing is, believe it or not, there is not enough money out there. People do not realize how hungry the technology development bear is and how it needed to be fed.
Finally, we were in a 20 years cycle, that dates back to the 1860s, we the technological impact upon society is not felt. That will not be the case the next 20 years.
Oh one other thing, the concepts that were used in the past as metrics are no longer applicable. We have GDP which is slowed, in part due to near 10% of the American economy being under IT.
We also can add in that construction, in most developed countries is below the historic trend lines.
https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-04-28/productivity-growth-has-stalled-since-2005-and-isnt-improving/100097492
What are your thoughts?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It sure is interesting but I think it has been caused by the internet. We spend quite a bit of time on the phone or online instead of working.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
LOL well that is true although I will say that is probably a good thing since most of the jobs that we see, especially new ones created, are total bullshit anyway.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think this is an important factor of the equation. The concept of work is changing a lot and we may need new metrics, KPIs and what not to better reflect the new reality.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
at least we're being productive writing comments :P
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
LOL good point
we should use that metric instead
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We need @amr008 to play around with GPT-3 and a script and see if he can set up an auto commenting function.
Imagine if we could unleash that on Hive.
Might improve the numbers some.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. Fake activity and replying back for those who want a bot I guess.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
not sure what auto commenting would look like
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Living to 200. An interesting chart to say the least. A lot of possibles on there of course, which is the case with future forecasting.
https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/04/27/magazine/longevity-timeline.html?action=click&module=RelatedLinks&pgtype=Article
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It would be interesting to see all the new developments and VR games in the future if I can live to 200.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
This is very intersting. I guess when we think of personalized solutions, they are usually tied to deliver a better user experience in digital products. It's really interesting to see that the concept has applications in other industries too.
And this too. We were talking yesterday about lab-grown burgers, it makes sense to also have lab-grown orans lol
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We are closing in to the end of the "Help a CUB" and we got another entry today.
https://leofinance.io/@rickardoh/make-me-grin-helpacub-contest
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is like 6 or 7, somewhere around there.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I love it. I hope we'll have many more similar things in the near future.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Help a CUB is a fantastic initiative and I hope someone deserving get the reward.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Very good! The more the merrier
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I wonder if we can tokenize something like this. Wouldn't that be fun?
Might have to get some of those people from on Ethereum into it since they seem to have the bucks.
https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/cobra-superyacht-concept/index.html
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I guess it could but are you willing to be the one creating that path? I predict a bunch of legal issues.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
We were just talking about recycling the other day. Tokenizing something like that would be fun and also environmentally friendly. Where's the proposal? I wanna vote for it!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I'll be waiting for you to make the proposal lol. You seem fit to do so since you tend to have the scientific background for it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
the noise of it's engines would be huge and especially annoying in crowded harbors
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
They are considering that issue and apparently it can be worked out :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
still skeptical until I see it working :)
Well, that's a safe approach I guess.. nothing wrong with that
But it's a concept project so that may never happen

How do we think the pandemics freezing of migration will impact on countries GDP growth. I'd anticipate higher wages in labour sectors with a more open market in the tech industry with all the tech upgrades going on.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Higher wages but more people out of work. People will be kicked out of jobs and the rest will get a slight boost.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
What do you think about BCH. Is it ever going to touch its all-time high price that was approx 4k$ prior to its fork.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No idea but I don't know if its a good thing or a bad thing after all the noise cash controversy.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I searched 'noise cash controversy' on google and this the link that came.
https://www.publish0x.com/crypto-memes-by-at-cmmemes/noise-cash-this-time-making-some-censorship-noises-xykzxvr
Great job @cmmemes :D
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol. It was more about trying to demonetize those who don't support BCH.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No wonder their platform is full of spam and shit. Maybe they have put off all the good peeps after the controversy.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not a coin I hold so, I don't have sufficient knowledge about it
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Did anyone give eXode a closer look? It seems there is some excitement brewing over that game of late.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I did a demo and died and haven't gone back to it since I need to watch some tutorials. I am planning to do it over the weekend.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Not yet... but I'll have a week off soon so that could be the perfect time for it
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I kind of lost the patience needed to play games as I got older :P
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Same here. I used to spend hours playing games when I was in college. Once I was out in the world and started my first job, I found other things to do. Once I got married, I became 'patienceless'. No no games for me, lol.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I opened three packs and did the demo (died). Not much else I saw that one could do beyond that. I'll admit though I really didn't devote much time into it. Hopefully I'll get back to it soon.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
With the Leo Bridge hopefully coming soon, in your opinion, which token will benefit most? Cub? Leo? Both? None or an alternative?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Both. They will both be burned using the extra fees.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think both...but most likely leo. It should move their price up over a dollar or so. That is my thought.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Both... Cub is a child of Leo. Their healths are tied together imo. Moreover, the fees generated through the bridge will be used to burn these tokens so yeah. Stack as many as you can ;)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I think both will benefit from the bridge.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Every morning I first check my Hive notifications before WhatsApp. what about you?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
It's random. Sometimes I check PeakD, other days I check the @leomarkettalk and some days I check my LeoFinance feed first.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I stoped using whatsapp. I just need it when coaches of my kids have to communicate something lol :-)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I wish.. I could but its not possible because my boss, team, and everyone are on WhatsApp, and its a need so I cant do this. glad to know about you.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Lol me too, I personally don't use WhatsApp and recently uninstalled all the social media apps from my mobile. I use chrome to access my Hive/LeoFinance Blog to check the notifications. Then I reply to the comments I get while I was sleeping.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I have to check WhatsApp first, because unfortunately is a work tool for me so I gotta check it first thing to see if there are any emergencies.

https://techcrunch.com/2021/04/28/alchemy-raises-80m-at-a-505m-valuation-to-be-the-aws-for-blockchain/
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
No idea since I didn't really know about them and I think its a bunch of promotional stuff. I don't think WAX or HIVE uses it underneath but I could be wrong.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Is there any way to convert HBD to HIVE?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yes there are 2 ways but I suggest https://wallet.hive.blog/market.
The second way is to use the convert function but it doesn't make sense when HBD is greater than $1 and it takes 3.5 days.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thank you.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
As @jfang003, it makes sense to just exchange HBD to HIVE from the market. If HBD < $1, use the convert function available on PeakD. I don't see that happening anytime soon.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Greetings to all present I found this in pob https://www.proofofbrain.io/hive-150329/@calumam/cojones-active
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Yea its a good post. I left a good comment and I hope he doesn't feel discouraged at all for being open minded.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
So you are against what he wrote so to speak? And if I see the number of times you comment on pob I think it does not agree with what you say about that you have not committed much, there is a clear interest if you look at the rewards for comment it is easy in a way talking to get some pob in the comments! it seems more like a paradox!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Who are you talking to. I am not against what he said. I told him what I thought of the tribe and that they shouldn't be angry about bring things out into the open. After all they want discussions on how to move the tribe forward. Being open and talking about issues comes first.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
If the question appears in your answer, who do you think is what is written there? And to be honest I am not interested in being part of a specific side in terms of opinion, but I think that in this environment there are many lovers of decentralization, I can read it repeatedly throughout the community, having said this I want to emphasize that both have the right to express what they think is convenient, I do not think that anyone has the right to silence or say what to do, if so then we would enter a dictatorial spiral where freedom of expression is not valued, and of In the same way, you continue to leave a void in my burial to what in my opinion is a paradox!

Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
700 seems a bit too far. I guess maybe 550 if we get some clean up.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
A bit slow today but will add a few during my down time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
we all have our days i guess... well I am online now so I can contribute as much as I can before the end of the day
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Haha. We reached over 400 so I think our slow days are changing little by little. I might have to go soon so I might come back towards the end.

Good Morning Ervin, How are you doing today?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Excellent, thank you. And you?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Doing great. I am going out tonight after so many days of living under lockdown. So happy!!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Hey that's very good!
I'm looking forward to that day, but for now I guess I'm stuck at home
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Ah, that sucks bro! Hope you get to go out very soon. 🤞
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Excellent. Have a great time :)
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Thanks Ervin, I might be online while I am out and most probably my wife would kill me for that. 😂😂

Alright, let's try this again and I'll rephrase.
Opinions?
With Leo Bridge hopefully coming soon, which token would you accumulate. CUB or LEO?
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I would keep my LEO by converting it to bLEO and putting it in the bLEO/BNB farm earning CUB. That way I always have my LEO!
Have my cake and eat it too!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
yeah thats my strategy going forward...i dont want to have to sell my leo for cub anymore. i will just hold it in either the dens or lp
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
That is a great idea!. I already have some (well, a little) in that pool. I've been accumulating CUB over the past couple of weeks and from what I'm reading here I need to equally divide my attention between both CUB and LEO.
Thanks for the valuable input.

You are a genius @sgt-dan. Didn't think of it before.
I was always too afraid of impermanent loss but I think we can counter that with the growing price CUB.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Just made sense to me.
It makes sense to me as well. Good strategy!
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
I plan on getting some next month and have started stacking some LEO for it.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Smart man.
I think that it will have a positive burning effect on both tokens. In my opinion I prefer LEO because there are more burning processes at work and the supply will drop over time.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Again the answer is both for me lol
I really believe in the huge potential of CubFinance and the CUB token but I also think holding Leo is a great thing to do because it's where I'm most active and also it will be good to hold LEO when projects such as #ProjectBlank go live

I am not sure what LeoBridge has to do with the accumulation of either.
CUB is something I was acquiring since I it came out. And LEO is accumulated over the past few years.
I am not sure what the impact of LeoBridge will be on either. It will burn both tokens equally so that could be something.
To me, it is just another piece in the larger puzzle; on its own nothing spectacular but very important going forwrard.

Both but I think LEO will benefit more since it has more utility and a portion of the fees will be used to burn LEO.
Posted Using LeoFinance Beta
Accumulating both to be on the safer side but I am sure if CUB moons, LEO will moon too. Vice versa may or may not true but you never know. It's crypto!
